First time trying Rodeo Goat in Dallas. The Blue Jeans Burger is a MUST try ‼ The sweet potato fries are good too but a little soggy
The service during the last couple of visits was so much better than before. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. The outdoor patio is spacious and perfect for large groups or if you have a dog.
Open, casual, loud atmosphere but you can still converse with the folks youre with. Theyre known for burgers, and the combinations are intriguing. I had the Nanny Goat as a lettuce bowl and it was good. My friend had the Sugar Burger and the peaches worked well with all the flavors of the burger. It was a little messy, though. Get the homemade goat chips! Better than any fries or bagged potato chips. Service was kind, attentive and provided helpful opinions about the food.
Great burger spot with Texas beers on draft. We had an our first meal here. The queso and chips were delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cold beers. Loved the selection and the draft of the day is $4. Can't beat that. Service was friendly. For our burgers my husband got the dcc burger and added bacon. He liked it but nothing to write home about. I had the blue jeans burger minus the jalapeños--it still had a kick to it very minor it was very blue cheesyyy and messy to eat. And very filling. I loved the sweet potato fries. The homemade chips weren't a hit for us. My husband would have ordered the fries. Overall a nice chill lunch spot.
Pretty extensive menu with some pretty interesting looking burgers!! I got the Hot Bastard and sweet potato fries. I just got the burger as it came, it seemed like it would be good as is. And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy. I sat outside as it was a nice evening albeit slightly chilly and I didn't have a sweatshirt or jacket but that's my own fault. I'd definitely go again but I would also definitely get something other than the Hot Bastard - not because there was anything wrong with the Hot Bastard it's just the are so many good looking burgers on the menu I want to diversify!!!

I tried the burger of the month (dad bod) it was good but not as great as the my usual. The service is always great and the servers are very friendly.
Nut allergy friendly: I had no issues here! Arrived around 7:20 PM on a Thursday night and it was packed! They seemed to have a good amount of parking but thankfully it was walking distance away from my hotel. Order-to-Entree: 17 Minutes I easily found a table for two and there's ample indoor and outdoor seating. We got our beers pretty quickly, and our main courses came decently quickly as well. The burger was juicy and the sweet potato fries were solid. They've got an amazing diverse burger menu and I can see why it's a local favorite. Would definitely come back again.

Service was quick even in the middle of the World Cup. Wasn't too loud inside and it's open seating so you don't have to wait to be sat which is also nice.

Rodeo Goat is easily my go to burger place in DFW. I'm not even a huge burger person, but whenever I'm actually craving one this is always where I end up. I've been to several of their locations and every single one has been consistently great. The burger names sometimes change depending on the location even though they're the same burgers, so keep that in mind. I usually like trying the burger of the month competition, but the whiskey burger is always a safe choice and it's amazing every time. The cheese fries are just as good and never disappoint. The decor is really fun and the atmosphere is always lively with a good crowd, and the service has always been excellent. It's one of those places that just feels reliable no matter which location you visit.
We were staying nearby for the Lights All Night festival at Dallas Market Hall, so this place was convenient to stop by walking distance. Seating is of your choosing with long tables and movable barriers to adjust your party size accordingly, and a server will help you out. It's cool they make it like a farm as there is a whole other section of seating called the pen, which is kid friendly. We got the Rip Wheeler special burger which has coffee rubbed beef patty, black pepper bacon, Dr Pepper BBQ, and smoked gouda. We don't really see these types of specialty burgers in other burger spots we tried, while the familiar truffle burger, etc on the menu were more common. The burger ended up being fantastic and bursting with flavor, with a bit of a caveat that it's on the saltier side. We also got the cheese fries with surprise which has a boat load of fries and brisket and chili, and it comes with sides of ranch and ketchup. It was super filling and large, and while the menu said $13.99, we got a fantastic surprise that we only got charged $6.99. For drinks, we got a cider which was filled to the brim (I'd say 24oz?) for $6 which is an insane deal. A pint in our city of residence usually runs $8-10. But I guess when in Texas, everything is huge! For the 2 of us, we shared just 1 burger and 1 cheese fries with surprise and we still had a small amount of leftovers! Value wise it was great because the burgers are about $11-14 before tax, with affordable sides, desserts, and drinks. Service was decently attentive despite it being super busy so I give them props for that. There are periods with brief waits but it's understandable based on the staffing to customer ratio in a busier than usual lunch service.

This place always makes me happy and giddy! There is plenty of free parking, you sit yourself, no waiting, the serve comes over quickly. I always get the same dish- vegetarian burger with sweet potatoes fries. Always perfect, less fries than usual, but ok. Ssssooooo good! I will never stop coming here! read more

Rodeo Goat was a convenient, but hot, walk from Hilton Anatole. We went for Happy Hour, btw 3-6pm, and enjoyed 2 beers, questions and split a cobb salad. The waitress was very friendly. She offered local beer recommendations and split our cobb for 2 back of house. Will have to try a burger next time. Highly recommend their happy hour! read more

Burger was great. It was filling and delicious. I thought the burger was going to be messy, but it held up well. The large side of fries was enough for 3-4 people. The chili was pretty good too, but too much for me when combined with a burger. Service was fast and polite. We went during the World Cup and the TVs were all displaying the game. It's loud inside so it's great for watching a game or bringing kids. read more
This place is HUGE indoor and cool outdoor spacing it must be a nightly party but we went mid day during the week during the calm. I've been to the Fort Worth location and yes, this is a solid burger. Even my picky eater kiddo ate the kid sliders to my absolute delight! The fries were a miss although they look great, they tasted kind of meaty, like maybe cooked in/ with meat juice. We couldn't eat them so that was a waste of food and money but the burger stands strong alone. Our server was great, and I like they don't make you feel rushed to get in and out. Oh, my! What a fun and delicious treat this place is. We started with wine, beer and dessert (hey, life is uncertain so we ate dessert first). If you love brie cheese, these are a must have. Goat balls are fried brie cheese with blueberry compote...so yummy We both had turkey burgers which were moist, well seasoned and the best I have ever had. Really chill place with a good bit of parking. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon, and sat at the bar. They do have a few tvs there so you can probably catch your favorite game! There's more than enough seating, but I do feel like it's more seating than parking.. I can see it getting really packed if people went in if they had something on. They also have outside seating which looked pretty nice as well. My food was okay, nothing to really brag about.. but the Service was nice. Be aware that the menu is mainly meat. They did have a vegan burger option though if needed. read more

Excellent burgers and very well priced. The potato buns are amazing and the fries are excellent with great portion. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Dallas. Great parking. Friendly staff. I got the bodega burger and it was amazing. I went back to try the candy burger and I thought it was good but not better than the bodega. Also tried their fire chicken burger and it was very good but still think bodega was the best. Great ambiance and plenty of seating. There is also bar stools if you want a quick bite yourself if you are in a business trip. Highly recommended! read more
This was an experience for sure! I cannot beat their outdoor ring game. I felt like an idiot - and couldn't do it at all sober. The do special burgers that compete against one another on a scoreboard - they see which one is more popular. I got a seafood patty one when I was there, and it was pretty good. To be honest...I just thought it was going to be better. We had super high expectations because of reviews we had received from friends but the food was just kind of average. I ordered the Billy F Gibbons and it was okay but there were several issues. First, the burgers are much smaller than they look online so they threw us off a little. Second, the bun on my burger was extremely dry. I asked several others in my party if there was as well and they said yeah it kind of seemed that way. Also, when I was looking for the cream cheese and mango pico, it was very sparse. Probably about a teaspoon of cream cheese and about the same amount of mango. Just not what we were expecting. Everyone said their food was "okay" but nothing to write home about. I will say, our server was very nice and the restaurant had a good "hang out" vibe to it. Oh and the fries were pretty good. Maybe we can try again and cross our fingers for a better burger. read more

O.M.G. Is a burger place allowed to be this good? I hope so, because I need more. The restaurant has a very industrial feel-concrete walls, long tables that groups share, and metal pipe type fixtures. There are a wide variety of burgers and each month there is a "battle" between two off the wall burgers. The beef is ground daily and fresh, but you can swap out the type of burger if you choose. I got the "dad bod" burger, which had a Mac and cheese patty along with the beef patty. We also got loaded fries with the "surprise" (aka brisket chili). So good!! read more
The day after Christmas, we were craving something less traditional but still filling, and we stumbled upon Rodeo Goat and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Ranch House Burger :ground beef patty, bacon & onion marmalade, arugula, white cheddar, ranch mayo on a brioche bun. Let me tell you, that bacon & onion marmalade stole the show. The beef patty was juicy and packed with flavor. It was definitely a win. My company did not want a burger so they opted for the chicken selection. They ordered the Free Bird Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich with pickles, bandit ranch, brioche bun (skipped the southern slaw). So good! It had a hint of hot honey that was pleasantly sweet and just the right amount of heat for the taste buds We shared an order of Cheese Fries and for 11.99, I'm glad we did. Fries included cheddar, bacon, and jalapeños with ranch and ketchup. Solid, but a little dry and I was craving more of that gooey cheese pull. Might've been cooked a bit too long, but still ok but I would not order again. Overall, Rodeo Goat delivers bold flavors, fun combos, and hits the spot for a post-holiday indulgence. Go for the burgers, but not for the salads or service . The Caesar was absolutely DROWNED in dressing.... And I added a chicken patty for an up charge - it was maybe 8 bites.... Definitely a letdown for a "healthy" (or even tasty) entree -- you couldn't taste the freshness of the salad due to the half a cup of dressing mixed throughout. The waitress picked up the salad within 5 minutes and didn't even ask why all of it was left (outside of the protein I ate off). Would return for my husband- he enjoyed his burger. read more

No more than $100...and after that threshold is reached. The remaining tips are given to the Owner. They call it the Amy's Baking Company Model...enjoy~!
