I came here with friends before attending a concert at the Winspear Opera House, and am so glad we came! The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The staff was super helpful in answering questions, and very patient while we sat and visited, deciding what we were going to do before the concert. The food was excellent. I got the bone-in pork chop, which was excellent. It was served with a tasty app,e Puree and some roasted carrots. The atmosphere was busy, but not frantic - just enough to show how popular this place is with people of all ages. I was not familiar with Sloane's Corner before we went, butvI'll definitely be back!

Great ambiance, service and menu. Popular with the business crowd. Get the tomato bisque and lobster Cobb salad!

I got the coconut latte, and it was even better than I expected! I was debating between the hazelnut and pistachio croissant and decided on the hazelnut, but it was a bit disappointing. The croissant itself was well-made, but the filling was just Nutella, which felt underwhelming. The ambiance is nice, with a lot of office workers stopping by. They have small tables inside, which can feel a bit cramped, but there's also outdoor seating, which is a great option. The service was decent, though nothing standout. Overall, a good spot for coffee, but I'd probably try a different pastry next time

Amazing food. Always stuck between the chicken and the pasta because both are amazing! I go at least every other week, the friendly service from Red and Natalie are the cherry on top. Great happy hour deals too.

A true gem--the food and drinks are outstanding. Be sure to introduce yourself to Red, the bartender. She'll craft a specialty cocktail just for you, featuring her infused whiskeys and house-made salt and sugar rims. It's an experience you don't want to miss.

Was in downtown for a convention over spring break, and stopped here for a light dinner. The menu had such a great range of options and the food was delicious! Our waitress was sweet and attentive, and sitting on the patio was lovely! I shared two appetizers with one of my friends. If you love a brûlée topping and baked Brie, this one is just the right combo. The crab cakes with the dipping sauce/herb oil were fantastic as well! I definitely want to return and try more things on the menu! The only downside is they are not open on Saturday and Sunday, so make sure to stop in during the week!

My lobster quiche... disappointing. Very dry, and the lobster was rubbery.

Brought my mom and mother in law here for Mother's Day brunch and we loved it! I made reservations and they ran about 15 min late so we sat at the bar and had drinks. They sat us under an insulated awning by a really nice glass-enclosed fireplace, which made everything cozy. It was pouring outside and a little chilly so it made our table perfect. Loved the special Mother's Day brunch menu - it was awesome! The appetizers were honestly my favorite part by far. Cracked pepper bacon deviled egg, mini lobster rolls, and watermelon tomato salad. Delicious! The entrees were varied but I didn't particularly love mine - I got the lobster and asparagus egg white quiche and it was over baked and dry. My mother in law got the traditional eggs Benedict which was amazing and my mom got the steak and hash with bernaise sauce. Both were really really good, although the steak was a little over cooked too. The desserts were chocolate covered strawberries, mini tres leches coconut cupcakes, and tiramisu cheesecake. The flavors were good but the cheesecake was frozen... should have been thawed out more. Overall I would definitely come back. This was a new menu so I'm sure there were some tweaks needed but I loved the ambiance, the service, and most of the food. They have lots of daily/happy hour specials, makes me wish I lived closer to downtown so I could take advantage!

The fireplace is too hot, it's 70F!

That's not where the differences stop as the Archive menu provides more traditional cocktails and a diverse array to choose from, with drinks you may be more familiar with. Alchemy on the other hand offers a more experimental approach to their drink menu, including creative cocktails that seem eclectic and never been tried before, using unusual ingredients or prepared in a unique way, but if you are feeling adventurous, I'd highly recommend trying the latter. Keep in mind, when entering Alchemy, the inside is very dark so if you want to see properly I would recommend sitting outside if it isn't too hot. To start, my friends and I ordered the truffle fries for the table and they were highly ranked in my opinion for best truffle fries in Dallas. They were perfectly crispy and flavored well with the truffle seasoning. For drinks, from the alchemy menu, we ordered the I Dream of Kiwi (my choice), Kaleidoscope Eyes, and Inappropriate Beet Pun. My drink was made up of bamboo tea gin, kiwi coconut water, plum wine, and kiwi boba. I liked the sweetness mixed with tartness and the boba balls added a nice touch. Additionally we ordered the pineapple soft serve margaritas (it was my first time experiencing soft serve margs) and I really enjoyed Apothecary's version. The pineapple flavor was tangy alongside the creaminess of the ice cream. And there was a nice chili salt garnish (similar to tajin) added on top. For food, I ordered the Lil' Thuggies, a hilarious name for a dish that is actually very delicious. It consisted of popcorn chicken nuggets, cooked in sweet tea brine and spiced flour, served with a side of epazote ranch and korean wing sauce respectively. My friends ordered the Japanese elotes and Muhammara (roasted red pepper & walnut spread, greek oil, sea salt, microgreens, grilled baguette). Both very tasty as well, with the elotes having a cream sauce on top. Overall I can't wait to go back to apothecary and maybe try the other side next time.

The food looks impressive, but honestly lacks flavor and depth. It tastes like bar food, which is fine, but not when you expect an elevated gastronomy. Keep food expectations low and you'll be happy!

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.
