Loved this intimate and cute French bistro located inside the National. Came here on the weekend after spending time at the Thompson Hotel spa & pool lounge. There were lots of folks rolling solo at the bar which was great and definitely made me feel more at ease since I was solo as well. I ordered their signature red blend which was divine! They have a 5 ounce as well as 8 ounce glass option. I very much enjoyed their ceasar salad, great even with no chicken or etc. Also went for the smoked salmon dish, absolutely a fave and would go back for that alone. Bartenders were extremely friendly and engaging. Can't wait to go back and check out more!!
We stayed at the Thompson Dallas Hotel and Little Daisy restaurant was inside the hotel. We decided to grab brunch here and it was pretty good! We ordered some pastries to start; summer very galette, plain croissant, and banana miso bread. We ordered matcha lattes, the Daisy omelette, and smoked chicken andouille. It was very flavorful and a fancy spread. If you're ever in town and staying at the Thompson hotel or just want to try a new brunch spot, check this place out. Staff is professional and respectful. This restaurant is great for small or large groups. Till then, let's eat!
This spot located in the Thompson Hotel was actually better than we expected as a restaurant hotel and it being a convenient choice during our stay. The food was pretty good -- we ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, Cheeseburger and Fries, and the Cinnamon Roll with Pistachios. Definitely get the cinnamon roll!! My only disappointment was the Pistachio Matcha Martini that didn't have enough matcha to my liking and could not taste the pistachio flavor at all. It wasn't a terrible drink, just a bit misleading of the name not matching the flavor. Service was pretty quick and they were accommodating to seating us even with the delayed check in.
Went here for my birthday breakfast 9/4 and it was absolutely delicious! Great service and ambience. I will be returning.
We enjoyed our brunch. This was our first time here at the little Daisy Our server was Neri. She was very pleasant and accommodating. We ate inside as it was warm out. I asked to be seated in the center so as not to have the AC firing down at me. We were given a nice 4-top. Neri took our drink and food orders. We ordered: - Coffees - Cinnamon Roll - Two Eggs breakfast with bacon, potatoes and toast - Omelette with Salad and side of potatoes The coffee was hot and was replenished often. The $16 cinnamon roll - oh my, it was very good. My wife's poached eggs were not very warm when served but she ate them anyway. She enjoyed her meal. My omelette was sort of weird. The technique wasn't what I expected. The omelette was fully cooked, the filling (bacon, mushrooms and asparagus stems) placed on top, then it was folded or rolled and plated. I would have enjoyed the omelette more had the ingredients been placed on the egg as it was cooking so it would be a bit incorporated. Or maybe the omelette served a bit less cooked. Still, I did eat it all :) The manager stopped by near the end to check in with us. She was very pleasant and we kindly gave her our feedback. We would eat at Little Daisy again.
Randomly went here with a friend celebrating newly weds and it was the perfect spot. Very intimate but with really great drinks and good food. I got a short rib sandwich, which isn't something I would typically get, but it was really good. The service was really great, and everything was perfect. I would deff return for a special occasion.
Had a lovely brunch here. Elevated and chic. If you don't want the bachelorette vibes at The Hampton Social, come here. It was Friday late morning in March and the place was practically empty but well staffed. Seemed like a well kept secret. Very clean, bright, and pretty. The bartender and hostess were friendly and accommodating. Located in the same building as the Monarch restaurant. Connects to the pool area. Great cocktails and wine. Food was excellent. Really enjoyed the leak soup. Highly recommend. If I were in Dallas more often I'd be a regular.
French inspired menu, with very interesting selections. It is on an upper floor in a residential building, and is not really marked as such in the lobby. The restaurant was well appointed and the service was very good. Wine selection was decent.
I had been wanting to try Little Daisy for quite some time. I called multiple times to ask questions about our reservation and no one ever picked up the phone. Their website states that Valet parking is validated upon your request. The day of our reservation we arrive to the designated valet area and no one ever came out, so I ended up calling the Thompson Hotel. The lady at the front desk tells me that we can self park and the parking would be validated. We park and head to our reservation. Upon arrival we were seated right away. Little Daisy is super cute inside, giving a very French vibe. For starters I ordered a caramel iced coffee, and that was really good. For my meal I had the smash burger which was a little messy, but overall pretty good. The burger comes with cajun fries, which were tasty but had a weird after taste. I ordered a mocktail, being dry January and all, but it tasted so bad and I didn't drink it. At the end of our meal after we paid the bill, I handed my parking ticket to be validated and they said that they could not validate it, because valet is the only parking they validate. This was annoying, because we were told different. To make a long story short, our parking ended up being validated by The National Apartments secretary. I'm will not return because this place is not worth the parking hassle.
Such a fun brunch spot tucked inside the Thompson Hotel with the cutest vibes. The space alone makes it worth checking out. We came for brunch, but honestly the dinner menu looks phenomenal and definitely has us planning a return visit. The fresh coffee and house-made pastries completely sold me -- you can really taste the difference. Do yourself a favor and order the Benedict, it's superb and perfectly executed. The Bloody Mary is also a real treat and pairs so well with brunch. Great atmosphere, great food, and an all-around lovely spot for a weekend brunch.
This place is amazing! We must've gone here a handful of times during our stay in Dallas. They have a unique brunch menu that includes cajun / creole dishes. The venue is also super cute, and if I was looking for a wedding venue, I'd probably inquire if they did weddings here because the set up looks perfect. It wasn't busy when we went on Friday and Saturday, but it was super busy on Sunday. The servers were very friendly and attentive. During the times we were here, we ordered the pimento crawfish toast, short rib ragu, smoked chicken panini, steel cut oatmeal, avocado toast, buttermilk pancakes, and cajun crawfish fettuccini. All dishes were amazing. The Express Lunch includes pairing any 2 half portions of select items for $23. We did this for the short rib ragu and smoked chicken panini. It was the perfect shareable amount and quite the deal for $23. I highly recommend the pimento crawfish toast for Amuse Bouche and the Cajun Crawfish Fettuccini was one of my favorites. For the pancakes, I would've preferred to have the peaches topping on the side. Overall great place for food and I love their food selections. Also great spot for drinks too.
What are we doing here Little Daisy? I went there to just grab a croissant and a coffee cake. Never having been there before the place looks ok. A tad stuffy for my liking but it's in the Thompson building so that's a nice part of it. It's a 1 star rating because the croissant and coffee cake were $8 a piece. I've eaten these things everywhere in the city. This is by far the priciest of them all. For that price I was expecting a homemade, large and flaky pastry. What I got is the same croissant I get at most local coffee shops. So dissatisfied and disappointed. I would net be going back to this place for anything. Service wasn't great either.

Otherwise there are 2-4 top tables and booths. When we arrived there was a large party in the middle , which slowed down table turnover We did have to wait quite a while to be seated even when there were plenty of tables open (we assumed it was due to the large party and the number of staff) The space is very cute and perfect for brunch There seems to also be patio seating but it wasn't open Food: I had the avocado toast which was delicious. They also have a selection of teas and some locally pressed fresh juices . Service: The service was fine - a little slow and nothing noteworthy Overall a cute spot, but not if you're in a hurry
I was staying at the Thompson Dallas for my birthday trip in December 2025. I was happy to find out that given that since I booked through Amex Travel and use my AMEX platinum card that I was able to get a daily breakfast perk of $65 a day at the Little Daisy. We went the first morning and decided to get a light breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised that it was a French and American café which funny enough we had just completed our France vacation in October so we were very much looking forward to Parisian breakfast. We ordered a croissant and two sparkling wine and they were absolutely fabulous. I can tell that this was made at a bakery that had a lot of French influence. The croissant was light and airy, but also crisp, and we also ordered another round of sparkling wine, which was all covered. Throughout the trip, we came every morning for breakfast to the point that the bartender's knew us by name. Zee was our server and was absolutely amazing. Her bright smile and pleasant demeanor greeted us every morning. One of those mornings we were actually headed out to the Dallas Cowboys game so needed to eat something more substantial. I ordered the croissant croquette Madame which came with seasoned potatoes. It was more American than French, but I thoroughly enjoyed it with its flavors. Since it was Christmas time Santa Claus came in that morning to take photos. If you're staying in the Dallas area, I highly recommend coming to the Little Daisy not just if you're a guest but if you're in the city, this is a place that you will enjoy thoroughly decorated amazingly with Little French Easter eggs.. read more

We ate here for breakfast during our stay at the Thompson. We had reservations for 8:30am. While we arrived on time, the hostess seemed to have a little bit of trouble navigating the seating chart. It was a little awkward, but after that got sorted out, we were seated. I enjoyed my food, but felt like the juice I ordered felt a little blah- it was a pre-bottled Beet Juice and I think a fresh one would have been better. I ordered the Little Daisy Crab Cake Benedict which was pretty good- at $34 it was a bit overpriced. This felt more like a dish in the neighborhood of $26ish because let's be real, a third of this plate are chunks of potato. Decent amount of lump crab meat and the other flavors like the hollandaise and the poached eggs were delicious. The potatoes on the side were good too. Overall it was a filling breakfast, but didn't quite feel like it was worth $34. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and there is a nice view that looks o to a terrace. The atmosphere is very nice. Service was fine, but nothing really stood out. Overall, Little Daisy is a nice way to start your day. The only thing I wished was better was the juice, the seating process and that the food was a better value. read more
I stopped by less than an hour before closing for a quick bite and ended up having a lovely experience. The service set the tone immediately. Our server never made us feel rushed, took time to walk us through the menu, and encouraged us to order at our own pace. The restaurant itself is adorable. The design feels French-inspired--elegant and artistic without being stuffy. There was something interesting to look at in every corner, from the decor and table settings to the ceiling itself. For food, we started with the amuse-bouche offerings. I was expecting a traditional one-bite taste, but these were more like full appetizers, with three pieces per order. The mushroom arancini was crispy and flavorful, the oysters were a perfect bite, and the crawfish pimento toast was a standout. The crawfish and pimento cheese were both distinctly present, with neither overpowering the other, and the buttery toast tied everything together beautifully. We also ordered the steak tartare, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with its accompaniments. Between the thoughtful service, beautiful space, and delicious food, this was an easy win. The entire staff was warm, courteous, and genuinely delightful. I'll definitely be back. read more

It was definitely different from what I thought it would be. I was expecting a more upscale dining experience. I even dressed. I didn't realize it was part of a hotel/ apartment living building. Pretty much a more casual dining experience, trendy. The food was absolutely wonderful. The snapper with the roasted grapes with the citrus sauce really brought the dish together and the other people in the group (4 of us), enjoyed their entrees as well. I was stuffed after my meal I also had the Haricot Vert were good as well. The service started off a little on the not so well side. Our server seemed a little overwhelmed/ tied too tight at the beginning, but finally warmed up by the end of our service. Our Supper Club is really pretty easy going and we enjoy our monthly outings. Who knows where it will take us next month. Give it a try and let me know your experience. Ohhhh by the way please valet park and don't forget to get it stamped by the staff before leaving. read more

Been looking for a place with some dinner and Jazz in Dallas and found Little Daisy in my google search, so decided to try it out for date night! Located on the 9th floor of the Thompson Building in Downtown Dallas, the building/hotel offers valet parking that you can have validated by the hostess upon your arrival. Upon getting there, we were instantly greeted and since we had reservations were seated quickly. Our server, Mike was very attentive and explained things in good detail since it was our first time there. The restaurant space was open and had a view of the hotel pool, but since I was there for the music and not the to watch cannonballs splashes, I turned in the direction of piano. We arrived just in time for 50 cent martinis and they were great to start dinner. Started with a shrimp cocktail appetizer and the shrimp were HUGE! Both my wife and I stuck with the seafood and I ordered Loup de mer amandine (wolf fish) which I had to look up. It was served skin on and was very flaky with crispy skin which I like. My wife chose the Vero Island salmon. And for dessert it was the JL flourless chocolate cake...yummy! read more

Every table has its own little daisy, and that small touch sets the tone for the whole place. The ambiance is moody, cinematic, and undeniably a moment. This isn't just a spot to eat, it's the kind of place that's perfect for date night, where the energy feels as carefully crafted as the food. Chef Jeramie (straight outta Louisiana) is out here throwing flavor haymakers like he's headlining Bourbon Street Fight Night. Every dish has that soulful, scratch-made swagger you can't fake, the kind you only learn where food is a love language. Someone get Michelin on the phone ASAP. This man is working on earning himself a star. What a talent! The second that cheesed biscuit bread hit the table, I had to sit down and have a personal meeting with my tastebuds. Agenda: "We're about to get baptized in butter and glory." Cocktails? Smooth criminals. Just strong enough to let you know they mean business, but so tasty you'll forget they're running your tab. One and done, and still a party. Order: Skinny Margarita + Naked and Famous. Then came the burger + truffle fries combo. Bruh. That wasn't a burger, that was a sermon. Fries so crisp they should have a TikTok ASMR account. Truffle so loud it had me checking Dallas city noise ordinances. By the time I finished, I was looking for a confessional booth to apologize for the things I did to that plate. But here's where they really turned it into a hospitality master class: Jagher isn't just managing the floor, he's conducting a symphony. Cool, confident, impeccable execution. And then he went beyond. Little Daisy is inside the Thompson Hotel, and when he found out I had recently gotten engaged, he didn't just congratulate me, he pulled off one of the most elite hospitality moments of my life. Moments after returning to my hotel room, there was a knock at the door. Waiting for me? A bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a handwritten note. That is not service, that is legacy. Give this man his flowers, matter of fact, give him the entire greenhouse because he's redefining what leadership in hospitality looks like. Ivan delivered service so thoughtful it felt personalized. Case in point: we ordered two Arnold Palmers to start, and instead of just saying "coming right up," he asked if we wanted more tea than lemonade, or more lemonade than tea. That is next-level attention to detail. That is how you turn a drink order into a story you'll actually tell people. Ivan = hospitality hall of fame. Exceptional job well done! The entire staff crushed it. From the kitchen to the floor, this wasn't just teamwork, it was dreamwork. Bottom line? Little Daisy isn't just serving food, they're serving testimony. I walked in a diner, walked out a disciple. Dallas, you've officially got a new must-hit. And trust me: we won't just be back, we're bringing the whole congregation! We stayed at the hotel two nights for my birthday and we got breakfast each day here. The service was great. Employees were attentive and knowledgeable. Although on the first opening of breakfast there was someone there to make a matcha and the second morning the person who made the matcha a was not there until 11am. That was kind of a bummer that everyone doesn't know how to make them. That's alright though I went to a place later and got a matcha. The food was cooked perfectly. The eggs were medium and actually cooked with just the yolks runny and whites cooked. Most restaurants leave more of the whites raw and that's gross. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy! I got a pancake with my meal instead of the bread and it was the best pancake I've had. It came out with a little dish of peach jam, whipped cream, butter, and cinnamon infused syrup. All of which were tasty. I don't even like cinnamon very much, but it was such a slight infusion that I really liked it. Everything wasn't overly sweet like other breakfast joints are. The first morning our server made us two matcha drinks with oatmilk. They are really good. Small, but delicious. The second morning I wanted to try the oatmeal with a side of eggs. Gotta get that protein! My boyfriend got the same thing as the first morning. The two egg with sides dish. Omg the oatmeal is so perfect. It had a crunchy and nutty toasted granola on top with fresh fruit. This is the best oatmeal I've ever had! They do each dish perfectly. The inside is decorated with artwork and a really neat mural on the ceiling. The tables are clean and each table was covered with a white tablecloth and a little white flower atop each one. read more

Came here from out of town exploring with a friend. Saw they had an espresso martini flight- of course shared it with my friend. The pumpkin martini was amazing topped with pumpkin foam.. i even got the foam on my second regular martini. The bartender was very kind and sociable. Very decorated atmosphere for Christmas. We also had some brussel sprouts which were yummy. We didn't have dinner but the food that came out looked great. Definitely a hotel bar worth checking out. read more
Wifey and I ate here for back-to-back meals: dinner one night, then b-fast the next morning. Ambiance is quite different. At night, it was dark, moody, quiet and romantic. For breakfast, it was bright and cheery. Both meals were outstanding. Hostess sat us immediately. For Saturday dinner, our server Mike was rock star. He knew the menu, guided us to great choices, and provided stellar service. The food was creative. I started with a half-doze oysters with a one-of-a-kind pear and pink peppercorn mignonette sauce. I didn't touch the bottled pepper sauce - that is an insult to the oysters! I had chef's cajun take on cassoulet, a classic southern French slow-cooked stew. It was damned good! Wifey had the cast iron diver scallops. Also delicious and too much for her so I had some bonus scallops. We washed this all down with a delicious bottle of Evening Land Chardonnay. What a meal! We stayed around for the jazz trio. What a delight: a pianist, upright bassist, and wonderful singer. A perfect night. We came back for Sunday brunch the next day and had an equally enjoyable meal. I absolutely loved this place but the parking leaves something to be desired. I am not going to let the janky parking situation to interfere with what a great experience I had. First off the decor.. chef's kiss. I loved the color scheme, the art work, the bar, the furniture, down to the cute little daisy on the table. The lighting is everything. It sets this mood. Our waiter,Carlos, was to best. No need to ask because he already knew lol. So warm and friendly. The menu is French but after reading over it and finding the chef is from Louisiana I surmise that it's French Creole .. it's the slow cooked ham and collard greens of the Benedict along with the tomato purée in the hollandaise. The slow roasted chicken BLT the French toast reminded me of my granny's bread pudding. This place is so good I most definitely will be back again. read more

This charming Franco-American bistro is nestled on the ninth floor of the Thompson Dallas hotel at 1401 Elm Street. The ambiance is French and Southern. This is typically my breakfast and lunch spot. Fantastic breakfast! Wonderful, art-filled venue on the 9th floor of the Thompson Hotel in downtown Dallas. Extensive, varied menu. All food choices were delicious according to our party of 7. Highly recommend all egg dishes and the potatoes are a treat too. Carlos and Joaquin (see photo) were great servers -- friendly, accommodating, and very sincere in terms of providing a really enjoyable breakfast experience. Returned for a great breakfast the next day. Neri (see photo) served us and was friendly, with a great smile, and eager to please. Joaquin assisted us too, and was super just like yesterday. Beautiful space. On same level as the pool so there's always a fun vibe. There was live music (piano and horn) while we were there. The food was delicious; great flavors and textures. The martinis were great. We sat at the bar and got great service. read more

Went here last night for my boyfriend and I's anniversary, and it was so special! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the live music was such a treat. We were treated so well and gifted some champagne to celebrate! The food was 10/10, we loved everything. Definitely recommend! read more

Little Daisy was great! We went for Brunch 3/11 and they had a great variety of breakfast and lunch options. I had the pancakes (No peaches) with chicken sausage, bacon and eggs. No complaints here!! The butter for the pancakes was delish. I believe it was made with real vanilla bean! I also had the fresh orange juice and it was so good!! My friend had the Chicken Andouille bowl and loved it. The ambience is cute and classy, but also casual. It was quiet with great music. Our server Alex was so kind and was extremely attentive and had great service!!! Overall 10/10, I will be back! The peaches for the pancakes would probably kick it up a knotch! They are still so good even without! read more
