This is hands down my new favorite happy hour spot. The service and drinks are amazing you just can't beat $6-7 per drink. The outside seating is also very nice and we were going to dinner after and only ordered fries for food and those were delicious and fried to perfection!

I stop in last Sunday afternoon after a very very long shift ! I asked the host if Sage was still working and yes she was !! Sage immediately greeted me and told me to come to her patio bar! Come on universe my Sunday just got better .. it was almost the end of her shift but I never felt rushed or an inconvenience! Ordered me a glass of champagne and chatted up about how my day had been !! I know it can get loud at times but 4pm was cool and chill and it was exactly what I needed! I ordered the pretzels with 2 sauces !! Those bad boys are huge tangy mustard and smooth melted cheese ! Definitely will come back !! Yall asked for my girl Sage .. she will treat you right

Very crowded but a man at the bar with a gallon sized copper mule cup gave us his reservation-THANK YOU!!! We had drinks-great wine list, great cocktails! The reuben was fantastic-buttery rye bread, sliced turkey, pickles, and fries. So delish!! It was so good, we ordered the chocolate cake, served with ice cream, strawberries. Very chocolatey, light, yummy!!! Summary We love this place-great menu, outstanding service, local atmosphere! Go early! Fun crowd!
Great spot for drinks! I came here for the first time recently and will definitely be back. My favorite cocktail was the Coconut Mojito, which had a great taste without being overly sweet. I also liked the Flower Child. This drink is very aesthetically pleasing with flowers added to the top, and it comes with sweet lavender foam that I think went well with the gin. The Texas Peach Smash was also great. As a snack our group shared the fried mozzarella, which was unexpectedly delicious. This comes with sides of marinara and jalapeño ranch.
Went here on a Friday night with a group of around 8 and was pretty nice! The have some larger tables to accommodate larger parties, and the music they play is nice lol. Their mixed drinks are good, the frozen rose was a bit too strong for my taste. We also got the mac and cheese and chicken tenders. Their tenders are hugeee which is nice but also made them a bit dry. They give you many sauce options and the fries are seasoned nicely. The only thin I would not get is the mozzarella sticks. The breading is weird and they did not come hot or melted.
Overall this place is just ok. Me and some friends were walking around downtown to hangout and decided to stop by here for a bite to eat. The staff is super nice and helpful which was great however the food was nothing special. I got the chicken strips to share with one of my friends which were fine and it came with 3 different sauces which was nice. Some of the food others order could have been better also. One of my friends order mozzarella sticks and some came out warm and others not, some did not even have the cheese melted and it was more of just a stick of cheese. The place itself is big however offering seating inside, outside in a covered area, and at the bar.

The staff was kind, helpfu and sharp. A definite craving for a next time. Highly recommend. The spring weather was perfect aligned with the ambiance.

They offer a daily happy hour from 5-7 pm, making it a perfect and affordable choice for a casual weeknight drink after work. With prices in the $6-7 range, you really can't go wrong. For spicy marg lovers, the Diablo Margarita is my go-to. Food-wise, the house-famous chicken strips are the must-try item. Go for the spicy version if you like heat--the seasoning is fantastic. Just be prepared: these strips are massive. Each order comes with three, and I can rarely finish them all in one sitting. Because of the size, the breading-to-chicken ratio can feel a little off, and I sometimes wish for more of that crispy, seasoned coating in every bite. They're served with fries (which are just okay) and a mix of sauces including spicy ketchup, TSP secret sauce, and gravy. If you're starting with an appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip is my absolute favorite. Served in a bread bowl, it's creamy, flavorful, and easily the best version I've found in Dallas. Overall, The Standard Pour hits the sweet spot between lively drinks and satisfying comfort food--definitely worth a visit.

They were seasoned to perfection and soo soft and warm when ripping pieces a part. Also like the hummus/vegetable/pita bread plate, which was a lot of food! The menu is pretty extensive too. The service was also fantastic!!! The servers were so friendly and attentive!! They made sure to make a last round before happy hour ended! The patio area was a great place for large groups, but they also have completely indoor spaces. The one thing I wish was changed was the parking. There's a lot right next to the building, but it is pay only. The machine was not working, so we had to find parking a few blocks away.
Brunch prices here are really good. You get a lot of food for what you pay and the food is good. The dip was absolutely amazing in the bread bowl. I loved using the sourdough to dip instead of the chips. The standard was just a standard breakfast. For the cheesy eggs, I did expect the cheese to be melted in the eggs, not just put on top as an after thought. Sausage and bacon good as always. Surprise was how much I liked the waffles. They were cooked perfectly, nice and fluffy on this inside with the nice waffle crunch on the outside.
I am biased since I only got the Texas bourbon bread pudding - which was good and unique. It had some spice and the bread pudding was not sweet but the ice cream balanced out the sweetness, which made a unique bread pudding experience for me. The place gives a sportsy, high end bar vibe while still being clean and friendly. Stop by here if you're going bar hopping!

This was a solid place for the wife and I to visit on a Wednesday night at 11pm. It was lively and the kitchen would stay open until 11:45 Here's what we got: - steak frittes: for $29, you get Brussels sprouts, fries, steak and a peppercorn sauce. How can you argue with that? You can't. Solid. - spicy chicken strips: these were good but nothing special. What was special were the sauces this came with. Aside from that, we felt the chicken was kinda dry. This bar surprisedly has an AMAZING steak frites. The ambience is nice, the servers are friendly and great, and the drinks are worth it. I will say it's popular so it can be on the more crowded side at times. read more

Stopped by randomly on a Friday evening and it was so busy! Was by myself and eventually found a spot at the bar. Ordered the salmon and a couple of lemon drop martinis. The ambiance was very lively, and it seems like this is a nice spot to mingle and meet other people. The drinks were good, but I wasn't too keen on the salmon as it was pretty garlicky/salty. Like throughout the mashed potatoes and salmon. Overall it was a pretty nice serving and looked great but will probably try something else on the menu next time. read more

this place is so good for happy hour! the drinks are to die for. cheap, strong, and refreshing. Got the frozen drink frose, which had a good amount of fruit on the top! For the food, really enjoyed the chicken loaded nachos. they did not skimp on the chicken and other toppings! it was such a good price for how much you get. so worth it. the ambiance is so cozy and casual, but also elegant. the service was honestly so amazing. the waitresses were attentive and welcoming. They were able to split checks easily and efficiently too. would highly recommend coming to this place for happy hourr! i can't wait to be back read more

Went for brunch yesterday and not only enjoyed my food and mimosas but there was also live music. Service was quick and cordial. My only faux pas is that everywhere is pet friendly now. Someone came in and sat right next to us and had to keep pulling his dog under the table. Another guy sat at the bar and ever so often his dog would stand up with his paws on the bar. read more
This was our first time here, and I have to say I really enjoyed the place. The bar looked amazing, and I'll definitely need to come back to experience it. We came for brunch, and I ordered the eggs Benedict, which were delicious. You can tell a lot about a place by how well they poach an egg, and they did a great job. One of the only places uptown with a kitchen open past midnight!! I thoroughly enjoyed my Buffalo chicken sandwich and Watermelon-Basil margarita. Great atmosphere and good customer service as well. Apparently happy hour is all day on Mondays. Woohoo! I'll be back. read more

The steak frites was an excellent choice--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Brussels sprouts had a bit of a spicy side than I expected, but they were so delicious that I couldn't stop eating them. Overall, a fantastic meal that I'd happily order again read more

Made a reservation just in case and glad we did. The atmosphere is fun on a Sunday early afternoon with live music. We were seated right away and greeted by our wonderful server. She was attentive and friendly. Offered good suggestions. Our orI had the eggs Benedict and it was amazing! The best I've ever had. The hollandaise was delicious and the eggs were perfectly poached. My significant other had the Hangover. It was a very hefty portion. The Hawaiian Roll bun added an extra boost. The Bacon Bloody Mary was good. - the bacon wasn't inside the bloody so it stayed crispy. All and all this place was awesome! read more

me and my girlfriend came here late at night for some food. We tried the pretzel and it had way too much salt 0/10 disgusting, tooooooo salty... We also tried the lobster ravioli, which was one of the best fucking raviolis I have ever had to date. I don't think it gets any better than that. 10/10 I also ordered the bacon burger, which was pretty solid. It didn't taste like it was made on the grill. It tasted like it was made on the stove, but it was still pretty good. They cooked it very well. 10/10 amazing service , and it looked pretty nice inside great atmosphere. Came in on St Pattys Day and weee seated immediately. Liked the ambiance of the place and that they offer outdoor seating. Chicken tenders (spicy): 7/10 while the portion size was huge, these were not spicy at all. Steak frites: 6.5/10 steak wasn't cooked as requested but enjoyed the French fries. Beef tenderloin sandwich: 7/10 flavor was good but wish the meat was cooked medium well. I asked for that but it was more red than I would've preferred. Enjoyed the fries and the bbq sauce. read more

Had a wonderful time here during happy hour! The happy hour is everyday, even Sunday! The drinks were cheap and well-made. The best snack was the bruschetta! The hummus was below average so I would recommend passing on that. I really loved the outdoor seating and the staff was extremely kind! read more
I came here for happy hour after work on a Monday (Happy Hour deal all day Monday). Their happy hour deal is crazy. $6 and $7 cocktails!! I got the Clover Club and it was great. My friend and I also split spinach and artichoke dip, which came in a huge bread bowl. Everything really is bigger in Texas! This place has a great vibe, it's hip for all walks of life and that is what you'll see here. People at the bar fully tatted and those in golf prep enjoying bourbon and craft cocktails together. Come hungry or be prepared to take food home, portions are huge! Although we did learn on a second visit that you can order their famous chicken tenders by the tender, you don't have to get a full order! Game changer! They are for sure really good at frying chicken. Mac and cheese was fine but by no means life changing. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive when you wanted them. It is a popular place so it does get crowded. There is a pay lot for parking out back or street parking. read more

We came across The Standard Pour after visiting Parliament. It included a late night menu with low couch seats (not my preferred type if eating but great for chilling). Food: I didn't want to eat too heavy so I had the spinach dip which was pretty delicious! My friend had the burger and fries and said he enjoyed it. Service: I wish I remembered her name but she was EXCELLENT! Honestly the best service I have had in awhile. She checked on us continuously to confirm everything was good and we never went without our drinks not being filled! Overall: I recommend! Would love to come back and try their brunch! read more
