Went here on a Friday night with a group of around 8 and was pretty nice! The have some larger tables to accommodate larger parties, and the music they play is nice lol. Their mixed drinks are good, the frozen rose was a bit too strong for my taste. We also got the mac and cheese and chicken tenders. I loved using the sourdough to dip instead of the chips. The standard was just a standard breakfast. For the cheesy eggs, I did expect the cheese to be melted in the eggs, not just put on top as an after thought. Sausage and bacon good as always. Surprise was how much I liked the waffles. Stopped by randomly on a Friday evening and it was so busy! Was by myself and eventually found a spot at the bar. Ordered the salmon and a couple of lemon drop martinis. The ambiance was very lively, and it seems like this is a nice spot to mingle and meet other people. The drinks were good, but I wasn't too keen on the salmon as it was pretty garlicky/salty. The Standard Pour was a treat. After leaving a concert late on Sunday evening, we were hungry and not ready to go home. Open seating was great. Within 5 minutes we had water brought to our table and placed our food orders. The chicken tenders were finger licking good, like I was literally shocked at how flavorful they were. The fries were decent as well. My friend ordered the burger and fries which she enjoyed as well. I ordered some fruity drink with vodka and it was strong but tasty. Margarita was good. The Standard Pour really surprised me! I came on a Tuesday night around 630pm (happy hour is 5-7) and ordered a drink and an entree. I got the peach bourbon drink that was $7 and the lobster ravioli. The drink was pretty good for the HH price but nothing amazing. The lobster ravioli on the other hand was delicious! The cream sauce was top tier - haven't had a better sauce in the city. A few notes though - I personally don't care for ravioli but my waiter told me next time I can choose a different pasta. I find that the ravioli stuffing isn't really seasoned and ricotta can be grainy. The grilled lobster tail that it's served with tasted fine but it was kind of hard to bite/cut through. The vibe was casual.. a mix between a sports bar and a cocktail bar. Now this isn't a knock to the standard pour but parking in this neighborhood is TOUGH. The lot next door is $25 but there's a free garage down the street near Parliament as well as street parking. read more

Chicken tenders (spicy): 7/10 while the portion size was huge, these were not spicy at all. Steak frites: 6.5/10 steak wasn't cooked as requested but enjoyed the French fries. Beef tenderloin sandwich: 7/10 flavor was good but wish the meat was cooked medium well. I asked for that but it was more red than I would've preferred. First I generally only leave yelp reviews for excellent experiences, however just needed to make a clear statement because this was such a poor experience for our entire family of 6. First 1/2 the party who lives in the Dallas Uptown area arrived with the restaurant/bar 25% at most occupied and were seated facing the front door with (2) seats on a couch that you could not use the table to eat off because the couch was worn and too low. They asked for alternate location and the Manager said the other options were reserved. We arrive 10m later asked the manager to move again, he replied the same. When our food arrived we asked again because the "reserved" tables were still empty and the manager again said the same thing- - horrible experience due to POOR MANAGEMENT. Please note our server was excellent working the room by herself with minimal help from the Manager and (2) other bartenders...again just POOR Manager and Management. Food/drinks not good enough to consider a return with all the other BETTER options in the area. Server Girl, go work somewhere else where management understands the value of a good employee and better customer service. read more
