Parliament posted their rainy-day happy hour on Instagram the same day I visited, so I was surprised when the tall bartender with glasses told me the special only applied if it was actively raining at that exact moment. He literally told me, "If a drop of rain comes, then I'll give it to you." It had rained for much of the day, and multiple customers were asking about the same promotion. If the requirement is that rain must physically be falling while you order, that needs to be clearly stated in the advertisement. Otherwise, the promotion feels misleading. I've been to Parliament several times and have never had a bartender interpret the rainy-day happy hour this way. I ended up ordering a smoked Old Fashioned from another bartender I've had before, and it was great. He was friendly, engaging, had great energy, and even did tricks while making the drink. I still enjoyed my cocktail, but it would've been nice to have the option to order from the happy-hour menu as advertised that day. I'm including the Instagram post for reference. I'm very disappointed as I've never not had a good time at Parliament. I really think that the owner should look at the Times stamps around 930 to 10:15pm part night and see the difference of business and traffic flow from when the taller bartender with the glasses versus the shorter Bartender with the glasses was at the front as it was instantly more business. Overall: 2.6/5 [dine in] The place is nice, but smaller than expected. They had bubble guns too, which was a fun surprise. We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here. read more

I love this place! The staff are always friendly and able to make some harder or lesser known drinks. I took my bartender brother here and he loved it, he wants to come back every time he visits. It gets busy so it can be hard to find a place to sit, but not impossible. When I got engaged this was our after party spot and the staff brought us shots to celebrate! Love coming here and would recommend. The only thing is that there is this smell, I don't know if it's cleaning products, but it seems like it's stronger every time I go. The inside has a cool vibe & I love the decor! But it is super tiny and difficult to get a seat on busy nights. The outdoor patio is also small. Be prepared to stand around. They have a huge drink menu with something for everyone's taste. There are several drinks that come with a show, but you need to ask the bartender which ones they are because it's not indicated on the menu. The drinks are expensive, but delicious. We came during the week when they have drink specials and it was super packed. But remember, drink specials also bring in the lower class crowd, and it was just not my scene. I even had one girl be extremely rude when I was about to offer her a seat. She had an entitled attitude, saying since my friend wasn't sitting there. she's going to sit there. And I was in the middle of telling her she can have the seat. We left after that because I don't do toxic, drama, or negativity. Came here on a Friday night with my girlfriend to have a quick few drinks before a concert. It's a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be inside, but the space is very well decorated. The speciality drinks were delicious albeit a little pricey, and the service from the bartenders was fantastic. There's not a lot of room for socializing and small chance of finding open seating if you are coming with a larger group, so that would be my only reluctance towards coming here, if I was grabbing a drink with 4 or more people. Really vibey cocktail bar! Went for happy hour on Monday and the drinks and prices were to die for. It's hard to come by a $6-$7 drink nowadays so this is truly a gem. We tried the gimlet, bees knees, Moscow mule, and a mai tai all of which were delicious. Tables and seating are first come first serve, but if you have a party of 4-5 they really do their best to get you seated asap. The overall vibe of the servers bartenders, and people are all very upscale and everyone definitely dresses up for cocktail hour. I've had this place on my list of bars to visit for yearsssss. Finally moved back to the DFW area and had a chance to visit on September 13th. The bar itself was great and the ambiance was awesome. omg, what a gem!! first and foremost, HAPPY HOUR UNTIL 8, with classic drinks from $6-7. my peach smash was delicious and both were fairly strong. there is a lovely covered patio which makes this place an all-weather retreat (though the fans could be stronger) and the inside is moody and intimate. waitress was cordial and the drinks came out promptly. crowd was diverse and generally young and cute. i like that they have a dress code and NO SCREENS, really elevated the energy of the place! greatttt date or girls night spot. and most importantly, one of the latest happy hours in the city!! read more

The area is small and they do not service any food or snacks so either eat before you go OR have a few cocktails before dinner. It is located in the heart of uptown situated in a residential area so be cognizant of that as far as parking. Again, the space is very limited but it's such a good time. OK, this has got to be one of my favorite cocktail bars I've ever been to, definitely in top five or top 10. I was so happy I went to the spot after a bartender had recommended it. They make the best drinks and each one has a whole presentation to it. The bartenders are super friendly and make you feel really welcome. They even gave us free shots that came in this little treasure chest and when you open it up and it's smoky inside. It was just a whole vibe! Also, to top it off the music they were playing was so on point. The spot has such a cute, cozy vibe. It is a bit small but it's intimate and overall had a great time.
