This was a hidden gem when we came here the night before we left Dallas. Our waitress was awesome! We ate a lot of bar foods and the drinks were delicious that night. The views were awesome as well, we will be coming back in the future!

We sat outside and enjoyed an amazing sunset! After about an hour, the place got PACKED and service definitely declined, which is understandable. It wasn't amazing to begin with, but that's okay. While overpriced, the food and drinks are good. Overall, not a bad spot to hangout when the weather is nice.

OK spot on top of the Canopy Hilton Hotel. Limited bar. Big bourbon selection, but very little by way of other alcohol. They were out of all but 2 drafts while I was there. Limited wine selection as well. The mark up was also pretty high for wine (the Pinot I got was ~$17 per glass and the bottle retails in the store for $16-17). Bartender was nice. Skip the food. The menu is pretty limited to begin with (all apps), but nothing is really standout. Last time I went in there, it was for an after dinner drink and I got the affogato dessert. Espresso shot was definitely Nespresso from one of the hotel rooms. The candied pecans on top could crack a tooth

I met a friend for late night drink/snack to catch up and visit. What a nice relaxing place! Nice comfortable seating, view of downtown, just so nice! Waitress attentive and no hovering:) the drinks were refreshing and good. We ordered the Charcuterie Board and Tandoori Chicken bites Nice place to unwind after a long day

Perfect evening and great views of downtown Dallas

Best views of the city and great service. We shared several of the small plates and had cocktails and beers on the rooftop terrace. Great ambience and wonderful sunset and city lights views. Food was good and our drinks were very good. Our server was fantastic! Definitely a great place for catching up with friends when Uptown.

So there's the thing, if you go here, you're going for the view. You're not going for the food or drinks. They will be subpar for high caliber prices. The service is typically slow & it's common for them to be out of certain wines & beers. But this place easily has one of the best views of the Dallas skyline. It usually isn't crowded & is perfect to upgrade your instagram. In conclusion, this place is great for a casual, aesthetic drink before or after dinner.

Espresso martini

Great place great bartenders that will make you anything that you would like, a great place for relaxation a great place to be inside or outside enjoying the city and you can see the surrounding areas from the rooftop, great music, just relaxing to yourself

View is perfectly amazing at sunset! The ambiance has the the opportunity to be a great spot! Unfortunately, the service is less than you'd expect for a date location or upscale service. Waiting more than 15 minutes for drinks seems off for a bar that wasn't even half full. Do better or change your name to downside.

Favorite rooftop in town. Love the downtown view. Nice place for a drink and a small bite. Everything is open seating so service can be hit or miss but you can always just go to the bar.

Yvonne de carlo

Vibes and views are immaculate! Especially at sunset. I got the Yvonne de carlo, which was a little watery but strong. The other pink drink was tok watery. Flatbread was a nice accompaniment and not too expensive.

Great and cozy upstairs bar area and patio, staff is very nice, friendly and attentive. Shakina and Stephanie at the bar were delightful and so helpful. ~ Views are spectacular of downtown Dallas. This is a nice spot to have a drink and a appetizer while enjoying the views and a conversation. This place is hard to find in the listings because it is classified as a bar but they have plenty of shareable plates. (This is situated on the 8th floor of the Canopy by Hilton and has a dedicated elevator behind the wall of the hotel desk.) ~ For sure this is a nice spot in the heart of Cityplace!

Mojito

Eli and Oscar were so fun! They make the best cocktails and have great conversation! Eli's mojito was made with fresh limes and mint the flavor blew me away! Would love to come back!

James and his teammate were AWESOME! Prompt, kind & attentive. I was there with two friends on Sunday and they provided the kind of service you wish you got everywhere! Flatbread was good! Thank you for a great afternoon!

"Such a cool spot for sunset drinks. The panoramic views are legit. Drinks are a bit pricey but the vibe makes up for it. Would go back.

There is no respect for the line whatsoever, and large groups of people are just consistently let in before those standing in line. Given the fact that this is more of a cocktail bar than a club, this is highly abnormal. That being said, it's easily one of the most pretentious places for nightlife in Dallas. Would definitely seek out another location if you would simply like a fun night out. Monkey Bar next door is a fantastic alternative.

One person in our party asked the waitress for a drink recommendation only to be brought out a totally different drink that did not live up to the hype. We ordered several appetizers and a few sushi rolls. We contemplated dessert at one point but were convinced otherwise when one roll never made it to our table & it took several minutes after we were done with our meal for our waitress to check in with us again. We ultimately decided to just ask for our check and to our surprise, some of the things we ordered were never noted on the bill-- great, but what a bummer of an experience for our first time. Whatever food made it out to our table was good and it came out in a timely fashion. Ambiance seemed to have more of a "clubish" feel with a DJ set up in a corner and the scene becoming more lively as the night went on. I've read a lot of other reviews for this business that have confirmed my doubts. It seems like Lounge 31 has potential to return to what it once was. Perhaps giving it another chance in the future may bring promising new perspective.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us and seated us at the table we had reserved in the Leopard Room. Initially, we were placed at a small half table along the wall. We asked if it was possible to move, and they happily accommodated us. That particular table felt a bit awkward for conversation since you can barely face the person across from you. It might work better for someone sitting alone and people watching rather than having a full conversation. Service throughout the night was great. The staff checked in regularly without being intrusive and made sure we always had what we needed. For drinks, I would say they were just okay. They were not bad, but they also were not particularly memorable. Given the speakeasy concept, I expected a bit more creativity in both flavor and presentation. We ordered the Melting Clock Elixir, Persistence of Berries, Cotton Candy Cloud, and the Surrealist 75. As the night went on, the space became much more crowded and louder once the DJ started playing. If you are hoping to have a relaxed conversation and catch up with friends, this might not be the best spot later in the evening.
