This is one of those places that gets everything right. Located in the Harwood District near the American Airlines Center, it has become our go-to destination for watching sports in downtown Dallas. While there are plenty of sports bars in the area, this one stands out by combining a great atmosphere, quality food, and outstanding service into one complete package. One of the first things worth mentioning is the valet service. We absolutely love it. Parking downtown can sometimes be a hassle, but the valet makes arriving and leaving effortless and sets a positive tone for the entire experience. The atmosphere is what every sports fan hopes for. There is a giant screen that commands attention, along with multiple TVs throughout the venue, including the outdoor yard area. No matter where you're seated, you'll have a great view of the game. Speaking of seating, the variety is impressive. There are indoor and outdoor options, bar seating, upstairs seating, barrel booths, high-tops, low-tops, and even more private areas tucked behind decorative chain screens. Whether you're meeting friends, bringing family, or hosting a larger group, there's a space that fits. Service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Water was brought to the table immediately, and the staff remained friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. The menu goes well beyond typical sports bar fare. In addition to a full bar, there are appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrées, and plenty of sides. We ordered the cheesesteak, which was loaded with cheese, grilled onions, and peppers on a perfectly toasted bun. The side salad was fresh and crisp with mixed greens, shredded carrots, and cucumbers, lightly dressed and served with extra dressing on the side. What really separates this venue from many others is that it doesn't feel like an over-engineered chain restaurant. In fact, I prefer it to Texas Live. The food is better, the drink options are stronger, and the overall experience feels more authentic and enjoyable. Overall, this place delivers the complete package: a fantastic sports-watching atmosphere, quality food and drinks, excellent service, and convenient parking. I came here to watch fifa game, and this waitress was so rude because we refused to make our order right. Never seen this before. A few of my friends and I went to Happiest Hour as a part of the World Cup Bar Crawl and we had a great time. I knew there was valet beforehand but for whatever reason I parked at the Tom Thumb nearby which offered complimentary parking (for two hours I believe?) if you buy something. That was certainly not enough time. In retrospect, I should have used the valet - after reading the reviews here, apparently they have great service and are very reliable. Since it was a gameday, it was definitely packed inside. We were quickly seated though. Quickly, in terms of service, our waiter was great. It was clear he was putting in effort and being nice to all of his tables. The issue, however, was that he was severely stretched thin. I remember looking around for him and I swear I saw him taking care of customers on the other side of the restaurant. For food, I got a house salad to start. I decided to be healthy today. Unfortunately, a salad at a sports-focused establishment may not have been the best idea. The majority of the lettuce was wilted and not fresh. The dressing provided some nice tang but couldn't offset the texture of the veggies. The chilaquiles on the brunch menu, on the other hand, were good. The chips were still a bit crunchy and was the perfect bed for all of the toppings. I definitely recommend it. My youngest son and I were going to a Dallas Mavericks game at American Airlines Center and wanted something to eat prior to the game. We arrived around 540 on a Saturday night and were able to get a seat immediately. I was happy to get a table (since my son is a minor) and there were some groups dressed very well and us in NBA gear for the game. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I had a Shiner Draft and the Blackened Chicken Pasta. My youngest son had a cheesesteak. Both of our meals came out very quickly and were very tasty. Wow! I haven't been here since thanksgiving 2021 and didn't have a good experience. The "big game" on Saturday was the complete opposite. Five stars from the servers to the bartenders, from the set up with dozens of TVs to watch the game to the food/beverages. Next time we are trying the super nachos...$60, but could feed 6 peeps! Trying to reserve a large group event here was incredibly frustrating. I contacted their management over 1 month out to reserve the space and food. Received an email that they would reach out in 1 business days. After radio silence 9 days later I tried calling their business numbers during business hours. No one answered after calling on 3 different days and leaving voicemails. I then called their main restaurant line where their hostess answered. I explained the situation and they offered to write my name down and forward it to their Management. I did this twice on two different days with no response back. I left a comment on the inquiry portal that is autogenerated when I first filled out the online form. No response. They finally responded 5 days before my event and by then I had looked elsewhere. Just know it will be busy on peak days/times and sometimes there is a wait for a table or a fight for a place at the bar. Service here was absolutely fantastic. Our server was very kind and attentive. We got the calamari and shrimp as an appetizer and it was very tasty. The sauce they serve with it is so good! Came here whilst in town and surely wish I didn't, and by the way we were treated, they didn't want us there either. We waited over 15 minutes for a waiter to come over, and another 10 minutes just for water, once we flagged down someone to get our waiter. We then had to flag down the waiter so we can begin ordering food, when we needed utensils that they forgot to provide, we even had to flag down and wait for the check and it wasn't busy. We tried this place recently for a happy hour and had a good experience. The place is massive with seating inside, outside on the patio, and on the rooftop. It was 90+ degrees, so we sat in the bar area at a table. They have great happy hour specials with half-off appetizers and cocktails. We tried the dip trio as an appetizer. TDLR: If you're thinking of booking a table or traveling in for an event here -- don't. The venue looks fun from the outside, but behind the scenes it's disorganized, dismissive, and clearly prioritizes squeezing money over treating guests fairly. My group traveled from Oklahoma specifically for the OU vs TX tailgate on Oct 11. We bought tickets in advance, arrived early and confirmed with a server that outdoor tables were first-come, first-served. We sat, ordered $130 in food & drinks -- then suddenly a security guard showed up and told us to leave immediately. We were forced to throw away half our food and drinks because they sold our table to someone. When we asked for help, the manager was dismissive and kept saying "nothing I can do" -- until one of us finally asked if we needed to pay double just to be allowed to stay. Only then did anyone treat us with basic respect. We ended up paying $300 for a table ($75/person) -- and even after paying extra, service was terrible. Our food didn't fully arrive until after the game ended, our $10 drinks were never delivered but still charged, and water stations were empty for hours at a hot, crowded drinking event. In total we spent over $540 just to be kicked around, ignored, and upsold. I have tried privately contacting the venue multiple times to resolve this -- no response. Fun atmosphere means nothing if the staff and management treat paying customers like an inconvenience. Won't be returning, and I'd warn anyone traveling in for an event here to think twice. Edit: I spoke with a manager after posting this review. He acknowledged we were double charged (table and events tickets), but said he couldn't refund the tickets. He told me to contact corporate yet couldn't say who or how. After talking we only received $34 back for missing drinks -- nowhere close to what's fair after being overcharged, dismissed, and misrepresented publicly. read more

We stopped here for dinner after a day of fun events for my son's birthday. Service was amazing, atmosphere was great, food tasted really good. The friend cauliflower was amazing, the dumpwings were delicious, burgers and flatbread were a hit, Cesar salad was yummy, and the salmon tasted good, but clearly it wasn't. Brownie was really good too. Unfortunately, 4 out of the six of us had the salmon and got incredibly sick the next day. I opted for them tossed in lemon pepper and paired them with their homemade chick-fil-a sauce. ( The sauce is banging !!! I should have asked for a bottle to go) Additionally, I was undecided on a drink, so I informed Marcus that I wanted something fruit-forward with gin. I politely asked the hostess, Julia, if we could sit in the couch seating area (husband has a hurt back) and was told no because they were holding it for larger parties. I asked again, kindly, if she could please check one more time, and the answer was still no. That seating area ended up sitting empty for about 1.5 hours, along with several other tables, which was disappointing. We went to Happiest Hour today Sunday 10/13. Once I got my bill I noticed they had overcharged me for everything on the menu. I asked the waitress about it and she said she wasn't sure why that happened and would check on it for me. We waited a couple minutes, but I decided I would just let the hostesses know on the way out. They called the manager over who informed me that everything was surcharged for Texas/OU game. I asked her to clarify, as the game was yesterday. And she said yes even today. This made no sense to me as my waiter was clearly unaware of this "Standard Event Surcharge". Doing research afterwards this is listed absolutely no where. And no one in the restaurant seemed to be aware of this other than the manager. The hostess and waitress both claimed to not know why I was overcharged. I am attaching the picture of their Texas/OU sign and website. No where does it say this.
