Decent food, tasty drinks, and good service! Also really like their holiday decorations! We always have a good time at Harwood Arms, from game days to night outs, the vibe is great! The food is pretty good and hearty and the drinks are delicious! Would recommend!

I ended up here by sheer accident and it turned out to be the best way to end my night. My Fiance and I were greeted at the door by the most kind bouncer that we've ever met, Will. I came in looking for my keys, and he immediately jumped into action mode and said "we'll figure this out together". He grabbed his manager, Alicia, who was also so kind and helpful. They both went above and beyond to help me solve a problem that wasn't theirs. So once we recovered the keys, we figured we might as well stay and try some food! We got the garlic fries because they smelled phenomenal and they were great. The bartender who served us was also awesome. He was so quick and looked like he was making a mean drink for whoever ordered! We plan to return to try the fish and chips as they were sold out yesterday. Overall, we enjoyed the customer service here and the vibe was on point! Very spacious place with several booths for privacy. The prices on the menu were reasonable as well. We will definitely be back.

Wow what a neat concept ! I felt like I was stepping right back into a pub in Scotland from a trip I took once . Lots of great private seating and even a large outside patio. The staff was just right , checked in us often enough but didn't hover over us. The food was also delish. We tried the grinch dip off the holiday menu (spinach dip and pita) it was a large serving too! Tasted fresh(maybe a tad more pitas next time since the serving was so large)! It was a cold night so I took advantage of that and got the beef and barley soup .. it was also a nice size and fresh and tasty. Hubs got the fish and chips- it came with sauces and a cute bottle vinegar. He loved them(I stole a Few chips and they are fresh and made in house) We had a cocktail as well. They both were delicious and had a good pour in them I can't wait to go back and explore more in this area! Add it to the Love List!

Great environment. It was Christmas theme so that was nice. Loved the live band. Went with a big group so they were able to accommodate us. Food wise, I had the burger and it was a solid burger, nothing special. The garlic fries were incredible. Our waiter was a little rude. I'm giving a generous 4 stars. Given the option, this would be closer to a 3.5-3.8 star but still worthy of coming here. Would come back to try Fish and chips.

A gem of a pub experience right in the heart of Dallas. We popped in from shopping and this was such a great experience. Fun holiday decorations to get you in the spirit. The fish and chips and beers were amazing and I really felt like I was in a proper British pub. Will definitely go back soon!

I drove 20+ miles to come to Harwood Arms for their Tuesday Trivia night that they falsely advertised on their website. Not only did they not have trivia tonight, they weren't even open. I pulled up to the restaurant and found it was completely closed. Thanks for wasting my time Harwood Arms.

Stopped by for a quick drink and bite! Delicious cucumber gimlet and to die for twice baked potato bites were delicious!!!! Service was good! The Christmas spirit was out, as it was fully decorated for the holidays! Can't wait to come back and try it for all courses!

I love this place. The drinks are stiff, the staff is amazing the crowd is always friendly and Gabby is one of the most friendly bat tenders I've ever met, plus the Shepards Pie is pretty delicious and they have a few of my favorite Tequilas, Lalo and El Tesoro!

Fish and chips

Came here for Easter lunch/brunch with a friend. We're both Irish and were excited to see sausage rolls on the menu--only to be served kolaches instead, which are definitely not the same thing. Disappointed but still hopeful, I ordered the fish and chips. While the fish itself looked and tasted good, the "chips" were really just over-seasoned, thinly sliced potatoes--more like American-style chips, not the traditional thick-cut chips that should have come with the dish. Overall, a letdown.

Went here last night because we heard it was decorated for Christmas and you bet it was! The outside looked amazing and really made you feel like you were in a different country in a pub in the snow. The inside was also decked out amazingly. 10/10 did not disappoint. Our service was great. We were on the waitlist for under the amount of time the hostess told us and and waitress was attentive and nice! When you walk in, not only are you in awe of the Christmas decorations, but of how AMAZING it smells in there. I knew instantly it was going to be a good place for dinner since it smelled so incredible. I got the Patty Melt and it was great! The fries were amazing. I'm not a fan of skinny fries but the seasoning on them was incredible. My patty welt was huge and tasted just like I was expecting. Was also very flavorful. My friend got the fish and chips and said it was great as well, and the fry "chips" were great. Presentation wise the food looked amazing as well. The reason it loses a star is for our "Christmas" drinks. We ordered a "polar bear espresso martini" off the special holiday menu and I was so excited for it to be Christmassy in some way. Sadly, there was no "polar bear" aspect to it. We saw other drinks come in fun Christmas cups etc but sadly ours did not. This was my first time getting an espresso martini and it was also just horrible. There was no cream to it whatsoever which I heard it is supposed to have. I was pretty bummed since it tasted like straight vodka and coffee which I could have made at home and spared the very steep $16. All in all, food and decoration wise, this place is amazing! Definitely come for the Christmas time. But beware of the polar bear espresso martini, as it is neither Christmassy nor enjoyable to drink.

Ambiance was great, felt like a true historic UK pub. Service was wonderful and the drinks are awesome!

GARLIC FRIES with lots of extra

Great British food. Very reasonable prices in a classic style pub. Huge portions. Surprised it is not more popular.

WARM PRETZELS

Came here for a friends birthday. Prior to everyone else arriving, we got a table for two to get some a food. The loaded potato skins were really good. The pretzels were interesting because they were deep fried. The sauce they came with helped balance them. When everyone else arrived, we waited for a larger table. This was a great idea. We ended up with a booth and a spot where people could come and go from. I will say this place is VERY loud and the line outside after the band started was long. Additionally, everything seemed expensive for what you got. It was $11 for a Tito's drink and our dinner of two apps and two drinks each was $80. We easily spent a lot of money here for an evening out but we were amount good company. The womens restroom only has two stalls so when the band stops performing prepare for a long wait.

Great place, but there is bouncer with long hair that is very rude to everyone. He would yell at people to move in a non polite way.

We got a cheeseboard, but if I had to recommend one thing, definitely the fried mushrooms if you like mushrooms. They're huge and the spicy cilantro sour cream sauce is killer! We sat in the indoor/outdoor area, which was my fave. It can take a minute to flag someone down when it's busy, but that felt understandable for how busy they were. Easy place to settle into and lose track of time a bit--just drinks, conversation, and good food without overthinking it.

The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.
