We stopped in during the World Cup match because everywhere else nearby was at capacity. A bar table had just opened up, so we sat down. A server immediately came over and yelled "nice try, get up, I do all the seating around here." Then he sarcastically asked "ever heard of a reservation?" This was the bar area, and we watched people walking in looking for open seats the whole time, so that made no sense. I was so caught off guard that all I said was "oh." He then said "why are you looking at me like that?" I told him "because you didn't have to yell at me." I asked for his name, which apparently set him off further. Instead of just answering, he snapped "I already know what you're going to do" before finally telling me it was Eddie. Then he called me "high maintenance" and said "get out of my bar". The guests around us looked as stunned as we were, including the women waiting behind him to be seated. Before we left, I verified his name with another server, and Eddie yelled at us for doing that, too. Then we walked straight out. I later learned the owner of this bar is named Eddie. If that is who screamed at us, then there is no manager to complain to and no reason to expect anything to change. This was our second visit. The food the first time was honestly bad, but we gave it another chance since everywhere else was full. Now I understand why this place had open tables on a game day. It was also uncomfortably hot inside, the AC did not seem to be working. No customer should be screamed at for sitting at an empty table. Disappointing visit overall. Very busy area and parking is tough. Plan ahead. Thankfully, we had made a reservation specifically to check out the ladies dinner that they purportedly have on Wednesday evenings. Unfortunately, our server, who took a long time to greet our table, informed us they decided not to have it this Wednesday because of the soccer game playing on the television. Hmmm... Not the best start. We stayed for drinks and snacks. The fried green beans were decent and the ranch was tasty. We ordered the Mac Daddy flatbread, with the following description: American cheese sauce, garlic, shallot, hatch chile, sausage, bacon, mozzarella, sriracha drizzle. Y'all. Nowhere in the description does it include PASTA in the description or tell the reader it's essentially their cavatappi dish on top of flatbread. We did not expect that, but we will try anything. Sadly, the pasta was dry, making for on unappetizing situation, despite the flavor probably being okay-ish. Our food came out pretty quickly, but our server was inattentive/largely absent and seemed to have a bit of an attitude when we had to ask another server for assistance since ours was missing in action for long stretches. The young man who was filling the water and bussing tables was stellar and on point, and I wish our tip would have gone straight to him, versus our lackluster server. read more

Absolutely loved my visit here! The uptown if today is nothing like it was a few years to a decade ago. People are friendly and service is great. I visited for the ladies supperclub and was provided exceptional service by Shania and excellent hosting from Michelle. Seriously, both ladies were the best, super kind and helpful. Fantastic spot for Happy Hour with delicious bites! I stopped by TABC with some friends for happy hour and enjoyed my experience! Food came out lightening fast and all the servers were very attentive. We ordered the Elote Arancini, Fries, and Queso & Friends. The Arancini was super crispy and flavorful! The Queso was also rich and creamy. We enjoyed all of the apps! Only reason I took off a star is that I ordered a Shirley Temple and the soda was super flat and watered down. First experience was okay, but they were supposed to close at midnight but lights were on and music was off by 11:20. Tried going on Sunday, google says the close at midnight. We got there at 10:45, music was off and the manager or bartender said, we close in 15. Just close your doors early if you don't want the late business!!! The food is good, the service is good, the ambiance is decent--it can get a little loud inside, but the patio is always a good place to sit, it's a great outdoor patio, especially for Dallas. This place was already one of my favorite dinner & drinks spots in the city, but after my Saturday morning experience it now might be my favorite brunch spot in Dallas as well. Food was top notch, I had the B.E.L.T. and my girlfriend had the skillet quiche, and we couldn't say better things about both. Service was also incredible. I am getting dinner and drinks with friends tonight, and order the steak frites, subbing the fried gnocchi with regular fries. Before being served my meal, the owner came out acknowledging that they over cooked the steak, offering a free meal, but also sending over free shots. I think this location has turned over restaurants more than any other prime real estate in Dallas metroplex. Thomas Ave seems to be the first ones that are going to stay for a while. Higher end cocktails and quality food. The newly build porch is nice. No complaints with the service. Inside atmosphere differs slightly from the porch but wouldn't mind sitting either, weather permitting. Had no problems with my experience and looking forward to next time I'm there. read more

I got the frozen margarita with sangria which was too sweet, the ranch water which had wayyy too much lime that it hurt your throat, and the skinny margarita which tasted like sweet and sour only. Food wise I got the margarita pizza and the pork sliders which were great. The service was also polite.
