Super busy on a Saturday night, but the part of town that it is in is nice. They do validate parking, huge plus because it can get expensive. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table of two, but it was okay because we walked and explored in the area. There were good options overall for me as a vegetarian and my friend who eats meat. However, the portion sizes are pretty small for the prices. He truly enjoyed his chicken and beans with rice. I thought that my falafel with curried cauliflower and golden rice was good, but nothing special. Again, the portions were quite small and I found the dish to be dry, so I ordered a side of lemon dill yogurt. The drinks, although I did not try them, looked good enough to make me want to come back for them. Service was good as the waiters were attentive to our needs. Interior was dark and rustic, good night time vibes.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! My friend and I didn't get full meals here as we wanted to bar hop along this street, and HG Sply was our first stop. The food was so balanced and taste was amazing! Drinks were also really good and strong. Service was also super friendly and attentive. They also have a really nice rooftop bar area with lors of seating and fans/shading if needed. We were here during the World Cup, and there were also so many TV's available for everyone to get a good view. I need to try more of their menu, and I would absolutely come back to Dallas just for this place :)
Food: I had the Campfire Skewers with Garlic Parm Chicken, with Golden Rice and Zucchini & Squash as my sides, and my partner had the Ahi Tuna Poke, with Street Corn on the side. We both really enjoyed our respective dishes! My chicken was cooked perfectly and married well with the Garlic Aioli and White BBQ housemade sauces that came on the side, and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. Left full and satisfied! Service: A+! Our server had a bubbly demeanor and was well versed with the menu. We took her up on her recommendations, and they ended up being *chefs kiss*. Also, she brought out a fly repellant, unprompted, after acknowledging the stubborn one at our table. Also, other people checked in on us as well--definitely felt attended to. Ambiance: Casual, modern, industrial. Parking: Street parking is available.
My boyfriend and I went to HG Sply on a Friday night for dinner and loved every second of our experience. We didn't have to wait for a table and sat right in front of the restaurant. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich and it was AMAZING. It came with so many fries, I let my boyfriend have half and I was still so full. I loved sipping on the froze for my cocktail which was light and refreshing while it was hot outside. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often. I enjoyed sitting outside as inside looked busy and louder. I loved seeing everyone walk by in lower Greenville.

Before heading out to Netflix House, we grabbed some lunch at HG Sply. They are very vegan and gluten friendly. We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly and got us started with water immediately. My wife informed her of the food allergies and informed us that whatever he is interested in, she will let us know if he can have it or if they are able to modify it. I ordered the Deviled Avocado (their play on the Deviled Egg). First it looked so cool and the avocado was the base and instead of the creamy egg it was a chick pea cream with some salt and seasoning. It was topped with onion straws. OMG it was really good. I really loved it and the texture was similar to deviled egg. For my main dish, I got a fresh kale salad with ranch dressing. It also had chick peas croutons. The ranch was light and very good. The kale was crisp and the chickpea croutons were unique and crispy. It was large enough for two. I also ordered a side of fresh cut fries which were cut thin. It was crispy and lightly salted. I can't skip in ordering fries especially if they look good. And looks matched the taste. The service was great and she kept checking on us. She knew every ingredient of all the dishes we asked about. It was amazing ! We will be back when we are back in Dallas.
Was recommended by another bartender for the live atmosphere and rooftop! There were lots of TVs and tables to sit and watch the World Cup games or look at the city. I ordered a black berry marg which had a salt rim and lime. This drink was so good with the lime squeezed in! Very refreshing and fruity. My friend ordered the espresso martini which is definitely the best espresso martini I've ever had, the coffee flavor was nice and sweet. The food here I don't think is very worth it though. We ordered salmon tostada which was good but pretty small, and some fries which were very dry. It came with a lot of fries which I guess is good for sharing in large groups. I would come back for the drinks and friendly vibe but not the food. Service was very quick which was nice.
There are lots of great spots on Greenville, but HG Supply is reliably good. I needed to meet at work colleague for lunch and he is vegetarian. He picked this place and both walked out quite satisfied. It was crowded, we did not have a reservation, but they made room for the two of us. Our server took our drink orders quickly. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad and it was great. Crispy and well-seasoned exterior, and super tender inside. Very delicious. We both enjoyed the experience and will be back.
Sat down for dinner this time with a big group. I was so impressed with the service! I personally had to leave the dinner quite early so I asked if I could put in food right away. The waiter said yes and I was surprised by just how quickly it came out. I ordered the salmon poke tostadas as my entree. They were fantastic! I also love the way they handle big checks. There's a QR code on the table and everyone can scan and select their items on the tab to pay. Made it super easy for me to close out my portion of the tab early while everyone else stayed to eat. I really appreciated how streamlined everything was!
I'm always a fan of this HG Sply in Lower Greenville. First of all, the vegan queso is good!! You can get anything on the menu catered to your dietary restrictions which I appreciated. There are tons of gluten free options. I opted for the cauliflower fried rice and added steak. It comes with tons of veggies and a fried egg. I did have to ask for some soy sauce and hot sauce to up the flavor a bit but that was fine. Love the glass Coke bottles, atmosphere, rooftop views, and kind service.
Love this place. My favorite dish was the rib which is no longer on the menu but the new protein additions are great. The drinks are fantastic! If you love a sweet gin, the strawberry smash is great. The portions are a bit smaller than what I'm used to, but it's delicious.
Came for Mother's Day 2026 & it was outstanding. Decided to come back from a list of 6 places, everyone agreed on HG Sply. Best food, best vegan options, nicest servers, best drinks.. Love the toast they did to highlight a new wine. Lighting & noise level is perfect.

Last night was my first visit to an HG-Sply and it did not disappoint, I am enamored. It was such a relief to find so many gluten free options on one menu that actually looked delicious. Here is my overview: 1. Adorable location with lots of shops and bars nearby, parking is available but you might drive around a little if it's during the evening 2. The restaurant is casual but still feels upscale enough to be a date spot 3. I ordered the bun less bison burger, broccoli and cauliflower, which were all packed with flavor. I couldn't finish the veggies, I was just so full but so happy! 4. The sunset cocktail passed out to the entire room was something I have never experienced and was delighted to be a part of. (Just a couple sips only, since my pancreas is not alcohol friendly these days..sigh. 5. The staff. H&G Supply has a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and an overall welcoming vibe, but what really made our visit stand out was the exceptional service from Ava. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. She knew the menu well, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Heard great things about this spot. Unfortunately I ordered the chopped steak and was given a burger patty. Asked about it and they mentioned that is what the chopped steak is. HG Sply offers all natural and farm to table cooking. The flavors and creations for the most part were good but a little overpriced for the outcome. They have an open windows area which allows for pesky flies to fly in. As much as they provided a small table fan it really made the whole dining experience cumbersome with the amount of flies we had to swat at. I even had a fly die right into my margarita! As for the food it was a hit and miss for me. We ordered the following: Crispy Tuna $17 Fried rice topped with yellow fin and drizzled with spicy mayo. I was excited for this because it was first time trying and it seemed to just taste like a tater tot with fresh fish up top. I wasn't a fan. Way overpriced for 3 pieces. Cochinita Nachos $18: a Mexican inspired pulled pork nachos. This was spot on flavor a delivery but not to my liking, however I wouldn't say dont try it my other party members loved it. Bison chili bow $13: great hearty and seasoned chili, was so happy this was my main course. Backyard Burger $16.50: large well seasoned pattied burger with a great helping of French fries (you'll need to add salt and pepper) they do not come seasoned. Farmhouse Grilled chicken $19: came with some measly grilled chicken, mash potatoes made from oat milk (inedible) and the coconut milk rice was a little overwhelming, had to add salsa to help eating this side order. As for my cocktail very tasty and was able to get the happy hour special! Happy I tried it out but the flies and the hit in miss on seasoning was too much for me to return. read more

Dallas location is just as good! We've previously tried their Fort Worth location and decided to try out their Dallas branch for comparison. TLDR; HG does not disappoint. We ordered: * Charrred Campfire Chicken: well seasoned with a Chari note that is just right. It's not overly burnt or anything. We love the fact that it sits on a bed of cabbage and greens which gives a nice refreshing palate cleanser in between bites. * Quinoa Meatballs: the meatballs were seasoned well however, they were a bit on the dryer end. I would have liked the meatballs to be just a little bit more juicier. But the quinoa was done well. *Samlon Tacos: one of our favorites! Salmon poke mixed with refreshing carrots and daikon gives a very unique spin on salmon poke. The taco shells are actually thinly sliced fresh daikon. This was tremendously refreshing! * Ceviche Bowl with chips: a fine choice for a shareable dish. Fairly standard, can't go wrong. No complaints here. Contrary to most of each a bowls, having chips on the side gives a very nice crunchy texture in between bites. The chips felt fresh and we're not stale. All in all, service was superb. We were quickly seated and served. Fair warning, the Dallas location is quite a bit smaller than the Fort Worth counterpart. Fort Worth site is much more spacious with a large patio area. read more

While I appreciate the concept and was very excited to try this place out , I left feeling extremely underwhelmed. We had the crispy tuna, backyard burger, a smoked chicken salad, and finish line juice. The crispy tuna appetizer was good - but tasted a bit too fishy for my liking ( I say this as someone who absolutely adores sushi, nigiri, and sashimi ) . The backyard burger and finish line juice were probably the best out of what we ordered . After a few bites of my smoked chicken salad, I noticed there was no chicken ! lol they promptly made me some chicken and took the salad off the bill - but the salad itself was nothing to write home about . It needed more dressing and was alright at best. Service was great and the ambiance was nice . I like that they have an outdoor patio and a rooftop bar for days with nicer weather - but all in all, I don't see us coming back . read more

When it comes to the restaurant downstairs, it has great vibes for an intimate get to together. Dark lighting and candles make for a very good ambiance. If you are there at sunset, you all get a little wine to toast the day with. It's fun! A great one stop shop too if you want to head upstairs for a great rooftop experience! Thank goodness they updated their menu! They now have a good amount of different types of things to order. Very good move on their part. I got the bison burger with fries and ranch and while I think you get a great amount for what you pay for, I was not impressed. While the burger needed salt, the fries were wayyy too salty. Their ranch is also pretty interesting tasting with a pretty weird after taste and was also way too salty. However, they do have good drinks and you really can't beat the prices on everything. All around, good service, good ambiance, good drinks, and fine food. Maybe mine was a one off. I will definitely come back and try it again. read more

There are so many delicious sounding menu options from starters to sides. We couldn't decide between the avocado hummus or the chips and queso, so our server told us the queso was their most popular with the hummus being her personal favorite. We went with the queso with promises to try the hummus next time. For our drinks, we got an old fashioned and a frozen mule. Both were extremely delish! For our meals we got the stir fry salmon bowl and the bison burger with the gluten free bun. The salmon bowl was cooked perfectly-- even the veggies in it were so flavorful. The bison burger was very rich and well worth it! It was also the best gluten free bun I have ever had! While most are dry and crumbly, this one has a spongier texture and was so good! The inside is a very chill vibe with amazing music. There is also a porch and a rooftop area that look really fun-- we will have to try out those locations. We heard you can only get appetizers and drinks on the roof, though, and we needed a linner situation, so we opted for inside. Great experience, though kind of pricey! We will be back! read more

HG Sply a popular rooftop bar and patio to visit in Dallas, Texas! This spot has tasty food, great cocktails, warming fire pits and games on the patio, and a wonderful view of the busy city. Met up with an acquaintance here- headed to the rooftop. Parking: free, but CROWDED and tight. I parked in the "HG" parking lot. It's a shared lot behind the restaurant. There was side street parking and I wish I had just parked there.... I do not like uptown parking. Ordered the chips and queso. It's made with cashew nuts (vegan). It's an "it'll do" snack but I wouldn't order again. In fact, I'm in no rush to ever go back to HG. I didn't drink, because I wasn't in the mood for it. Go, you may enjoy!!! I did not. read more

This is probably my fifth time here and it is always great! They have a fun patio and rooftop with great views when the sunsets. Drinks and food are always delicious. I chose to build my own meal and picked the grilled chicken, sweet potato, and Brussel sprouts which were all great. Very flavorful as well. They do get busy, but they have a lot of seating options to fit a lot of people. read more
