Palma is such a cute and fun concept, and some of the food we ordered was amazing! The appetizers were definitely the best thing we tried off the menu and it was definitely the highlight of the meal, especially the yummy fries. also got the popcorn chicken and it was great! personally, i thought the maki (yellowtail habanero & macha maki) and our entree (birria tacos) paled in comparison but to each their own. drinks were on point though! definitely recommend coming here for happy hour!!

The food and the service is great. The ambience is amazing. It's a very cute date night spot.

First of all this place is just beautiful! It feels like you are in a resort in another country! Very lux. We came here for happy hour to plan a trip! I got a punch and avocado roll! Again presentation was beautiful! Both items were great! The drink was perfectly spiked, not too strong. The avocado roll is just like any other roll, still good though. Our server was kind, but did take a bit to visit us every once in a while, but it's fine. This was such a lovely visit! We will be back for another happy hour!

Tried this spot out before attending an event at the comedy club. Since this restaurant is in deep ellum, parking is challenging. The restaurant does validate parking but up until 5pm. We visited for happy hour and tried the sample platter , sushi and all the happy hour drinks . I did enjoy the sample platter - not huge fan of charred edamame. I enjoyed the queso and the fried the most . The drinks were just ok The restaurant is nice. It has a patio/outside area and the service is really good. Recommend checking out. Also, I liked that the music wasn't loud .

Visited Palma on a Saturday around 1pm. We were able to get a table inside, no wait. I love the vibe of this restaurant. It's very pretty inside. The food we tried was yummy. The queso I really enjoyed because it's different than other spots. Espresso martini was very sweet, so I enjoyed it. I do wish they had sushi during lunch time on the weekend: :( the sushi doesn't start until 3pm, so that was a bummer. They had a dj during brunch, great vibes. Also they have a speakeasy called ghost donkey that opens at 3pm, definitely want to visit soon.

The atmosphere and ambience is very chic with a Tulum-inspired vibe. The service at the bar and tables is efficient. They have a great happy hour with good food. The sushi and popcorn chicken are the best!

Upon entering Palma, I was immediately impressed with the decorations and interior design. There was a lot of thought put into creating this location. The cocktails were excellent as well as the food. I'm pretty picky about my Chilaquiles, but I was pretty impressed with these. Our server Jermie was very attentive and gave some great recommendations on the cocktails as well. Highly recommend.

Thanks for the great service! I enjoyed the decor a little. I would say y'all need some carnivorous plants for the flies. I tried the Spicy Tuna, the Sushi Nachos, and two Blood Orange Margaritas, and I really enjoyed everything. The food and drinks were delicious, but what made the experience even better was Alexis. He provided excellent service and made the entire visit enjoyable. I'll definitely be back!

This is my go to spot during the week, or even the weekend! Not sure what took me so long to write a review! I've literally have been going here since they opened and tried almost the whole menu Be mindful about their happy hour.. it's always sooo packed and hard to get a spot at the bar. Because when I go I just have to see my two favorites Maria or jermie! Parking is plentiful, ofc you're in deep ellum. I don't even have to tell you if it's paid or not lol because you know it is.. unless you can find street parking and it's during the times they aren't charging

We stumbled upon this spot before and concert and it happened to be happy hour - amazing prices, food, and options! Everything hit, and our server was super friendly. Definitely would recommend trying during happy hour as the deals are outstanding.

So upon entering we had some weird interactions and were sat at a dirty table, we otherwise had a wonderful time. Our server, Dannie, was top tier. She was bubbly, friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in often enough we felt we were cared for. Overall the food was excellent. We came for happy hour so we order most of the menu and the only thing that wasn't amazing was the yum fries - I prefer crispy fries but the waffle fries weren't crispy and overall the flavor was bit bland. Both my drinks, the espresso martini and margarita were excellent - I wish I could have enjoyed more but my body would have revolted. I love that this place wasn't just aesthetically pleasing, but the food and drinks matched perfectly. Will most definitely come back here.

My food was pretty good but my service wasn't. I got the popcorn chicken, LA roll and a mojito. I wasn't checked on once while eating or after. I wanted to order another drink but no one ever came back to my table so I didn't. I even had to another waiter to grab mine so I could close my ticket. The venue is beautiful and music not too loud but I'm not sure I would return. It wasn't busy and yet I was rarely helped.

This place was highly recommended online so I was very excited to try. The vibe of the restaurant is great. Bumping trending music and great decor. The service was decent. The hosts were kinda busy chatting with each other. I think our server was also pretty busy with a lot of other tables at the time. Honestly, the food was decent but it didn't blow my mind. I would recommend the popcorn chicken. The sushi was okay. The drinks were good and STRONG. The prices are great during happy hour. I would say if you're in the area during happy hour it's worth stopping by.

I follow them on Instagram to keep up with their artist lineup and the different styles of jazz they host. The food and drinks here are always unique and delicious. They run a seasonal menu, so l always try to order those limited-time items. My friend and I both tried the "Mango Lasso" cocktail--it's super mango-forward with a solid pour of vodka, plus it comes with an adorable little mango gummy cowboy hat on top (super cute, though the gummy itself didn't have much flavor, haha!). For dessert, we got the warm chocolate chip cookie served with bourbon pecan whipped cream. The cookie was a bit hard and crunchy --I was hoping for a soft, gooey skillet/ pazookie style, so that was a minor letdown. That said, one small dessert miss doesn't diminish all the other incredible experiences.

However, after visiting multiple times at different times of day, I don't think I'll be coming back. The food is fine and the coffee is okay, but the customer service has consistently been disappointing, and that's what ultimately ruins the experience. Each time I've gone, the staff behind the counter seem disengaged and uninterested in helping customers. There have been multiple occasions where no one acknowledges you at the counter, or they stay in the back and make you feel like you're interrupting them just by ordering. When they do interact, it often comes across as short or unfriendly. I'm not trying to make assumptions about the staff, but after repeated experiences like this, the environment just feels unwelcoming. It's gotten to the point where I can't even focus on working there because the overall vibe feels off. It's frustrating because this place could be great with more attentiveness and basic kindness in customer service. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently negative enough that it outweighs everything else.

I don't think Harwood Arms was prepared for how many people were going to show up- it seemed completely disorganized, chaotic, and just ridiculous. We were sitting down at one of the tables outside in the alley area and the walkway was clear- at first. After the game had actually started, I guess they just let everyone in and the entire walkway was PACKED with people to the point that our once clear view of the TV, was gone in an instant. As the night progressed, obviously a girl has to pee, so as I was walking into the actual restaurant/ pub to use the bathroom and I guess the "bouncer" stuck his arm between me and the door and dismissively said I couldn't go in. Excuse me? After telling him I literally have a table outside, he yanks at his collar and speaks into his little walkie talkie asking if there's a table of 4 outside under my name. Sorry, I didn't know I was watching the Mexico game at the freakin White House surrounded by Secret Agents. Give me a break. So when he magically confirms I have a table (because I do), he lifts up his arm and gives me the ALL CLEAR! It's actually funny looking back at it. But give me a break. When going back outside to sit at my table, the same bouncer/ Secret Agent/ FBI dude gives attitude to my boyfriend and myself for the commotion caused earlier. The actual police officer next to him told us it's ok and to just have a good time. The only nice thing someone said to us and he doesn't even work at Harwood Arms lol. To management, if you do not want people "off the street" to go in and out of your pub or inside to use your bathrooms, then I don't know- maybe come up with a wristband method so your paying customers can smoothly go in and out to use your bathrooms? Just a thought. OR just don't be unwelcoming to people that are actively spending money at your pub. Harwood Arms was NOT prepared at all for the high velocity of people coming in to watch the FIFA games. Quite frankly, it was a MESS. I did visit Bar W a few days after that and had a MUCH BETTER experience-- go there instead.

In other words, you'd never catch a glimpse of it by simply driving through town (thank goodness for Google maps!) and even many of the locals are unaware of its existence. We did manage to find it though, with hopes that the food would be worth the effort it took to get there. My husband and I both started with caesar salads. Other than being a little heavy on the dressing, they tasted ok. The pecan crusted salmon and mac & cheese were next for me. The coating on the salmon tasted like the same stuff a Thanksgiving sweet potato casserole is topped with. Unfortunately, that's the one thing I never touch because I'm just not a fan of the flavors. Unlike the salmon and salad, there was nothing objectionable about the mac & cheese. My husband ordered a filet that arrived really cold and underdone. It was closer to mooing than medium rare like he requested! Even after they took it back to the kitchen to cook it some more, it came back pretty raw. The chocolate cake we had for dessert was probably the best part of the meal. It was so rich and decadent that we didn't even miss the raspberry sauce (I assumed they purposefully left it out since we got it to go). Considering that the management here has opened and closed so many different restaurants in this same spot, you would think that they would be experts by now at running a successful establishment.
