Went here with my family. It was 16 of us. They were very accommodating. Anthony, our server, was great. He made sure to let the chef know of any allergies and made sure that none of the food that touched the table had that ingredient. The food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. Definitely a lot of beautiful things to see and immerse yourself in the ambience. As for the food, it was good however, I did not have a wow moment for any of the dishes. We tried the brisket tacos, lamb chops, and shrimp bruschettes. We did start with the queso, which was very good, but only served with a small amount of chips and we had to ask for more. The final dish of the meal was the arroz con Leche, which was pretty and the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned, however, the toppings were a little over the top and overshadowed the beautiful rice. Came here for the end of happy hour on a Wednesday evening. Has a beautiful rooftop which was not busy so it was peaceful to have a conversation and because of the fall weather it was also nice to enjoy some fresh air. We ordered a couple of drinks and some apps off the happy hour menu. We absolutely loved the elote, it was such a great app to enjoy together and was really flavorful. They top it with Takis so it adds a little spicy crunch which I loved. We also ordered the pork belly tacos as well which were unfortunately lacking. The portion was small but, I could overlook that if the quality was just better of the overall dish. Not something I'd order again. The drink were good but, a little overly sweet. Girls night! We made reservations and got a table outside! Now it was at 8:45 pm so it wasn't too hot but it was hot. We thought it was upstairs outside but it was on the side, I appreciated that the staff brought us additional lightening for our table and fixed the table bc it was wobbly. We had just had dinner elsewhere so we had some appetizers and drinks. I can't complain they did take care of us considering they were packed inside and we were outside. My fiancé brought me here for my birthday dinner! The vibes were giving very much grown and sexy. The lighting was very low and it was decorated beautifully. For starters we had the wedge salad and it was amazing!!!!! For entrees, I got the snapper and he got the lamb chops. We also got a side of potatoes, that green sauce was out of this world and added another layer of flavor to the dish. Service was a 10 as well. I first want to say a biggggg thank you to Anthony our server and to the whole te deseo team. I came here with my sister, sister in law and cousin for a girls nights to have dinner to celebrate my birthday this past Saturday. And from the start I was welcomed with a hand written post card to wish me happy birthday. After a few mins our server stopped by to surprise me with a complementary birthday shot. It was super delicious and unexpected. That was a pleasant surprise. We first started with some apps to share and everything was made fresh and super flavorful . We also all ordered drinks. My drink made with pineapple mix with coconut and few tropical flavors off the cocktail drink menu. The drinks were will decorated and tasty as well. My meal was the fajitas , with corn tortillas and an extra side of potatoes that have sausage. Everything was very well prepared, and serving size as well generous and still filling. To end the night we ordered two desserts the flan and churros. And as well it was very pretty, nicely decorated and as well very tasty. And as well fresh. The entire night was a pleasant experience. We were checked on regularly so service was perfect, the ambiance was beautifully decorated. I love plants so I felt right at home. Our table was next to the fire place so we were nice and warm and it set the mood. As the service came to an end I got one final surprise of a mini dessert cake. And a candle. So my group sang to me, I know dinning in downtown especially on a busy weeknd can be a hit or miss. But myself and everyone in my group non of us have any bad feedback. We all enjoyed our meals, the environment and setting was better than expected and we had no issues with our reservations. I felt taken care of, loved throughout the night feeling extra special with the service and the food was really great. We were given the wrong order, our appetizers that we ordered well before ordering the food came out after our food did. I ordered wine and didn't get it so i had to ask again. The food itself was okay. I wasn't very impressed with the snapper nor broccolini. The flavor was mild for the snapper but it was nice and flaky. The broccolini was hard to cut through and the flavor was strongly... natural. The drinks and arepas were the best part of dinner. The arepas were like a saving grace for this date night, they were so delicious. I ordered the Caribe cocktail which was really good ! Reminded me of a pina colada almost. Ambiance was nice but it's pretty dark inside. The hostess sat us but did not pay attention to my question and comment but i chalked it up to her not hearing me as she was having a conversation with a worker about her day. The best thing about this place is the ambience, decor, etc. Atmosphere is very nice in dining area, rooftop is pretty ghetto, the view is great, but seems they're a pretty young crowd early-mid 20s. Dress code was basically women in bikini tops on the rooftop. Guacamole also tasted like just avocado. Octo was my favorite dish--perfectly tender, sauce and olives went perfect with it. Short rib was tender, but mole was painted on basically a cube of meat. Not enough sauce!!! Pineapple cake dessert--the cream and pineapple with brûléed sugar was delicious. The cake tasted dry and stale. Service was strange. Waiter announced one of the drinks we had ordered would be unavailable while continuing to walk at full speed across the room. Did not ask if we would like something else or even stop to face us. Similarly half way through taking entree orders he walked away to talk to another staff person and then returned without so much as an apology. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to celebrate my 18th birthday party. First of all, our server took 45 minutes to actually take our orders and pay any mind to us. Then, the server (Gabby) offered me a birthday shot (non alcoholic of course) and never mentioned anything about it costing extra. When we got the bill, I was CHARGED 6 dollars for 3 ounces of juice. We also asked if we could split the bill because there was only 8 of us. She said we could not but on the website, it mentions that only parties of 12 cannot split the bill. We were then charged an extra 30% gratuity after tipping, even though they messed up 2 of our orders. One of them was supposed to have been modified for my friend's allergies, which we communicated beforehand and they still messed up which is a safety issue. After this fiasco, she moved us from our table to the bar for a 15 top to come in. While the large party table behind us had been there longer and our table could only fit 11. She sent us to the bar and said we had "special permission to be there". When we go to the bar, we received dirty looks from the bartenders. Some other bartenders come in and tried to id us and we told them we were told to sit here, and insisted we were not ordering anything at alI. More came in and even said out loud "what's up with these young girls at the bar??" This was just rude since we were kicked out of our table and told by our server to sit there . Came for the first time with colleagues for dinner. I'd never been here before but Google searches suggested they could accommodate a vegan. Waiter said they could do tacos, fajitas or enchiladas vegan so I went with the enchiladas & they were really good. Had guac for the appetizer & waiter was good to point out that the chips are made in a shared fryer so I appreciated them knowing to point that out. Service was good - it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday night. Valet is shared with Happiest Hour - it's free with info to Venmo/Zelle/Cashapp a tip. I will say, this restaurant is DARK inside - really weird when you walk in & it's so dark. Your eyes do slightly adjust but it's just dark. I had to get out the flashlight on my phone to look at the menu. Couldn't take pics of my food it was so dark. I'm glad we stayed to go to the rooftop - much brighter up there. I was surprised that it wasn't hot up there. There was a nice breeze and it was really pretty. When we arrived, the place was super dark, but I loved the cute decor and the unique look. Food was bland and unremarkable. No chips and salsa (which is fine I guess), no Dr Pepper, and the $19 brisket tacos were small with no seasoning. The menu is completely different from what I saw online. The food pictures aren't accurate anymore either. When I went to the restroom, 2 workers were together, smoking a cig and a blunt in the large stall. Lovely.
