Wild Salsa did it again! Some friends from Seattle came to visit, and we met up here for dinner. I ordered the enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious! The Smoked Oaxacan is still my favorite drink--I love its smoky flavor. Our server, Sergio, was incredibly patient and attentive. We had little ones with us, and he was so kind and accommodating, making sure the kids were taken care of throughout our meal. As always, we had a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back! read more

I've been wanting to try Wild Salsa for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did--it definitely lived up to the hype! The steak fajitas were easily my favorite part of the meal. The steak was tender and juicy. It came out sizzling and smelled amazing before I even took the first bite. The cilantro rice was the perfect side--light, fluffy, and fresh, with just the right amount of cilantro to complement the fajitas. I also couldn't leave without ordering the churros, and they did not disappoint. They were warm, perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Best way to end the meal. What really made the experience even better was the friendly service and vibes. This definitely will not be the last time here. read more

In the heart of downtown Dallas, this place stands out. There are plenty of tables to handle a busy work crowd and it's modern and trendy! Ask for Carolina! She gives great recommendations and provides excellent service. She was friendly but non-invasive, present but not overbearing, and my drink was never empty! She recommend the torta with a Mexican coke and the pair was delish! We also tried the queso blanco and my friend had the tortilla soup! Try this spot if you are near downtown! read more

Yesterday during the Pride Parade, we made a strategic stop at this bar and restaurant. The manager told us they were completely full, but that we could still order drinks at the bar. We ordered a margarita, and it was absolutely delicious highly recommended! Unfortunately, the service from the bartender was a completely different experience. He seemed upset or annoyed from the beginning and ignored us several times. We practically had to beg just to place our drink order. The margarita was excellent, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. read more

Be sure to check your receipts. Their happy hr margaritas went up by $1 and yes it doesn't seem like much but on the menu it says they're $5. When I inquired about the discrepancy the bartender told me that they hadn't yet printed out the new menus. No new menu and no prior warning means they should still be honoring the cost that's listed because that's not the customers fault. read more

Great service at an odd hour! Friday late lunch at 2PM and the team was on point. Great bar staff and managers. The food here is very delicious, ingredients are fresh. The presentation of the entrees is art, there is a definite attention to detail. There's complimentary chips and salsa that's so good! The beverages were tasty and presented well, didn't need to order two. The service is friendly, nothing to complain about. The decor inside is fabulous, there's a cozy classy feel to this casual restaurant. On the way out they even offer a free mini popsicle which was perfect for the summer weather outside! Great food and drinks in an upscale atmosphere. Had a sampler of tacos and all were delicious. Definitely recommend the Smoked Oaxacan cocktail. Service was attentive and accommodating to our party with some rambunctious kids. The kids loved the popsicle cart on the way out! Too bad we didn't know that before they devoured the Tres Leches. Sugar high! read more

Where now I have mixed feelings about this place but overall likely will not return. The waitress was amazing. She was literally running back and forth to accommodate customers. It appeared they were short staff and she was really doing her best and we appreciated her. The food 5/10, drink was 7/10... we sat outside which was cool, it was clean for the most part. Now the bathrooms were an entire different story... ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! Doors missing knobs, doors didn't lock, smelt like something died in it. read more

Nice spot in downtown to unwind for the night. Enjoyed the food, ambiance, and drinks. The shrimp ceviche was light and refreshing. The carne asada in the chili sauce was cooked perfectly. The food was delicious and there is a variety of choices. The vibe was on point. The drinks were great.

The good: Sat a party of 13 immediately on a Friday night--no reservation, no wait. The bad: We should've realized that being seated right away on a Friday night at a nearly empty restaurant was the first red flag. After a long wait just to get our bar drinks, we placed our orders... only to find out they were out of almost every entrée we asked for. No cheese enchiladas, no quesadillas, no steak fajitas, no barbacoa. Three people wanted the Tamal--guess how many they had? One. What we did manage to order was very mediocre. Service was painfully slow; we had to repeatedly get up to find our waitress, and eventually even had to track down a manager just to get our check. We won't be back. Do yourself a favor--don't ignore the obvious signs I did. read more

Tiffany and Ashton provided the best service towards our night. They don't even know but they saved our night with great food, great ambiance, and amazing vibes. I'd give a 4.5 if i could :) Amazing was Guac, barbacoa taco and Horchata. I'd get these again in a heartbeat- the sesame in the guac, unique but such a great touch, barbacoa- was insanely great. We were out for mocktails and i can't imagine a better one. Service was quick and great! Mediocre was the steak fajitas, shrimp and chicken taco. I got the pick 3 tacos and just wish they had all been barbacoa My husband loved the chips and green salsa, along with his mango mocktail. Fabulous for a date night! read more

My friends and I stopped by Wild Salsa around 8pm on a Wednesday night for dinner. We didn't make reservations, but we were seated right away as the place wasn't too busy. We sat in a comfy booth in the main dining area. Wild Salsa had an upscale ambiance to it, but I found the place to be pretty chill and laid back. Service was great. Our food came out fast, and our server was friendly and attentive. He also went above and beyond to hype up their food, but I thought everything was OK at best. We ordered the ceviche to share. It was not what I expected but in a good way. I was expecting the shrimp to be chopped up, but Wild Salsa kept the shrimp in half-sized pieces. It wasn't much food though, and we only got up to 6 servings from it. Honestly there wasn't much that impressed me on the menu, so I got a chicken quesadilla to be safe. I liked the shredded chicken tinga, but it was a considerably basic quesadilla. The way our server described the hot sauces made me think we were going to be burning our asses off, but they were not spicy to me at all. He also sold us on the coconut tres leches cake, but I thought the cake was dry despite being soaked in one of the 3 milks. read more

The food was beyond fantastic. This was recommended by a friend and they were not wrong. The setting of the restaurant was warm and inviting. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. Our waiter/server was a gentleman named Javier. He was well spoken, attentive, and made wonderful suggestions being our first time here. For starters, he suggested the Wild Rita which is their signature drink from the bar. It was excellent. For my main dish I had the chicken and steak fajita. This dish was so flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Javier did not steer me wrong. His suggestions were on point and his attention to detail is something one doesn't encounter all that often these days. I will definitely be telling all of my friends and coworkers about this restaurant and, if he's available, I will make sure they ask for Javier. read more

Love this place. Nice ambiance, good drinks, good food, good prices, great service! (Thanks Javier!)

Good Salsa, but Otherwise Subpar Food Ordered: (Main) Chicken Milanesa - 2/5 - The chicken was stringy and overcooked. Not sure how they achieved the consistency they did with the chicken because it was pasty as well, almost like a raw fish burger. The poblano mashed potatoes had no flavor and did not go with the guajillo salsa at all. (Side) Street Style Corn - 3/4 - Nothing really to write home about. It was a standard elote corn. The salsa verde and chips were good. And the service was also quick and good. The atmosphere was like a cantina which was fun and friendly. Overall, however, I would not recommend this place because the food was not great. read more
