Yesterday during the Pride Parade, we made a strategic stop at this bar and restaurant. The manager told us they were completely full, but that we could still order drinks at the bar. We ordered a margarita, and it was absolutely delicious highly recommended! Unfortunately, the service from the bartender was a completely different experience. He seemed upset or annoyed from the beginning and ignored us several times. We practically had to beg just to place our drink order. The food here is very delicious, ingredients are fresh. The presentation of the entrees is art, there is a definite attention to detail. There's complimentary chips and salsa that's so good! I would definitely recommend coming here for happy hour. The drinks, ceviche and queso were all really good. For my meal I had a quesadilla and it was beyond gross. For some reason it was very mushy. I've never had a mushy quesadilla before. The wait staff was really nice and remade it for me but it still wasn't crunchy. Where now I have mixed feelings about this place but overall likely will not return. The waitress was amazing. She was literally running back and forth to accommodate customers. The good: Sat a party of 13 immediately on a Friday night--no reservation, no wait. The bad: We should've realized that being seated right away on a Friday night at a nearly empty restaurant was the first red flag. After a long wait just to get our bar drinks, we placed our orders... only to find out they were out of almost every entrée we asked for. No cheese enchiladas, no quesadillas, no steak fajitas, no barbacoa. Three people wanted the Tamal--guess how many they had? One. What we did manage to order was very mediocre. Service was painfully slow; we had to repeatedly get up to find our waitress, and eventually even had to track down a manager just to get our check. We won't be back. My friends and I stopped by Wild Salsa around 8pm on a Wednesday night for dinner. We didn't make reservations, but we were seated right away as the place wasn't too busy. We sat in a comfy booth in the main dining area. Wild Salsa had an upscale ambiance to it, but I found the place to be pretty chill and laid back. Service was great. Our food came out fast, and our server was friendly and attentive. He also went above and beyond to hype up their food, but I thought everything was OK at best. We ordered the ceviche to share. It was not what I expected but in a good way. I was expecting the shrimp to be chopped up, but Wild Salsa kept the shrimp in half-sized pieces. It wasn't much food though, and we only got up to 6 servings from it. Honestly there wasn't much that impressed me on the menu, so I got a chicken quesadilla to be safe. I liked the shredded chicken tinga, but it was a considerably basic quesadilla. The way our server described the hot sauces made me think we were going to be burning our asses off, but they were not spicy to me at all. He also sold us on the coconut tres leches cake, but I thought the cake was dry despite being soaked in one of the 3 milks. read more

The food was beyond fantastic. This was recommended by a friend and they were not wrong. The setting of the restaurant was warm and inviting. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. Our waiter/server was a gentleman named Javier. He was well spoken, attentive, and made wonderful suggestions being our first time here. For starters, he suggested the Wild Rita which is their signature drink from the bar. It was excellent. For my main dish I had the chicken and steak fajita. This dish was so flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Javier did not steer me wrong. His suggestions were on point and his attention to detail is something one doesn't encounter all that often these days. While enjoying the upscale ambiance and amazing service, it just so happened to be Taco Tuesday, where the frozen margaritas were 5$ and tacos were 3$ all day!
