Everybody working was super friendly and we were seated immediately. our server came over and took our drink orders which came out immediately. we ended up just sharing some Irish nachos between the two of us which also came out really quickly. I would say less than five minutes and they were really tasty. We enjoyed them a lot. Everything was really easy and quick at this spot. I only wish that I had gotten an opportunity to try more things on the menu. I will definitely have to come back. Restaurant is a pretty small area with an outdoor seating place, but I had to say the fish and chips here were insanely good. The quantity of the chips maybe I got around 10 fries and that was disappointing since they were so tasty. The fish itself was crunchy and satisfying to eat. I was told to give my card right when I ordered which in all my years of eating at restaurants never happened to me so that left a weird taste in my mouth but thankfully the fish made it better. read more

It's smaller than I expected, but there are a few tables outside if you want to hang out. The whiskey, scotch, and draft beer selection was solid. We sat at the bar -- the bartender acknowledged us right away but took a little while to take our order. I got the Irish American burger -- it was okay, the bun wasn't toasted and the meat could've used a bit more flavor or char. The pub fries were awesome though -- crispy and piping hot. This is a decent downtown dallas bar. It's a bit of a dive and doesn't have anything super special about it. They do have good beers on draft but their cocktail game is lacking. Not surprising, given their name but they could try a little harder. I don't find the wait staff super inviting and friendly and I've only been once so it could have been an off night. I also think since it's in downtown that the scene is a little dead most nights. read more

Like literally the best fish and chips I've ever had.. the batter was the perfect texture and wasn't too thick or heavy. The tartar sauce was so delicious, I kept drowning my fish into it. The Cole slaw was also sooo freakin good, not too sweet or mayoy, absolutely perfect. The boneless wings were also really good, the bbq sauce was rly tangy and delicious. As a Brit - I really appreciate a good pint and fish n chips. this has been the best spot we have come across since living in the DFW area. It was clean, friendly people, service was good just a bit slow but we went around 6pm on a Sunday during one of the NBA final games. I wasn't a fan of the gravy and curry sauce and they don't have mushy peas, HP sauce or chip shop curry sauce. BUT overall rating - was great! Worth the 40 minute drive. read more

Came in for a volleyball tournament and was thrilled to find an Irish Pub near the hotel! Most times we have found an Irish Pub they always have texmex and a lot of English food there. This place had wonderful Irish options with a side of chicken wings It's a smaller pub so huge crowds might be split and it is open seating. They have a nice outside area if you are into people watching. The love music put a smile on my husband's face and after fighting Dallas traffic he needed that! The options for beer is wide, and he had 2!! The food is great and authentic! My daughter didn't care for the Shepard pie (said mine was better ) but I don't use lamb so...
