We were out and about and stopped here for a pint. Nice evening so we stayed outside. Ultimately he decided he wasn't really hungry after all but I still wanted a little something. Instead of a full meal I just got the pretzels. I was surprised for the price that it was two pretzels. Had plenty of cheese and mustard but it was more than I'm used to so I didn't make it all the way through the second one. Server was really friendly and prompt. I would've liked to try more of a meal but the pints and app did me right.

Not a single complaint for this place! We came in after Tiesto AT&T discovery concert on st pattys day. It was late night so it was not as busy. Food was bomb AF, we loved everything we ordered. Scotch eggs was better than some I've had in Europe. Fish and chips were well seasoned and flavorful. Boyfriend enjoyed Irish whiskey and Guinness. I had a sip and that was enough. Service was awesome!

Does my favorite Irish Pub in Dallas serve a spice bag? Yes. Yes it does. And it's delish.

Excellent wait staff - shout out Haley! Excellent kitchen. Excellent decor. It's a landmark Irish Pub that does right by the Dallas locals.

The "boneless wings with Habanero and mango sauce were very good.....a picture paint as a thousand words!

The Crafty Irishman is my place to go in Dallas for a nice brew at the bar! Great location and excellent service.

This place ya'll!!!! We just got back from Ireland and this experience was so authentic and chill. It's like sitting in any pub in the Irish countryside! The fish and chips were perfect- hint ask for a side of curry. The bartender was very friendly and the Irish coffee with Tullamore (of course) did not disappoint! You could sit at the bar or in little booth that were like mini snugs( if you know you, you know) Don't miss this place if you are in Dallas!

Needed a brewski and some food badly & this cute Irish pub hit the spot I ordered the fish and chips & my friend ordered boneless wings with bbq sauce BRO THE FISH AND CHIPS WERE FIIIIIIIRE the fish was HUGE and soooo freakin crispy and juicy. Like literally the best fish and chips I've ever had.. the batter was the perfect texture and wasn't too thick or heavy. The tartar sauce was so delicious, I kept drowning my fish into it. The Cole slaw was also sooo freakin good, not too sweet or mayoy, absolutely perfect. The boneless wings were also really good, the bbq sauce was rly tangy and delicious. The beers paired so well with our food and hit the spot! There are a good amount of tables available, we sat at the booth which was high rise and they were very comfortable. Service was immaculate, our girls were super helpful with beer selection and food recommendations. We were very happy with experience and I can't recommend this spot enough!!

Black in cod, talk for happy hour was a very good offer

Great Irish pub in the middle of downtown Dallas. Good selection of virus, whiskeys and beers but, don't miss out on the food.

Such an awesome Irish pub!!! It has all the charm, warmth and ambiance one would expect without the old, ragged feel some pubs have. This place is crisp and clean! We had the Irish stew, which is apparently a winter special. It was superb to say the least. The server was also really friendly and helpful.

As a Brit - I really appreciate a good pint and fish n chips. this has been the best spot we have come across since living in the DFW area. It was clean, friendly people, service was good just a bit slow but we went around 6pm on a Sunday during one of the NBA final games. I wasn't a fan of the gravy and curry sauce and they don't have mushy peas, HP sauce or chip shop curry sauce. BUT overall rating - was great! Worth the 40 minute drive.

Chicken wings here are absolutely the best. I also love that they have a great drink selection -- I usually go for Magners cider, but they also have a really nice variety of white wines. On Wednesdays they offer whiskey specials, which is perfect if you like trying new options. Service is always great -- the staff is attentive, the vibe is fun, and it's a spot I'll definitely keep coming back to.

This place quickly became my favorite restaurant, earning a solid 5/5 rating across the board! The service, ambiance, food, and drinks were simply outstanding. Service: The staff was excellent, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Drinks: I highly recommend the seasonal plum cocktail--it was a delightful treat! Food: The highlight of my meal was the Monte Cristo, which was unbelievably delicious. Made with smoked turkey, ham, Wexford Cheddar, and Swiss cheese on sourdough, it's beer-battered and fried, then dusted with powdered sugar and served with raspberry preserves. The presentation was stunning, and I couldn't resist sharing it with everyone at the table. They all agreed it was the best sandwich they had ever tasted! Overall, The Crafty Irishman is a must-visit for anyone in Dallas. I can't wait to go back!

Location Downtown Dallas Parking Street is free after 6 Atmosphere Irish pub Dallas style-chill, casual. Seating Intimate booths, large group table, bar-outside seating with tv's. Service Outstanding! Menu Honestly I can' t remember but I did have a whiskey beverage and it was outstanding. They have cabbage rolls which looked great. Summary What a great find! We love this place! Can't wait to go back!

Fun dinner out on the patio tonight at the Crafty Irishman! We got there right as happy hour was ending but our sever hurried and put in my drink order so I could still get the Crafty Deal: pint of Irishman and a shot of Tullamore Dew. Awesome! My husband got a Heniken Zero to drink along with the Vegan Shepherds Pie and I got the regular Shepherds Pie. Everything was great and it was perfect weather for sitting outside!! Cheers!!

Ask the Community - The Crafty Irishman

    Do they have restaurant parking?

As far as I know, they don't but street parking was fairly easy to find.

Do you or can you reserve a table?

I donny think they accept reservations, I've been here 3-4 times for lunch/dinner and have never had a problem getting seated.

Does this place show Six Nations Rugby?

They have a lot of TVs and when I was there they had NHL game on that I couldn't get in my hotel.

Does anyone know if the beans in the full Irish taste like the beans in a full Irish in Ireland, or do they taste like American pork n beans?

Honestly it's amazing how similar they are. I couldn't recommend them more. If you go there tell them your a real Irish man and I promise they'll take care of you

We got a cheeseboard, but if I had to recommend one thing, definitely the fried mushrooms if you like mushrooms. They're huge and the spicy cilantro sour cream sauce is killer! We sat in the indoor/outdoor area, which was my fave. It can take a minute to flag someone down when it's busy, but that felt understandable for how busy they were. The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.

Also, in the $5.00 cup, it also had a mussel. All I can say is the next time we're there, I'm ordering a bowl as my meal! I've also tried their French onion soup and it's excellent.
