If you are in need of a Sunday funday check this place out . Get there early if you want a seat on the back patio to check out Branoofunck . A time will be had. Great drinks . My girl Mel is the best. They have a really good lemon drop shot.

Came here after seeing Lights at Trees and the Food was amazing!!! Service was so good. The bartender knows what he's doing! His name was Carlos and watching him make the drinks was like watching alchemy. The care he took to make everyone's drink was amazing. I don't drink but I bet he would make an amazing concoction! Chino and Carlos kept checking in on me and made sure I was taken care of. Even though it was a Sunday night it was a little slower and idk why because the food is amazing. I asked for the chefs name (Grace) because the plating was gorgeous and everything was delicious! I got the fried flatbread- I would consider it more like a cheesy garlicky savory sopapilla to be honest and it was so good! I also had a cup of the goulash and it was amazing. The beef was so tender and so yummy. I thought it was very much like Bo Kho from Vietnam. They even served the goulash with bread! I will be coming back to Dallas and I will absolutely be coming back here! Amazing service, kind people, great food and bartenders that look like they know what they are doing!

My mom and I walked in and were enchanted by the gorgeous dark restaurant. Built to honor the amazing Hungarian history and magic of the family that owns it, Armoury is in fact pure magic. Our server was super friendly and delightful. Mom got the damn burger while I checked out Vamprilla's grilled cheese, which is by far the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had the pleasure to devour. Next time I'm in Dallas I'll be back for sure.

We hit Armoury this week for our annual Dad outings during the holiday season. As usual, it was endless laughs among close friends. It's easy for longtime friends to have a blast at one of the best cocktail bars and Hungarian pubs around. Who doesn't love exceptional cocktails and Hungarian fare?? Dallas is lucky to have such an eclectic bar like Armoury. You won't find another Dallas joint with a more unique vibe, the best quality and creative cocktails, delicious Hungarian food, and even better service. Check out the old school cigarette machine!! This year everyone showed up so there were 9 of us. It's fun to get everyone together at the same time since that's a rare occurrence. The bartenders took amazing care of us pouring delicious cocktails while all 9 of us ordered a bowl of their famous goulash (it's so good - photo 14) We've had a lot of the recipes before since we frequent Armoury throughout the year, but one surprised me since I've never had it. Velvet Revival (photo #2) is a complex and tasty sour with Brandy, pineapple, vanilla, lemon, Orgeat, egg white and a float of port. It was amazing and one I will order regularly from now on. I need to try and recreate it at home. Some other favorites the guys ordered were the fan favorite Ashes in the Fall (photo #6). It's probably one of the most complex cocktails you'll ever have. The main comment from a bunch of the boys was how can this be so well balanced with so many ingredients?? Because Armoury is one of the best in town, that's why. Our bartender Kelsey made BMo one of the tastiest Penicillins we've ever had (photo 9). It's a classic scotch cocktail everyone should try. Ritual of Buso (photo 11) is their spin on an espresso made from Macum which is a dark Hungarian liqueur. It was unique and tasty. I know I've posted about Armoury a few times but it deserves ongoing coverage. If you haven't been, you should go asap . Go enjoy an amazing cocktail and a bowl of goulash. Ok! I waited until I had a host of experiences before giving a review. I will say, the most recent visit proved to be an off experience. A group of us wanted a restaurant within walking distance of Dcc. Bartender Rachel gives the best bartending service here. So, I suggested Armoury. I had been coming here since they hosted live shows outside and served duck hearts on the menu. It's a cool twist on Hungarian cuisine. Remember to check out the walls and ceiling above the bar for the best decor. It was not busy. I loved how our group of nine of could be sat, easily and quickly. There was some confusion on how to go about ordering- bar vs table side. Eventually, we all went to the bar. I ordered G4 and soda alongside a 'Damn Burger'. They had Tap Pay. Note, using Tap Pay meant tabbing out right then. After ordering, I walked back to our table. It was unclear when about my drink was made. I went back to the bar and asked a different bartender to make my drink. A different staff asked if a drink already at the counter was mine. I asked if the drink had been messed with, relented and took it back to my table. A Bartender apologized and brought us another Reposado and soda on the house. Eventually, everyone from our party ordered. One app came out. Slowly the rest of of orders trickled out- all but one. We had been talking and eating. It wasn't until we were packing up leftovers that I realized someone from our group hadn't gotten their food AT ALL. It was wild. The place wasn't even busy. That's never happened before. I'm not sure what happened. I had to jet. Hopefully, my friend got his meal soon thereafter. Since the food and drinks have, otherwise, been consistent I don't think this experience will affect future visits. There's parallel parking, parking lots nearby and side street parking. Egészségére!

I really like this little spot in Deep Ellum! There's a nice big bar, and I loved the wall of liquor complete with library ladder. The bartenders really know how to craft a cocktail. I got the Soothsayer. I enjoyed It has a speakeasy vibe. This was a Sunday afternoon. Not sure how crazy it gets at night.

Immediately greeted as I walked in. Great customer service and great fries! Kelsey and Roberto were truly great. I enjoyed the vibes. One of the best craft cocktail bars I've been to in Dallas. I'm not exaggerating.

Delicious cocktails in deep Ellum and a beautiful patio. When I say delicious cocktails I mean from craft ingredients down to matching bar ware and legit. If clear ice rocks! I had a Bonnie and Clyde and I can honestly say it's a delicious cocktail. The service was great as well. We sat on the back patio and our server brought us all our amazing cocktails and you could tell they were not mass produced. Highly recommend this spot!

Great spot in Deep Ellum for hand crafted cocktails. Unlike many of the other bars that offer generic drinks and margarita happy hours, Armoury DE has an extensive list of cocktails with unique ingredients. Chamomile-black sesame orgeat, papaya, apple brandy, cherry wood smoke, pandan, they've got it. The drinks are all made by hand and you can tell the bartenders really care about making a good drink. The inside is what I would call "dark moody" and had a kind of medieval, old Hungarian feel. There's plenty of bar seating, a few small tables and a patio out back. While we didn't order food, I did see that a table nearby got the customized charcuterie board which looked fantastic (skip to the last page of the menu - it's easy to miss). Really enjoyed this spot. Check them out.

Armoury DE has been on my list to try since we moved to Dallas a year and a half ago. I love octopus and they came up with lots of reviews when I did a yelp search. What was I waiting for?? The octopus was awesome! Really well seasoned with yummy crunchy bits while still being tender. Husband got a burger with egg and demolished it. He raved to our server about how delicious it was. We came here on a Sunday around 2pm but they had the option of brunch (Saturday/Sunday) or the regular menu. Service was attentive without hovering and the decor was really cool. We're definitely adding this to our downtown/Deep Ellum restaurant rotation.

Super great selection of beers and drinks, the kitchen is open until 1:45 Am!!! Perfect place to end a night out in Deep Ellum. The schnitzel was a perfect meal to end our night out before we called our Ubers home. Hello, fries, fried pork, & gravy?? Yes, please. The manager was super accommodating when we came in at 1 with a group of 9. They had a live DJ out in the patio when we went and there's plenty is space and seating in the back. We loved the vibe of this place.

Taste of Europe - Arlington…read more This place is not the same as it was 20+ years ago. It's gone downhill. Overpriced. Small portions. Mediocre quality. Very misleading. OUTSIDE: You can tell that they don't take care of the building. The once beautiful mural on the side of the building is now faded and has not had any brushes of strokes to revive the once vibrant colors. The parking lot has seen better days. INTERIOR: Once you enter inside, on each side of the entrance is a beautiful Russian themed murals of old folk tale's characters. You'll also see Russian themed nesting dolls and a famous chef picture visited here in 2016, Guy Fieri. The dining room looks outdated, dingy and too much wasted open space. They could use more tables and chairs. When it first opened it looked so much better. I used to come here a lot as a child and it was so nice that you could enjoy authentic Russian cuisines. Afterwards, go look around at the Russian souvenirs you might want to buy. They also offered a large selection of Russian sweets and other Russian products you could take home. Unfortunately, as of January 2026, the grocery store closed. The large collection of authentic Russian souvenirs have long been discontinued to be sold here. Now, it's just a dingy and outdated space. I fully understand that the new owner is trying his best. But, as someone that used to come here a lot, I can tell you with full certainty, there is nothing Russian about this place anymore. In the main dining room, it would do them good to add some paintings. As of 2026, the walls are bare and the place looks like they are barely surviving. CUISINE: I came here with my family to check out this place and see if anything changed or stayed the same. Overpriced food with small portions. We ordered Olivie Salad and it was $5.99 for half a cup. The salad was great and reminded me of childhood. The presentation of the salad wasn't the best from what I remember. The original owner took pride in making every dish look creative. It came in a beautiful Russian crystal bowl. Now, they serve you plain white bowl and the presentation is mediocre. PELMENI: We also ordered Pelmeni, $17.99. As someone who is from Russia, Pelmeni has always been the epicenter of Russian traditional dish. It has a very distinct texture and flavors. You could either make it the right way, like your grandmother used to make. By hand, with love. Or, you could do it the modern way and just buy frozen. Dump it into boiling water until the dough surfaces to the top. Previous owner, used the old methods. Every Pelmeni was made by hand, in house. It wasn't frozen and the taste reminded you of your grandmother's cooking. Now, they buy frozen Pelmeni and go the easy route of boiling them for five to ten minutes. The taste was ok, but you could tell that they were not made in house. We asked our waitress and she confirmed that they're store bought, frozen. The presentation was mediocre at best. The bowl had too much water in it. The water and Pelmeni had blend flavor. Hardly any seasoning was on it. I dumped all the water from my Pelmeni bowl into another bowl. The only good thing about this dish was having a good portion of sour cream to go with it. SERVICE: The service was mediocre, too. Our waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there and rushed us to order. Which is ironic, considering that only few guests were inside. She didn't come by and asked if we wanted any drink refills. After we finished eating, another man came over and asked if we wanted dessert and we declined. He brings us our check and says, "You pay upfront."Customer service can improve here and be more guest focused. OVERALL: After visiting this place and seeing the state that it's in, I think they are on survivor mode and may very well close their doors soon. They have to revamp this place. "Eye appeal is buy appeal." Repaint the outside. Dining room, add more lights and change the flooring. The floor tiles look like from an outdated restroom. At this time, after my visit, in good faith, I cannot recommend this place.

We had the cabbage and mushroom; tater and cheese and Piccadillo (a little Tex mex version with ground beef, potato and jalepeno). Honestly, the picadillo was my favorite, all were good though. The sauerkraut and ribs were tasty, they take all of the fun out of it by taking the meat off the bones, but better for service. We had the sausage plate which was really good and finally the potato pancakes with apple sauce. Everything was great. Did not know it at the time, but Granny Dee was our sever!!
