Ritual has been on my to-go list since it opened and when my sister suggested we try Tini Tuesdays I was happy to oblige. I made reservations for 6:30 and once arrived we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess and sat in a booth as requested. There were a few patrons there so reservations probably weren't needed. However, as we sat more people came in so I'd suggest reservations as it looks like it'll get packed pretty quickly. The interior is absolutely stunning. Dark..moody and warm. Plush seating and dim lighting gives it a speakeasy vibe which we absolutely loved. Our waitress was pleasant and prompt; asking if we had questions about the menu. We opted to try the Tini flight for $9 with a lemon drop, passion fruit and lychee martini. The Tinis were pretty flavorful and were extremely cute. They are small so you'll probably need two flights. However, it's a great way to sample all the flavors. I also tried the Blossom and Bloom which was divine! For food, truffle fries, sliders and popcorn chicken were the choices. The portions were perfect, food was hot and tasty. All in all, Ritual is great spot and I'll definitely be back! read more

I visited Ritual Dallas for the first time yesterday with a friend and initially enjoyed the atmosphere. However, our overall experience was disappointing due to several service issues. First, Google indicates that hats and shorts are prohibited, yet we observed multiple guests entering and dining while wearing those exact items. If the dress code is not being enforced, that information should be updated to avoid confusion. Second, the fries I ordered arrived only lukewarm and had to be sent back to be recooked. While the issue was corrected, it was not a great first impression. Most concerning was what happened while we were eating. A waitress approached our table and informed us that a reservation had arrived for our table and that we would need to leave. We were completely taken aback. At no point before being seated were we informed that the table was reserved or that there would be a time limit on our dining experience. Being asked to leave in the middle of our meal was both unprofessional and disrespectful. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression. Between the inconsistent enforcement of policies, the food issue, and the poor handling of table reservations, the service fell far below expectations. As a result, I do not plan to return and felt it was important to share this feedback so improvements can be made for future guests. read more

Met some friends for drinks and what we thought would be lite bites... turns out the portions were huge. The food was really good - Caesar salad perfectly crispy, sliders super filling, and you can never go wrong with truffle fries. Drinks were delicious too. I didn't order anything off the cocktail menu, but everything we had was still great. Service was solid - the staff really worked together as a team and checked on tables consistently. The ambiance is dark, sultry, and definitely a vibe. I do wish the table lighting was a little better, but I understand the aesthetic they were going for. And the DJ? So good. This was a very chic and sophisticated experience. I loved the ambiance and decor. Dim lighting, comfortable seats, a postage stamp sized dance floor... it all led to a feeling of romance and mystery. I tried an old fashioned and it hit the spot - it had a heavy, rich flavor. Visited Ritual Lounge for the first time and had a really solid experience overall. From the start, things felt right. The hostess (didn't catch her name) was warm and welcoming. Even though the inside was fully booked with reservations, she gave me options and let me know I could either order at the bar or be served on the patio. That flexibility went a long way. We ended up sitting outside and were taken care of by Kerrigan, who was excellent. Pleasant, knowledgeable, made strong recommendations, and checked on us just enough without being overbearing. Exactly how service should be. For drinks and food, I had the Claire (their in-house cocktail) and it was a 10 out of 10. No notes. I also ordered the Mex spring rolls and they were absolutely amazing. Definitely a must-order. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 is the tequila shot. I ordered a house tequila (El Bandido) and it was $19, which ended up being more than anything else I ordered. I didn't mind paying, but knowing the bottle itself runs around $34 retail made that one feel like a bit of a stretch. Overall, I'll definitely be back again and again. On Tuesdays they have 3 dollar martinis! My friends and I got the flight that is 3 for 8 dollars which is a good deal. Got a lychee martini, Passionfruit martini, and lemon drop martini. I came here with 4 other friends to celebrate my birthday. I had been seeing this place on social media and it just looked so cute. I booked a reservation and upon arrival we were seated right away in a spacious booth and given roses. We ordered a lot of food to share and drinks. I had sliders, parmesan truffle fries, and the Mexican Spring rolls. Everything tasted good, but the Mexican spring rolls stole the show, they were delicious and so flavorful, and I loved the sauce they came with. For cocktails I had the Claire and two shots of the Diablo Dulce. I didn't like my drink The Claire, I wouldn't say it tasted bad but tasted too strong for my liking, it was very cute though. Our waitress Harper brought me a free shot for my birthday which was the Diablo Dulce, and that was a delicious drink. It was so delicious we all ordered a round of that drink, and every one loved it. This place is very cute and has a moody aesthetic inside, loved all the good picture spots it has. The bathroom is a must for pictures. They have a photo booth near the entrance, but be warned it doesn't give a countdown or anything, just walk in smiling and stay like that. Service was wonderful our waitress Harper was amazing, and so sweet. My only complaint was that towards the end of the night we asked the hostess for some matches and she was super rude. Unfortunately, I was pretty underwhelmed with Ritual. The place is beautifully designed and decorated, I was excited to try it out. It's being added to my list of "cute and instagramable, but not much to offer" spots in Dallas. For a cocktail place, the drink menu is limited. They also have a tiny "small bites" menu. I tried the meatballs, truffle fries, and popcorn chicken. I also had a pornstar martini and a biscoff drink that was similar to a carajillo. I felt like everything was just OK. The food wasn't very flavorful, everything aside from the popcorn chicken was lukewarm warm, and I tasted no truffle on the fries. I didn't finish my bsicoff drink, it had a weird aftertaste that was off putting. My friend had a drink with matcha foam that she said she would never get again. The booth is comfortable but the tables are tiny and the non booth seats have no back support. We had a reservation but for some reason they sat everyone in one small area. We were literally squeezed in next to each other. There were plenty of empty tables in the other room. My experience wasn't all bad. The waitress was really friendly and attentive and they gave roses to all the ladies seated. I think this place has the potential to be better but will need a menu revamp. With Colombian country club right across the street, they need to step it up if they're planning on competing for customers. read more

Went here to celebrate my friend's birthday and had a wonderful time! it's not a large place, very dark and cozy vibes. Reservations definitely recommended. Hostess and waitress were both great and really friendly. Service was top notch-- drinks and food brought out promptly, hardly had to wait on anything. I'm giving 4 stars because a couple of the drinks could've been a little better & because it was just too dark for me personally; had to bust out the phone lights to get some good photos for our reviews. We ordered the Parmesan Fries, Sliders, Mexican egg rolls & I got the blush & bloom cocktail. Food was really good, but the sliders were just okay. They only have small bites, so definitely wear head or plan to eat after if you are expecting a heartier meal. There's also a cute Photo Booth out in there front outside lounge area. The music is okay, the only thing u didn't like is the seating is a little cramped and uncomfortable and since this was their first week the owner was visibly anxious and walking around to ensure the staff is doing great, even though I do fully support present owners I just felt like he was too anxious and we couldn't fully relax because it felt like we are a part of trial run. read more

Subject: Arbitrary "Capacity" Rules and Unprofessional Entry Tactics I attempted to visit The Ritual on Saturday, April 18th around 9:30 PM after following the venue on Instagram. Unfortunately, the experience was disqualified at the door. We were met by a staff member whose demeanor was unnecessarily hostile. We were initially told the venue was at capacity, which we accepted. However, while waiting outside, we watched the door staff tell other patrons the same thing--only to pivot five minutes later and offer us entry if we paid a $100-per-person "fee." To be clear: no one had exited the building. It is disappointing to see a venue move from "safety capacity" to "cash-entry" in a matter of minutes. With so many other professional establishments in Dallas, there is no reason to return to one that operates with this level of inconsistency and poor customer service. read more

I'm not a hater but this place has a lot of nerve serving $40 cocktails that taste like sewer water. The vibes here are immaculate. I wanted to stay here and party for a while. But we just couldn't bc the cocktails were so bad. my friend and I ordered an espresso martini. And mind you this cocktail was $40 BEFORE tip. And this drink was literally coffee and vodka mixed drink. It was the worst espresso martini we've ever had in our life. We went back to the bar and asked if they could add any coffee liquor or creamer. And the bartenders said to my face that they don't have coffee liquor. I find this SHOCKING considered that's a key ingredient in an espresso martini. The bartender added some baileys, which helped slightly.
