She walked us through options, provided tastings, and helped us pair the best drink with our meal choice. I absolutely LOVE their potato fries appetizer. I forget what it was called but imagine thin sliced potatoes, smashed together with seasonings, and then fried to a crisp. The best texture and flavor of a potato, soft interior with a crunchy exterior. Their steaks are yummy but what makes it better is the wine pairing. My nephew came by to help me with a project on my apartment Terrace. We were putting together a planter that self watering so of course we ended up starving by 2 o'clock. We ordered pick up from sixty vines because we weren't dressed to sit in. By the time we got back to the apartment the pizza had gotten cold, but it's a nice thin crust with delicious sauce and flavoring. It was really good. We also shared well. My Nephew let me have a few bites of the - Pork Papparedlle -it was absolutely amazing. Very home made taste and texture. Delish!!!!! The pasta was rich but not overly so and packed a punch of flavor. The portion sizes were generous and pricing was right on point for the quality & quantity we got. Came here with a group of 32. This location is so elegant, I felt luxurious being in here! Parking was easy to find, and they validate your parking. The shopping area was so beautiful and dining the restaurant was easy. Upon entry it's just too gorgeous! Very cozy and warm for the winter. We were greeted immediately, and given water. It did take a really long time to place our order, I even had to all them if we could go ahead, but it's understandable when there are 32 at the table. Luckily there had a vegan pizza that I was able to get! It's the mushroom pizza. I wish it had been on regular bread (which not thinking of it maybe I could have asked), not on gluten free bread. I also wish it had tomato sauce on it. It was good, but not the best vegan pizza I have had. I also got a glass of moscato to pair it with. It was great. I will come back because of the atmosphere. We had the cheese board, golden beets, rainbow trout, roasted chicken, and olive oil cake. The dining area is very spacious and the ambiance is great-- upscale without being dark and stuffy. Our server, Allie, was just wonderful in every way. She was knowledgeable, responsive, upbeat, and gave great recommendations. We visited Sixty Vines twice this past weekend -- Friday at the Dallas location and Saturday at the Plano location (which I've been to before). I've also dined at the Dallas location previously, and I have to say, the ambience and overall customer service at both locations are consistently impressive. The atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and very clean -- which I always appreciate. The Dallas location stood out this time because we were celebrating my mom's birthday, and the staff truly made it special. I ordered the bacon shrimp pizza. I'd rate it a 6/10 -- it wasn't my favorite. However, the watermelon margarita was excellent -- refreshing, flavorful, and definitely something I would order again. Our waitress at the Dallas location was incredibly sweet, attentive, and personable. The management team was also extremely kind and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure my mom had an amazing birthday experience, and that meant a lot. Overall, Sixty Vines continues to deliver beautiful ambience, strong service, and a polished dining experience. I had a blast celebrating and will definitely be back. read more

I had no idea Sixty Vines had a location in Dallas, so when my best friend and I stumbled upon it, we had to stop in--and I'm so glad we did. We had the absolute best time. The ambience is beautiful and relaxed, the food was delicious, the wine selection is incredible, and the customer service was top-notch from start to finish. As if that wasn't enough, I even left with the cutest tote bag--such a fun touch! I can't wait to go back. We started with a variety of cocktails, wines, and appetizers, all of which arrived in a timely manner. While the cocktails were enjoyable, some of the appetizers were hit or miss. Always try to get into this place but it's usually packed with a waitlist. We went Saturday for brunch. Very few patrons were there in this huge space. Our server was not unkind but was clearly inexperienced. For example, he brought our food and never once checked on us or asked us how it was, we had to flag him down from chatting with other servers long after we'd given up on eating to ask for the check. We ordered the fritatta which was overcooked with terrible tasting vegetables, we could certainly have done a better job at home. The fries were mediocre. The other dish had hash browns which were tasteless but also the only item that was still hot when served to us. We asked for poached eggs and got soft boiled eggs which essentially was the same effect but not exactly. Everything was lukewarm or cold and under seasoned and the fritatta was so unappealing we couldn't finish it. We're pretty sure there was an element or two missing from one of the dishes we ordered but never saw our server again and didn't have the menu so couldn't double check. For a vegetarian/vegan person, they had plenty of choices. I ended up ordering the vegan and gluten free mushroom pizza which tasted pretty good. It could have used more flavor either through chili oil or something spicier but otherwise the combination was fantastic. I didn't even realize it was lacking cheese and I'm glad they didn't use any of the fake cheese to combat it. Ambiance was nice but service could have been better. I ordered the house kombucha and he could have improved the service by stating what flavor it was and what notes it would have. I feel strange leaving 2 stars review for the restaurant which has such a high rating on Yelp, but... An interesting place. The restaurant offers good selection of wines which you can order in different sizes, so you can basically build your own tasting flight. You can order pours of 2.5 oz, 5 oz (standard glass), half bottle, and a full bottle. All wines are poured from the machine which I'm assuming preserves them. At first, everything was good, we were able to order food relatively quickly and got our first wines. Then service went downhill. We had to wait for anyone to show up to ask for the wine, we even had to ask some random waitstaff to find our server. The food was not amazing but generally solid. Please keep in mind that portion sizes are rather substantial, so 4 dishes from "small plates" section will mostly give you a full dinner for 2. Roasted beets were tasty, and so was roasted cauliflower dish. Mussels were not bad. "Chicken and caviar"'was the strangest dish, because while chicken was well made, the "caviar"'portion was lost on me. We ordered one main dish of rainbow trout to share, and the restaurant was very nice and brought that already split into the two. Oh, one gripe about wines - my red wine was served way too cold, pretty much at a white wine temperature. This doesn't help you to enjoy wine... this is just a mistake... The service problems came back as we were done eating. We were still talking but clearly not eating - our waiter showed up, asked if we need more wine or dessert, and then disappeared so for the next 20 minutes or so we were seating with table fully covered in dirty plates and food leftovers and nobody cared to come and clear the table, despite the fact that restaurant was not very busy at this point. We again had to get out of our way to find our waiter to pay. For the food alone, the experience was solid 4 stars (minus cold red wine). Coupled with the service, I can't give it more than 2 stars, unfortunately. read more

First, the review is 3.5 stars - one of my pet peeves with Yelp. Second, we really wanted to love this place based on the reviews. We dined on a Saturday for lunch - the place was almost empty (big football day), so we anticipated an absolute spot on experience. My wife ordered a macchiato, or thought so - what was delivered was really an espresso... and they forgot the caramel. We should have asked about it at the time. But it also took forever for it to be delivered. It was a lengthy delay for our food too.... And they were not busy at all. I wonder how it is during average or busy service? We had one of the eggs Benedict dishes and their breakfast board. The eggs bennie had one overcooked egg (hard yolk) and one egg with some slight runniness. The smashed potatoes were a great idea but lacked any flavor or seasoning. The server did bring another poached egg, which was spot on. Overall, the eggs bennie was so-so, even with the properly poached egg. The breakfast board had an assortment of bread, avocado, salmon spread, bacon, tomatoes, picked onions, cucumber, and hard boiled egg. It was a nice option and unique in a good way. Our server was very nice, but he disappeared a while after remediating the egg - seems to always happen when I'm ready to pay, haha. Their mimosa bar looked fun, and it is a neat atmosphere for a brunch with a small or even large group. I would like to try it again, perhaps for some of the non-breakfast offerings. read more

When we arrived, we went straight to the bar and were seated right away, no reservation needed, which set the tone for an easy date night. The food was delicious! We shared the hummus and charcuterie board while I sipped on a frosty Frozé (the perfect summer drink). The room was alive with birthdays and bachelorette parties, which made it lively but also very loud. I nearly lost my voice by the end of the night. I have been to Sixty Vines all over the country. The Dallas location is special! I was the first one in my large party (16) to arrive. There was a complementary wine taste in going on that I really enjoyed. The wine was refreshing and the guest wine expert was very professional. We ordered lots of appetizers. I really loved the burrada and the zucchini. I'm so sad. I forgot to take pictures of all of the food. The brussels sprouts were also amazing! I had the pork chop for dinner and it was cooked perfectly and the flavor was extraordinary. Dylan was our server. He was very nice and attentive. He made sure that all of our needs were met.
