I went to watch a USA World Cup game and would def go back. I highly recommend making reservations for any game time viewing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And it is LOUD.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Despite how busy it got, service was very quick. SOOOO many TVs you will be able to see the game no matter where you turn.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a dope place to watch games and hang out with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The screens are huge and there's plenty of space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food wasn't great. I got the nachos and the cheese tasted very cheap and flavorless. I also grabbed a drink and it was quite costly. Between my fiance and I we spent like $120 for nachos and 3 drinks. Didn't feel completely worth it but what can you expect with a restaurant directly next to the AAC

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hero is the perfect lunch date/sports watch party spot. It's extremely spacious with a large area in the back that usually has private parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love the BYOB; some weeks I buy them for meal prep! I love building my bowl with one of the delicious proteins: grilled/fried chicken, salmon or steak (seasoned perfectly). You get to pick 2 sides; I love the sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The rice is good too! I finally had brunch and the French toast sticks were delicious and the tacos were very filling! My friend had the grits and stated "these are way better than I expected" I've always had pretty good service. Overall: 9/10 (the bowls are only available after 3pm; I wish I could get them anytime )

Came here during a 2nd quarter of the mavs game, so it was very very quiet, but it makes sense-they will be busy before and after the mavs game. We were instantly served-the bartender made me a strawberry cosmo. Amazing! We sat for a few minutes and then had to run to the game before half time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is spacious and the bartender was so nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The price of the drinks are high, but not as high as in the venue for the game, which is why we stopped before going to the game. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is luxurious and sporty at the same time, it's a great place to grab drinks pre game![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I really like this bar! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is super cool for drinks and a good time for after Mavericks game hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food could improve but what do you expect from bar food? The ahi tuna tostadas are pricey for only 5 pieces. The tostadas have a good crunch to it but the tuna doesn't taste super fresh. If they actually gave us like a whole plate of tostadas with said toppings it might help. The tuna needs to be swapped out for some fresh ones. We got a pound of tenders and it was good but I really like their tater tots! Was Surprise at how good the tots were! I saw someone else got the fries but they didn't look too appealing

Perfect spot to pregame before a game. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even right before game time it's never overly crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Typical bar food and the service is a bit slow but given the crowds that's kinda expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Always good vibes here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We went for a concert (Twice) and got there early, we got hungry and decided to see what they offered and it didn't disappoint!! We got the tender 1lb basket came with fries for both of us for $20 dollars. The food came out fast and wasn't as packed for a concert. The waitress was nice too. There's games and bowling and more. Overall had a good meal

I must admit, being this close to the American Airlines center I was not expecting much. But let me say that this place is great at what they do! They are the perfect place to go catch a game or pre-game before a game. The food is fantastic which really surprised me. The build your own bowl is a great deal with so many combinations. The service was great and very attentive and I felt everything was reasonably priced. I will absolutely go back!

Came for pre-game dinner prior to Stars. I was really surprised at how well organized they were and how quickly we were seated. Order taken quickly. Ice cold beer on tap and a really great burger and large portion of fries. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.

Hero by HG is a sports bar that benefits from nailing the first rule of real estate: location, location, location. Located right outside the American Airlines Center at PNC Plaza across from the statue of Dirk, Hero is a great place to go before and during a Dallas Mavericks or Stars Game. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere - On game day (only time I've been), the atmosphere is electric. Fans are outside the plaza, inside the restaurant, and the doors are open to welcome you in. Inside is a sports fan's paradise. There are a plethora of flat screen TVs everywhere, tons of seating (booth/table/bar), and a cool bar with a video board that wraps around it 360 degrees[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. 1 Star. Service - I arrived early 5:30 (game at 7:30), and while they weren't busy, they were slow. As gametime grew closer, Hero filled up and service was even slower. The staff was super nice, just slow. 1/2 Star. Food - It's a sports bar with sports bar food. We started with the Super Bowl Nachos with ground beef. The huge portion was easily sharable within my party of three. There were generous portions of everything. But in the end, it was still just nachos. I went with the chicken strips, which were very good. The strips were a big size, were hot and juicy, and came with tasty tater tots. The tots were excellent. Not greasy, crisp on the outside and piping hot on the inside. The tots were the hit of my meal. The only negative was the pricing. There's a cost to the location (and inflation). Our meal was $90 for nachos, two sandwiches, and my chicken strips. Still - I was very satisfied with my meal. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I wouldn't return for the food, but I would return for the atmosphere and location. Hero is right next to Dirk, the AAC, and is a great place to go if you want to soak in a full game day. 1 Star.

This is a sports bar but as you can see they play whatever is popular lol [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to a love island watch party and it was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Themed cocktails, plenty space for large groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will be back. AND the food was above average yet didn't cost you an arm and a leg. It's a great spot! Service was great, professional and fast.

Location Just outside American Airlines Center, Dallas Parking Take the DART and walk Service Outstanding Menu Note-happy hour menus-off season We had the tuna tostadas-loaded. The salad kept on going-we shared and had to get a to go container. Summary [[HIGHLIGHT]]New fav sports bar Dallas downtown. See you there![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Great for pre concert drinks and food at AAC. Very spacious and lots of different rooms, some with games. Food tastes good and the service is fast and efficient.

The restaurant was decorated with a lot of greenery. It's like if a person with a green thumb was allowed an endless budget. The back patio is where my party sat for a late lunch. A bit hot but the server kept the drinks flowing and the laughs kept us cool in between them. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap. It was so damn good. Their fries were as well. I demolished this meal. My son sat at another table with his teammates and ordered the pizza. He loved it and ate the whole thing! Crazy but after a couple water polo matches I am not too shocked. Parking here was a pain but they offer valet, at least on Sundays, to help. The lady's working were very helpful in finding our large party seating.

The location is a bonus, close enough to the trail that we parked once and made a full morning of it. We got there close to opening, and with World Cup later that afternoon the wait was nonexistent. Good timing on our part. The vibe inside is cool and laid back, exactly what you want after a morning outside. Service was friendly from the jump, and the bar clearly knows what they're doing. They make a great Carrajillo, which for me is a non-negotiable bonus. On to the food. I went with the Eggs Benedict and they were top tier, great flavor, well made, and came out fast. My wife got the jalapeño biscuits and gravy, and I'm genuinely glad she did because I was torn between that and what I ordered. I ended up getting bites of both, which was the right outcome for everyone. Both were phenomenal. This one is an easy add to the rotation. The trail, the food, the Carrajillo, it all works together. We're already talking about bringing the work crew back for happy hour.

They have TVs everywhere inside (both floors) and a huge TV outside as well. The restrooms are clean. They have a lot so that helps especially when it's there's a lot of people-- hate going to places with ONE bathroom. A bunch of seating too- lots of high tops upstairs/downstairs, bunch of tables outside & they have a lot of extra chairs. Service is great. Everyone always checks in to ask how everything's going and drinks/ food don't take too long to come out. I do LOVE their flatbreads. I've tried several flatbreads and they are all super tasty and not too expensive. I did appreciate that when Mexico scored during that first game, the servers brought out a bunch of shots free for everyone to celebrate! I thought that was a nice touch since other bars I have been to in the area are not as thoughtful or organized enough to host a lot of people during the World Cup! Sweet touch.
