I went tonight for the love island watch party, wasted my money and can't believe how rude the bartender and the guy leading trivia night were. If yall are going to host a love island night and are going to make rude comments the whole night about how annoying the "shrieking woman" are and how much you hate love island maybe don't host a love island night. The people playing were screaming too but the trivia host was only annoyed by the women. Felt really sexist. Was really excited and so disappointed that they were so unwelcoming. Do better people, or make it a men's only bar. read more

I have gotten the wedge salad twice and it's been very good but the amount and size has been variant on who is making it. I came here with a friend to watch a stars game and loved the vibes! It's smaller occupancy, so I definitely see this place hitting capacity once it starts to warm up a little (they have a great patio with its own bar, corn hole/lawn games, and good tables). Indoors has some tables/seating, dive-y decor, and a pool table! I love the menu and their signature drink offerings, and will be back to try more! The bartenders made great drinks and were very friendly! While we didn't try any, this place also has some food offerings. There is a small lot and plenty of street parking. Stopped in for drinks and apps on a sunny day. The patio is a great place to hang out and watch a game. The bar tender was friendly and upfront about their drinks. She warned me when ordering my Paloma that it wasn't for everyone as it's very prickly pear forward. I found it delicious but agree it's not a Paloma. My husband got the blackberry smash bourbon drink and that was delicious. The food is painfully overpriced ($12 for a small side of queso and salsa to far too many chips). Skip making the corn fritters "hard core" as apparently the $4 is for "seasoning" that we couldn't see. They have corn hole, beer pong, and mega beer pong. Fun place for a group. read more

This place is everything you want a neighborhood bar to be! It feels like you're hanging out with friends in their backyard. I'm excited that they will be expanding with live music and more outside games. Our server, Maddie, was great. She handled all our requests quickly and correctly. We got to meet the owners Ian and Eric and they were so nice!! So excited to have owners who are on site and to see them working with the staff to make sure everyone is happy and having fun. The burgers were enough to make me go back for just them. I love the retro vibe on the menu and the graphics around the restaurant. With the Dallas mural Outside-it really shows that this bar is here for Dallas to enjoy. It's inside/outside with heaters so it's a lot larger than it looks from the front. You can also play pool, beer pong or cornhole and it has a nice well stocked outdoor bar. We didn't make it to the midnight chili but that will be our goal for next time. read more

Was forced to pay a gratuity on one drink. No place should do that to anyone. Especially portraying yourself as a dive bar... you tip a dollar to two dollars per drink or depending on complexity. You don't force someone to pay a tip - if they don't want to leave a tip obviously they're crappy people, but it is what it is. whoever is running things has this a** backwards. For the other readers, when I got a second drink from a different bartender, I was not forced to pay a tip upfront. Also, I was sober, not with a party of people. At 3pm. Very disappointed and how the businesses ran where the bartenders get to choose who they get to grat., I guess based off appearance? probably will never ever return, especially spread the words to my other SI friends. This bar is DOPE. I think it's a great addition to the area. They put a lot of coin into the space and it shows. The backyard area is huge and it looks like they're continuing to build it out. Been a couple times bouncers, and bar backs are great and respectable, but we payed for songs to be played, after 10sec of the song someone in the back skips it and plays their own song. Decided to show the bartender out song was "being played" on the app and some other tech song was playing currently and she said "I don't know what to tell you that's not my problem" Good bar but better service and better understanding would be cool. read more

I can't believe both my partner and I drove here five different times, parked five different occasions, only to receive different quote times for the kitchen. The rope aside indicating they're open, but there establishment is open only to not be. Only for the last time at 7 yesterday to be treated with little to no regard or even be extended a warm greeting by either of the bartenders. I have been overtly enthusiastic and fucking hungry that I wanted to try their food menu. I sat and waited for over 15 minutes, trying to once again to recall the items I wanted to order and make final decisions. It was going to be a spread. This place lacks consistency and fails to communicate to their guests how to proceed. I noticed as I waited how people would puddle around the door. Put a sign up that it's walk up service only, and the kitchen hours as well. After I saw her go up and help a table. She acknowledged us after 20 minutes and still had the audacity to say I had to come up to her. I had about a $50 tip budgeted for this meal on top of the 200 I planned to spend. I'll go make a frito pie myself. We run a bartending business and are on the floor every other night. How annoying - does not belong in the dining or bar scene here. read more
