A fun bar with a dive bar vibe inside and a huge outdoor area with lots of seating. The Paloma was super refreshing!

Love the Texas vibe - food not bad, drinks a tad over priced. Tuesday nights we got buy one get one free burgers. Also have had the corn nuggets and Debbie does dallas dessert - both delish! Also love that it's dog friendly. :)

Indoor bar - love the decor they found for the entire bar! Fun, Texas dive vibes

I came here with a friend to watch a stars game and loved the vibes! It's smaller occupancy, so I definitely see this place hitting capacity once it starts to warm up a little (they have a great patio with its own bar, corn hole/lawn games, and good tables). Indoors has some tables/seating, dive-y decor, and a pool table! I love the menu and their signature drink offerings, and will be back to try more! The bartenders made great drinks and were very friendly! While we didn't try any, this place also has some food offerings. There is a small lot and plenty of street parking. I look forward to visiting again and highly recommend checking this spot out if you like the dive-y vibe and fun cocktails!

Stopped in for drinks and apps on a sunny day. The patio is a great place to hang out and watch a game. The bar tender was friendly and upfront about their drinks. She warned me when ordering my Paloma that it wasn't for everyone as it's very prickly pear forward. I found it delicious but agree it's not a Paloma. My husband got the blackberry smash bourbon drink and that was delicious. The food is painfully overpriced ($12 for a small side of queso and salsa to far too many chips). Skip making the corn fritters "hard core" as apparently the $4 is for "seasoning" that we couldn't see. They have corn hole, beer pong, and mega beer pong. Fun place for a group.

Drink menu. Such a cute menu, funny captions and I love the design!

This place is everything you want a neighborhood bar to be! It feels like you're hanging out with friends in their backyard. I'm excited that they will be expanding with live music and more outside games. Our server, Maddie, was great. She handled all our requests quickly and correctly. We got to meet the owners Ian and Eric and they were so nice!! So excited to have owners who are on site and to see them working with the staff to make sure everyone is happy and having fun. The burgers were enough to make me go back for just them. I love the retro vibe on the menu and the graphics around the restaurant. With the Dallas mural Outside-it really shows that this bar is here for Dallas to enjoy. It's inside/outside with heaters so it's a lot larger than it looks from the front. You can also play pool, beer pong or cornhole and it has a nice well stocked outdoor bar. We didn't make it to the midnight chili but that will be our goal for next time.

A nice surprising place in East Dallas. Rodeo Cold was really chill and special. They have beer on tap, and I heard the food was really good here for bar food. I wanted to try the chili because my friends said it was really good and they had run out. I'll have to go back, worth it for round two and try the chili out

I came for "just one pint" and left three days later wearing someone else's sweater, speaking in a…read morequestionable accent, and convinced I'm 1/16th Irish on my mother's side (DNA test still pending). The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.

The patio was spotless and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in the details. The food was just as impressive. Everything tasted fresh, and the pulled pork chili was a standout--rich, flavorful, and easily one of the best I've had. If you're on the fence about trying it, don't be. I'll definitely be coming back.

We had a reservation but probably would have been seated right away anyway, but again it was a holiday and they got super busy before we left so I'm sure that was not typical. Our server was good but service was super slow and I had to remind them of things a couple of times. For larger groups they have one really large booth and several pub height tables. The only issue with those is the chairs are not comfortable, especially for short people and there is nowhere to put your feet to make it more comfortable. That's a thing for me...if you're short, you understand. Other than that, it's a large dining area with a rolling garage type door that opens up during good weather and a nice size patio area. Parking can be scarce in the neighborhood but if you don't mind walking a couple of blocks, you're good. I ordered the bagel sandwich and it did not disappoint! The chicken was perfectly fried. The seasoning and batter combined with the pickles on the bun reminded me of a certain competitor that is closed on Sundays. The egg was well done and the ham grilled with just a touch of char to it. It was a hearty sandwich that turned into two meals. The purple potato bacon'd hash is so good, and it looks like a small portion but it's very filling. We also got an order of the roasted apple pie pancakes to share (and still had leftovers!) and they were so fluffy and decadent. Not overly sweet, but sweet enough. The food is easily a 5 while the service on this visit was just a 3-4 but still good. Nothing that will keep us from going back, for sure.

It was a few days before Thanksgiving, there was a decent crowd in the bar and everyone including the bartender (who's name I now cant remember because I took so long to write this) were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was warm, cozy and decked out in Christmas decor (and cute bathroom wallpaper). Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Dallas.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.
