This place was simply amazing! My date found this lounge, and I was so excited to try it out--and it definitely lived up to the hype. They offer a great selection of cocktails and small appetizers. One thing I'd recommend is checking in advance about the seating arrangements. We had reservations but were seated right in the middle of the stage area. The tables and seats were quite small (even for us, and we're not particularly tall or big), but it ended up working out just fine. We actually enjoyed being that close to the action. The entertainment was phenomenal--live music, fantastic ambiance, and incredibly talented singers who truly engaged the audience. They even encouraged us to get up and dance, which was the highlight of my night! The cocktails were strong and flavorful, and the food was delicious. We tried the spicy pot stickers and the crispy tots--both were excellent. My favorite drink of the night was the Dragon Lady--so good! This is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a classy night out with live music, singing, and a fun, high-energy vibe. Went there on a Thursday evening to see how it. I sat up at the bar which I was by myself. I Ordered an old fashion, which they ended up using Woodford reserve old fashion mix. They charged $19 for a drink they couldn't make without using a mix to make. They n when I cashed out noticed the bill was $25 which thought was weird. Looked at the bill and they included a 20% tip. Again I'm a party of one and ordered one drink. I probably would have tips that anyway, but found it off putting that they had the receipt under the two credit card receipts for me to add more tip, which if I hadn't been -saying attention I would have. Never heard of a bar adding tip for a party of one. Feel this is incredibly dishonest one not telling people you have added the tip and why are you evening adding the tip for a party less than 6. read more

Let me start by saying I think they might have had an off night because it was Valentine weekend and it was very busy. My friend has been here a couple times and had a great things to say, so I was very disappointed/concerned during my visit. The only good thing there was the service and the drinks. The ambience was nice too but the music was just too loud to have a conversation. Now let's get into the food. I started off with the shrimp stuffed scallops. They were over cooked and rubbery. I would not recommend. Sea bass, it has a spicy warning lol. Nothing about it was spicy. No seasoning/flavor on the Sea bass, no sauce or anything to dip it in. It was very very bland. I couldn't eat it, and also tasted like it was frozen, iykyk. (SN: the entree came out before the appetizer. I didn't like that.) I sent it back and got the rock shrimp and combination fried rice. The rock shrimp was 2/10 at best. The combination fried rice was so salty. I couldn't even finish my one bite. I let my friend try it, and they also agreed that it was very very salty. We had to send that back as well. I thought, let me give the menu one more try and I got the crispy rice with the tuna on top. Another fail, the crispy rice was so hard my knife couldn't even divide it. I've had crispy rice before and it has never been this hard. It was so hard to chew and parts of rice was hurting the inside of my mouth, and I'm not being dramatic. After that I said I'm not gonna try anything else and I just enjoyed a spicy margarita and called it a night. Like I said, this might've been an off night but I don't think I'll be back. I came by and spoke with Case Mccone who was no help. While Airik Chang emailed me saying he "Not having seen the incident myself i would have zero input to add." I co-hosted a holiday party there with five of my best friends for about 200 and could not have been more pleased! The service was attentive, the food delish, the craft cocktails divine, and the ambiance was a hit with the crowd. Many of the guests had never been there and were blown away by the space, saying it reminded them of a NYC speakeasy back in the day. I have had nothing but compliments on the party. Went here for a triple date night. The food and live music were awesome! However, our waitress seemed to be extremely annoyed and bothered the entire time. She rolled her eyes and stomped around anytime we asked her for anything. We had a reservation for 7:15pm that we prepaid for. After about 3 hours of eating and drinking a bus boy came to our table, handed us the check, and told us another party was waiting for our table and we needed to close out in 15 minutes. After looking at our check we realized we were charged for all kinds of extra things we did not order or receive.. like $200 worth. We went through the bill with a manager, he adjusted it, and the waitress slammed our mostly correct tab on the table. Someone from our party spoke with another waiter/manager explaining the situation and he told us we could stay and that the next round was on him. When he came to take the order he informed us that he meant only standard drinks and not specialty cocktails, which most the table had already ordered and paid for. Shots were then brought over by the waitress and she angrily apologized. After having the "complimentary" drinks we were brought a tab for all the drinks minus the shots. The man who promised them said he only meant free shots... We paid for the free drinks just to get out of there. They said they would refund the money for that tab, but to my knowledge, that has not been done yet. I have never had such a chaotic and unprofessional experience drinking/dining anywhere in my life. Went here with my family and was denied entry due to my father wearing a longe sleeve button down and dress shorts. The manager of Mason Chinoise made it a huge deal like an elder man wearing shorts in 85 degree weather was provocative. Come on your food sucks and nobu treats people better get the chip off your shoulder. They gladly admit men wearing ripped jeans and cotton t shirts but please cover your knees even if you have a Rolex. A lot of hype, very disappointing. Made a reservation several weeks in advance for friends visiting from out of town. We were seated at a back table with uncomfortable spotlights over us. We ordered several items, including the miso salmon roll, hamachi, and others that were so fishy they were inedible. Waitress did not know the menu- for example, there were 4 of us at the table and we tried to confirm how many spoons were included with the "lobster on the spoon" so that we could order a full round for the table if needed. She confirmed 4, and only 3 arrived. Nothing was done to compensate. $500+ lost (every time hoping the next thing we tried would be better), regretted our decision. Will not return, all scene and no substance. Would make much more sense operating as a lounge/nightclub rather than a restaurant, overheard several people saying they prefer to eat at the Chinese restaurant next door prior to- but coming for drinks alone is not practical with a $75 pp minimum (which they make sure to remind you of at the door). read more

We celebrated a friend's birthday in Regines a week ago and the experience was truly one of the best. The atmosphere and live music were nice, the drinks and food were delicious; we had the best service from our waitress Masiel, she was very sweet, respectful and attentive, her menu recommendations were spot on and she took care of every detail, she was always making sure we didn't miss anything, which I appreciated because we were a large group of people, I will definitely ask her to be our waitress on my next visit.
