We stopped in for some dinner to take to our room at the Omni. We ordered a hamburger and the steak and fries. Both of our meals were very good and made excellent leftover cheesy steak fries when we returned home. The cocktails were pretty pricey and I would probably pass on that next time. Emilio was our bartender and waiter and his service was impeccable. He was very friendly and helpful. I thought the atmosphere was amazing and this would be a great place to watch sports. In fact, we watched some OU women's gymnastics on the big screen televisions. BOOMER!
Little pricey. Good food. The Owners Box is located on the first floor of the Omni Hotel, next to Bobs steakhouse. Initially i thought this place was Bobs Steakhouse but I had to turn right to enter their restaurant. I was in Texas for two weeks and ate nothing but meat. So I got their healthy vegan bowl ($18) and a dessert called Death by Chocolate ($12). I thought the vegan bowl was good. Their dessert was okay. My water had a fly in it. This restaurant is a sports themed restaurant and probably a good place to drink and watch the games. The food is a bit pricey because it's located inside the restaurant but not stupid expensive.

Summary Great location, special valet parking, outstanding service, fresh food!! Love this place!!
The food here is mid at best. There's really nothing on the menu that's memorable or worth ordering a second time except for the pretzel bites. While attending a conference at the hotel, we ended up eating here for lunch four days in a row. Every single time, we ordered the pretzel bites. They are truly the star of the show and easily the best thing on the menu. Halfway through the trip, I did manage to level up by ordering my fries with a side of beer cheese. While six dollars for a side of beer cheese is a bit ridiculous, it does take the fries to the next level. Since I attend a conference at this hotel every year, I'll be looking forward to the pretzel bites again next year even if that's the only thing worth returning for.

At a sports bar really disappointed in a highly rated hotel and restaurants nearby they didn't have tvs that would stream a football game. I think they would have been more packed if so. So since we were already there and made an effort to go just to watch the game we had a few drinks and shared an appetizer. The drinks were okay. Service was wonderful I think we were the only ones there other than a larger group that came in later and a few at the bar. The wings were dry and come celery was soggy. Yuk but I would come back and enjoy a game that is one of the big screens at least. More of social place not so much drink or food. It was nice place and I'm already planning to go back w friends to play pool and watch cowboys game for sure they have to play those. Our waiter was really good and nice. Note: they recently remolded so it's all new.

A key component of a trip well travelled is the refreshing meal waiting for you at the end of a long plane ride. Staying at the Omni in Dallas, you'll find a lot of options on this front, and The Owners Box is an excellent choice for something simple done well. The Caesars salad with chicken gave me energy to get back to work, and that's really all I needed. The tv screens are a little distracting if you're trying to have a conversation but that's fairly well advertised right out the gate so you get what see.
Located in Omni Hotel. Great sports bar with lots of TVs and seating options. Had the cheeseburger and fries which was good. Miss Picky had the grilled cheese and liked it on sourdough bread. Friendly staff and valet parking.
The food was great, but what really stood out was the atmosphere--relaxed, inviting, and perfect for a night out. Drinks were reasonably priced, which is always a plus. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Inside the Omni Hotel Convention center Dallas, this place is a vibe and makes for decent room service. Portions are large and seasoned well. The staff and manager ensures service is to your liking. While I have stayed here a few times, I've never indulged in the bar setting American cuisine since there is also a bobs steak and chop house in this hotel. That said, the food was prepared hot, fresh and presentation was great. But my order had a mixup and the manager made it right. I would likely try it again, just not 5 mins before closing as room service. The ambience is breathtaking especially for someone who moved from Dallas. I love the visuals at the entrance. Didn't snap a shot of the food because it wasn't my correct order. It was in fact excellently presented and looks like the burger in all the photos.

They do some strong martinis and good amount of bourbon options. Seating involves bar stool seating, lounge seating, hightop seating, and table seating. Plenty of tvs around get your sports watching. As for food, it's typical greasy bar eats. I did the chicken sandwich which was alright with the fries. The wings are pretty good, the added jalapenos give a spicy touch to it. Also the kettle chips are a good snack for a quick munch. The loaded fries, I didn't really care for. The bacon, cheese, scallions, and green sauce don't add much flavor to it but if you've had plenty of booze, it'll be the best appetizer you've had. While there are better options, this is a decent spot if you don't feel like leaving the hotel and want something close.

Keeping in mind the hotel is also hosting a 5000 visitor conference...As a result the volume was turned up and the crowd got louder. The menu was a bit lacking with only a few items in each category. Though the BBQ bacon burger was great, pretzel was a little tough, but beer cheese delicious. Buffalo wings were good, but didn't need the jalapeños on top. I came in here excited. Big Tvs. Nice decorations. And it wasnt that busy. Walked in at 2:20PM and was sat by the server immediately. Its now 2:53 and still not one server has approached me. Very ridiculous. Literally made eye contact with 3 of them! Lol i dont know why im not getting service. Really upsetting this treatment. Stayed here just to write this review hoping I'll still get service. But nothing. Leaving now and never getting this shunned treatment. read more

Not much open at this time so came in to grab a quick bite after arriving. Our server Ndidi was very friendly and provided good recommendations. The humus came with lots of vegetable, maybe a little too much compared to the amount of hummus, the fried garbanzo beans mixed in was a nice touch. We came here after being absolutely disappointed at the Christmas pop up bar "Blitzens". That bar was a total waste of time, we should have came to the owners box from the beginning. They were packed but we managed to get seated within 10 minutes. The big screens are a huge plus when you are there to watch a good game. The vibes are always good here. The desserts were amazing! The Owners Box atmosphere is superb. Came here for lunch during a trade show and Jennifer is hands down on the ball! She was funny, engaging and made my experience relaxing. The food was incredible for a sports bar. Thank you Owners Box for knowing the kind of staff you need to create a unique and electric environment! Will be back for sure. I came to The Owners Box for lunch and had the BBQ Burger. Service was good and pretty quick but the burger was just okay. I came back Wednesday night and our server was Yasmin W. She was AMAZING and she had a fairly large section. She recommend drinks, check in often and was hospitable! We had a friend join us after we paid and Yasmin didn't mind at all which we appreciated. My friend had the burger again and I had the Texas fries and Buffalo wings. It was all good! They have large screens plying popular sports games so it was a great environment. read more

Went to the owners box to watch SNF & retuned for MNF. The first night we got pretzel bites for an app which were SO good. The beer cheese is amazing and they give you more than enough. We kept some for our fries. We got grilled cheese with fries and a hamburger with fries. The burger was great and fries were amazing. The grilled cheese was okay, I would try something else if I went back. The second night we came for dessert but also got the pretzel bites again. We got the death by chocolate cake which was not what we were expecting. It was kind of a pudding cake which various toppings around it. It was okay. We were expecting an actual piece of cake. We also got the cookies and cream shake which was good. The service was good but kind of slow. Looked to be only 3 servers for the entire restaurant read more

I used to come here often and the location and bar itself is amazing. so many flat screen large tvs with pool table plenty of bar space with full bar options to choose from as well as a great and attentive staff. The only issue now is while all of that is great the food was lacking alot. The chicken sandwich was dry and bland and the chicken wings were ok, but still could have used some flavor as well. read more

Go for the drinks and maybe get some food. Only place open near amtrack in the great January freeze of 23. Ran over and got a burger Togo. Bartender was cool and Togo order was fast. Burger was just ok but good service and the place had a good vibe. Had a decent selection of whiskey and other spirits. If you are at the Omni and looking for a spot this will work! read more

I ate here a few times while at the conference center which is at the same location. Each encounter with the staff was great. They were friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere if you're dining in. Twice I grabbed food to go. I had the garden salad and chicken. It was good but the chicken is very generic. I'm not sure if they buy it pre-cooked and they just warm it? The second time I ordered the garden salad it was missing pecans. The third time I ordered (second to go), I ordered what I thought was a salad. Pay attention to the listings. I was surprised to see a chicken breast, tomatoes sliced like they would be for a burger and a portion of an unripe avacado when I ordered the Seared Chicken & Spicy Avocado off the menu. The chicken didn't appear to be seared. The spicy avacado wasn't spicy...it had chili powder spice on it. Not impressed with this entree (added a photo). read more

Came here a couple times for lunch & drinks when staying at the hotel. Ate the cheeseburger the one afternoon before heading to the pool as the pool bar wasn't open yet. Doesn't open till 3pm. Everytime I came was pretty busy. Good crowd. I did eventually get a spot at the bar each time though. Really enjoy the decor. Fun sports place. Tons of TVs which I loved. read more

What an amazing sports bar! I've been here several times during my stay at the Omni Hotel. If your into sports, you will love this bar. TV's are everywhere!!! The ambiance is amazing, as are the lemon martinis. . I couldn't stop drinking them. If your staying at the Omni and want to relax & watch the game, I highly recommend The Owners Box. read more
