    Yaneth at your service
    Paul M.

I had the tacos off of the small plates menu. Three little nuggets of deliciousness on little pancakes. They were very good, and just right for one person at lunch. Yaneth provided excellent service and conversation while I sat at the bar and enjoyed my lunch. The restaurant is well laid out, with lots of seating and comfortable decor. They have a really nice outside seating area as well, sitting under some trees out of the direct sunlight.

So I went to an Experience Event they host several times a year at Texas Spice. You have to prepay as they need a head count in advance. The event is Farm to Flame! It was well organized and I really enjoyed it. It's a vibe and such a cool and FUN experience. It's pricey, but definitely worth the drive, time and COST! They set it up in a private area of the restaurant. It's outside on the back patio and you get to have a live BBQ dining experience. The chef is grilling and cooking the food. He also is very passionate and discusses why BBQ is so important. The decor is so country chic. I loved the tiny details of the table. It's such a cute space and you get to make your own seasoning blend. The drinks are flowing and the food is so GOOD! You get to try brisket, turkey, chicken and all the fixings. For the sides you have beans, slaw and greens. You get rolls and veggies, multiple sauces, pickles and onions. You get even more than what I said. Then you will finish it off with the dessert. They offer several options for cocktails. I chose a a spicy margarita and a lemon drop. They were both tasty. The bartenders were friendly, helpful and so nice. You have a live music experience. The guitar player was good. It was nice to have entertainment. This definitely is an experience that I would suggest. It's a FOODIE dream. I left so happy and full. The food, service and ambiance were AMAZING. The only slightly negative thing is the picnic tables were not my favorite. I like chairs with backs, but it was still a nice set up. It felt like a community meeting and chatting with people I didn't know. I was so pleased and look forward to coming back.

Super delicious! Located on the first floor of Omni Hotel. Texas Spice restaurant serves all sorts of food like steak, tacos, roasted chicken, salmon, etc. I came here twice. I ordered the Texas Strip Steak Frites ($38). Good portion of steak and asked for mashed potato as my side. Really loved the food! Steak was seasoned and cooked very well. The mashed potato is one of the best I ever ate. Also I ordered dessert, I ordered Dr Pepper Texas Sheet Cake ($12). This was my favorite. I liked it more than the steak. Perfect sweetness, well presented, and really good texture. The following day, I ordered to-go order. I ordered Texas Spice Burger ($21). It was good, but didn't like the fries. It's super salty and too much seasoning. I ate half of it because it was way too salty. Staffs were friendly. Interior has good vibes. There's a bar if you want to drink at the bar. Would recommend eating here.

Decided to stop in Texas Spice for brunch as we were at the convention center. Miriam was our server and she also explained they had a weekend brunch buffet with offerings of personalized omlette and waffle station. What a great deal! Opted for the brunch buffet for $26. Lots of tasty options for sure.

Will return for the decor, service and food. High ceiling, industrial, large lighting features, booths and tables. Outdoor has couple of fire going on in a 74 degree Friday in May, before 12 noon. Service is good. We were initially seated by the wall. When asked to sit by the window - that looks out to the red flying horse - the renovated Pegasus - they changed without any fuss. Servers came immediately with water. We've a light lunch: Artisan salad and grill cheese - both are good. Some chai cushion could use 'renovation' as well.

Went here for lunch after a conference and the place is nice! We were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter Ben right away. Service was great and we both ordered their Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup. The soup was thick and was pretty good. The grilled cheese was a bit greasy to the touch but still good. Overall, it was a good lunch with many options on their menu.

For context, I came here for the Thanksgiving buffet this year Pros: - Very kids friendly with food selection that can be good for kids such as fries& tater tots, eggs, and chicken fingers. - Incredible selection of food with great service of waiters being fast to take drink orders and clearing plates. i loved the Picanha putting some chimichurri on top - Awesome view and ambiance of the restaurant where you feel like you are at a very nice atmosphere. - Cost was very reasonable especially for a Thanksgiving special and in an upscale hotel. Also loved the to-go thanksgiving cake as a take home gift! Cons: - Alcoholic drinks are extra including the mimosa and bloody mary bar which were on the higher side and needs to be paid upon order either through card or room number. - Parking situation was a bit confusing, but you can go to the omni parking garage with a card or phone number entered to get into the gate. Then Texas Spice will give you a bar code that allows you to exit the garage without having to pay for the first 4 hours Overall, i was very pleased with my meal and would recommend to others without hesitation

What an amazing day!!!! We were greeted at check in with a glass of complimentary champagne. We were then introduced to all the various, amazingly delicious stations, table service, full bar, build your own bouquet, live band AND when we left, Mom's received a small Bundt cake to take home. Service was top notch!!!!

Everything we tried was delicious. We did have a private room for our gathering and had some trouble meeting the minimum amount we were supposed to spend so we ended up taking a bottle of wine to go and that topped off our charges.

Texas Spice is a restaurant located within the Omni Hotel. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We specifically dined in for breakfast. We started off with two pineapple mimosas and water of course. For entrees we ordered the Texas Spice Breakfast Sandwich and the Black Bean Potato Hash. Sandwich: 6/10 Hash: 10/10 When my sandwich arrived it didn't have the caramelized onions that it stated it came with. Obviously, I'm annoyed. Our waitress was not the friendliest and after informing her, it seemed as if I was bothering her...ummm ma'am I'm the only one that should be bothered. Honey, I didn't forget the onions and neither did you so just let the kitchen staff know maybe? I have grievances because once the food came out what should have taken place was her stopping by to ask how everything looked and if anything additionally was needed. That didn't happen. We had to ask another waitress/server for the onions and to please get her attention. That's too much and not good service. Thankfully, the other waitress was attentive. We finally received the onions and that made the sandwich much better. The brioche bun helped and along with the avocado that my breakfast partner shared. The eggs were bland and not seasoned. I also didn't want to eat cold food. After finishing up, she seemed to have a little more pep in her step and appeared more attentive. Being that she knew she wasn't providing good service she didn't charge us for the mimosas. That made the experience a little better, but I for sure would not go back to Texas Spice. Four stars because it's connected to the Omni and for the other positive highlights. Go if you want, I don't know.

We went here because we were staying at the hotel this is located at. Because we went so late at night, it wasn't super busy and it looked like a modern restaurant. There was about 10 of us and we actually showed up closer to the time it was going to close, but they willingly sat us and stayed open longer for us. The staff themselves were really nice too. We got some dip and chips, burgers, salads, and tomato soup. The soup was delicious and overall the food was good.

    Huevos Rancheros
    Nicolas L.

I visited Texas Spice for breakfast while staying at the Omni in Dallas and had a nice experience. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Crisp tortillas were topped with flavorful spicy chorizo, savory refried black beans, a yolky fried egg and soft diced avocado. Overall this was a quality and convenient breakfast for those staying at the Omni

Breakfast buffet - AYCE - Also has an omlette station in the back. As of 12/12/2023 AYCE price is $27

We were huge fans of Meddlesome Moth(which had closed a few months prior). The beer list didn't excite me(I'm a beer snob) but the bar vibe and the great staff quickly made me forget about that. We eat there twice a month now and when we don't get in on a regular schedule, we really miss it. I'm a huge fan of the steak frites and my wife loves the weekly pasta dishes which never disappoint. The cocktails are great and they're made by the friendliest barkeeps in town(Matt, Christine) Christopher keeps the place flowing and Brittani(owner) is great and always welcoming. The overall vibe is comfy and totally unpretentious. Goldies is a hidden gem but has quickly become a popular spot. Great spots like this don't stay hidden very long. Highly recommended! Carter L

Food, however, wasn't great, we came multiple times last year and it was fantastic all around, last night?... New risotto appetizer was flavorless 4/10, sauce was outstanding 9/10. Chicken meatballs were 6/10, salty, but sauce again was 8.5/10. Bread with the meatballs was 9/10. Nightly special was 9/10, chicken thigh wrapped chicken leg, amazing sauce and carrots. Special sauce with the nightly special stole the night at 9.5/10 - I'd order a bowl of that and call it a night! Magic Chicken Thighs were 6/10, overly salted and dry - side arugula salad was a salt bomb 2/10. Sweet potatoe purée was 7.5/10. Burger and fries were 7/10, solid and above average. Salmon was 7/10, slightly overcooked. Mac & Cheese was 3/10, below average, dry, almost flavorless - paid $4 for bacon topping and it was dry also. Noodles were dried out and the cheese sauce was at the bottom of the cup, tasted like they scooped in pre-made noodles, added sauce, threw it in the oven and off it went - didn't appear mixed together at the least. Carrots, solid 8/10. Overall, I'd be tempted to give it another try, the ambiance and overall feel is awesome - then hope the food is great again and make it a perfect Friday night spot, but for $275 for the 4 entree's, 2 appetizer's and 2 drinks we got last night? I'd argue it wasn't worth it.

I decided to give Sixty Vines a try while I was in Dallas for the weekend, and I'm so glad I did!…read moreWe stopped in on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, which made it a great time to enjoy the space without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Our server was wonderful and definitely added to the experience. She was especially helpful when we were choosing the cheeses for our charcuterie board, offering suggestions and helping us put together a combination that worked really well. Of course, the main reason we stopped in was the Frozen Espresso Martini, which had been highly recommended to us--and whoever made that recommendation deserves some credit because it did not disappoint! It was exactly the kind of indulgent afternoon drink I was hoping for. We were also told that we should try the Frosé, so that's officially on my list for the next visit. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to try it when I'm back in town. I really enjoyed the design of the restaurant as well. The dining areas and bar have a very open, comfortable feel without being overly loud or chaotic. It struck a nice balance between being lively and still allowing you to actually enjoy your conversation. We only came in for charcuterie and drinks, so I didn't get the chance to experience the full food menu, but I was still genuinely impressed with the overall experience. If I'm back in Dallas, I'd definitely return--and next time, I'd love to sit down for an actual meal and explore more of the menu. Overall, Sixty Vines was a great afternoon stop: friendly service, a beautiful and comfortable space, and a Frozen Espresso Martini worth making a trip for. I'd happily visit this location again or check out another Sixty Vines in a future city. The Frozen Espresso Martini was definitely the right recommendation.

I ended up only ordering a drink and an appetizer because I was so disappointed I didn't want to go further. $23.75 Joey Martini - just a simple dry vodka martini w Kettle One. But the description lured me in with the promise of a fantastic martini with an "extra martini on the side". What I received was a half of a martini with the rest of my martini in a shaker next to it. The martini was fine but nothing special. Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it. Go somewhere else - I'm including a pic of the "hummus" reveal so you see what I'm talking about
