Will return for the decor, service and food. High ceiling, industrial, large lighting features, booths and tables. Outdoor has couple of fire going on in a 74 degree Friday in May, before 12 noon. Service is good. We were initially seated by the wall. When asked to sit by the window - that looks out to the red flying horse - the renovated Pegasus - they changed without any fuss. Servers came immediately with water. We've a light lunch: Artisan salad and grill cheese - both are good. Some chai cushion could use 'renovation' as well.

Went here for lunch after a conference and the place is nice! We were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter Ben right away. Service was great and we both ordered their Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup. The soup was thick and was pretty good. The grilled cheese was a bit greasy to the touch but still good. Overall, it was a good lunch with many options on their menu.

For context, I came here for the Thanksgiving buffet this year Pros: - Very kids friendly with food selection that can be good for kids such as fries& tater tots, eggs, and chicken fingers. - Incredible selection of food with great service of waiters being fast to take drink orders and clearing plates. i loved the Picanha putting some chimichurri on top - Awesome view and ambiance of the restaurant where you feel like you are at a very nice atmosphere. - Cost was very reasonable especially for a Thanksgiving special and in an upscale hotel. Also loved the to-go thanksgiving cake as a take home gift! Cons: - Alcoholic drinks are extra including the mimosa and bloody mary bar which were on the higher side and needs to be paid upon order either through card or room number. - Parking situation was a bit confusing, but you can go to the omni parking garage with a card or phone number entered to get into the gate. Then Texas Spice will give you a bar code that allows you to exit the garage without having to pay for the first 4 hours Overall, i was very pleased with my meal and would recommend to others without hesitation

What an amazing day!!!! We were greeted at check in with a glass of complimentary champagne. We were then introduced to all the various, amazingly delicious stations, table service, full bar, build your own bouquet, live band AND when we left, Mom's received a small Bundt cake to take home. Service was top notch!!!!

Everything we tried was delicious. We did have a private room for our gathering and had some trouble meeting the minimum amount we were supposed to spend so we ended up taking a bottle of wine to go and that topped off our charges.

Texas Spice is a restaurant located within the Omni Hotel. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We specifically dined in for breakfast. We started off with two pineapple mimosas and water of course. For entrees we ordered the Texas Spice Breakfast Sandwich and the Black Bean Potato Hash. Sandwich: 6/10 Hash: 10/10 When my sandwich arrived it didn't have the caramelized onions that it stated it came with. Obviously, I'm annoyed. Our waitress was not the friendliest and after informing her, it seemed as if I was bothering her...ummm ma'am I'm the only one that should be bothered. Honey, I didn't forget the onions and neither did you so just let the kitchen staff know maybe? I have grievances because once the food came out what should have taken place was her stopping by to ask how everything looked and if anything additionally was needed. That didn't happen. We had to ask another waitress/server for the onions and to please get her attention. That's too much and not good service. Thankfully, the other waitress was attentive. We finally received the onions and that made the sandwich much better. The brioche bun helped and along with the avocado that my breakfast partner shared. The eggs were bland and not seasoned. I also didn't want to eat cold food. After finishing up, she seemed to have a little more pep in her step and appeared more attentive. Being that she knew she wasn't providing good service she didn't charge us for the mimosas. That made the experience a little better, but I for sure would not go back to Texas Spice. Four stars because it's connected to the Omni and for the other positive highlights. Go if you want, I don't know.

We went here because we were staying at the hotel this is located at. Because we went so late at night, it wasn't super busy and it looked like a modern restaurant. There was about 10 of us and we actually showed up closer to the time it was going to close, but they willingly sat us and stayed open longer for us. The staff themselves were really nice too. We got some dip and chips, burgers, salads, and tomato soup. The soup was delicious and overall the food was good.

I visited Texas Spice for breakfast while staying at the Omni in Dallas and had a nice experience. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Crisp tortillas were topped with flavorful spicy chorizo, savory refried black beans, a yolky fried egg and soft diced avocado. Overall this was a quality and convenient breakfast for those staying at the Omni

The food was amazing and such a great location. The inside was beautifully decorated.

    Discolored pieces of romaine lettuce

This restaurant is inside the Omni Dallas hotel. They do not allow to-go orders by phone or online to-go orders. You have to go there in person to place a to-go order which means waiting on it to be made or making 2 trips. The restaurant's ambiance is upscale and professional. I ordered the smoked chicken cobb salad. Most of the romaine lettuce, the boiled egg, the bacon bits, tomatoes, and the avocado looked and tasted fresh. There were a number of discolored pieces of romaine lettuce that looked unappetizing. The smoked chicken looked very processed like it'd been frozen, was very very dry, and smelled strong. They only included one small side of dressing for an entree size salad. They should have included 2 small containers or 1 larger size dressing container. For a $20 salad, I think they could do better. Minus the chicken and bad lettuce pieces, I'd say the salad was 4 out of 5 stars. The dry chicken gets 1 star.

Breakfast buffet - AYCE - Also has an omlette station in the back. As of 12/12/2023 AYCE price is $27

Texas spice and everything nice! This review is solely for the AYCE breakfast buffet. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet offers up a diverse selection of dishes, ranging from 2 types of scrambled eggs, 2 types of sausage links, a meat pattie, crispy bacon, gravy and biscuits, oatmeal, bagels, fruit, yogurt and so much more. There is an omlette station where they create some delicious omlettes and waffles. The quality of the food was very good as the fresh ingredients were evident to my pallette, and the buffet area is clean and well-maintained. Overall the service was exceptional and ambiance was Awesome! All this played a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience, You can order ala carte but the AYCE is a very convenient option for a delicious hearty breakfast and makes for a quick exit if you're in a rush for time, just make sure you pay your bill first! :)

Great hospitality and culinary creations in the Omni Hotel's restaurant. Cozy environment right in the heart of Downtown Dallas. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Especially enjoyed the bartender's off-menu mocktail creation upon request. Nice mix of Texas/Anerican standards and some fusion concepts.

    Yummy!!!!!!!!!

Also, my food did come out cold the first time and when I sent it back to her heated up she was not very nice about it. I give her a pass because it was closer to closing time when my party sat down but honestly, it didn't matter if the atmosphere and food was good the second time it came out or not. They were not the big round ones like you get in the store. They were smaller squares. They were filled with some delicious filling, and I think it was record and mushrooms. I'm not sure and then there was shrimps on top and it was in a wonderful white sauce that tasted buttery and lemonade. It was delicious and then the steak the steak was sliced and cooked to perfection. It was great. It i is definitely five star.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

The mimosa was a build your own, it came with 3 juices - orange, pineapple and cranberry - and you got to pour as much or as little juice as you wanted. Between the two of us, we each got about 3 glasses. I got the French toast, which tasted like a deep fried donut, in a good way. The outside was crunchy, the inside still had the pillow custard texture. However in my opinion it needed more of the apple pecan slaw especially if you weren't trying to drown them in syrup. My friend had the chilequillas which she really enjoyed but did mention a few times that it was a little spicy. We ended the meal with dessert which was rich and luscious but oh so delicious.
