Here is what we ordered - **Starters** Korean Fried Cauliflower: I was the only one that ate this and omg it was really good, it satisfied my cauliflower craving lol 10/10 Truffle Parmesan Frites: these were outstanding 100/10! The freshly grated Parmesan on top was chef's kiss. Tuna and Avocado Roll: this was fresh and paired nicely with the sauce. 10/10 **Entrees** I got the Joey Classic Steak (on accident lol) but I'm not disappointed. The steak was cooked perfectly. The "crispy mashed potatoes" were unexpected lol. They were more like mashed potato eggrolls/flautas, but tasted fine. Id give this plate a solid 8/10. Stopped by here while shopping and I'm glad we did. The vibes are really nice: moody, stylish, and one of those places that's perfect for a date night or a girls' night out. The service was good. Nothing that really stood out in either direction, but everyone was friendly and everything ran smoothly. Now the food... The Korean Cauliflower was hands down the star of the meal. It had so much flavor that even if you're a meat eater, don't overlook it. I'd order that again in a heartbeat. The Tuna & Avocado Crunch Roll was just... okay. It tasted like it had been sitting for a while because the rice was cold and hard. Definitely didn't have that fresh-made texture I was expecting. The biggest miss for me was the Katsu Chicken Salad. If you've had proper katsu before, you know it's supposed to be juicy AF with a crispy coating and packed with flavor. This one was dry and just kind of... there. If someone asked me if I'd order it again? NOPE. The drinks definitely redeemed the meal. We tend to customize our cocktails and the bartender absolutely knew what she was doing. Lovely restaurant! They provide a complimentary drink upon entering which was a fantastic start! The restaurant is beautiful and clean, just right if you're celebrating something special. Our server was amazing and really helpful when deciding what we wanted to order. The hummus and pita was absolutely delicious! Most of our group had the Cajun Blackened Chicken. I was hoping for a tad more flavor but it was cooked nicely and the warm potato salad was really good! I tried one of the guests Lobster Spaghetti and loved it because it was light and the lobster cooked to perfection. I got a butter cake to go but wasn't that impressed with it. I was craving a proper girl dinner...you know, a Caesar salad paired with just about anything. It's Monday, and in Dallas, half the city seems to shut down by 9 p.m. (Do better, Dallas.) I didn't want fast food or bar food, and Joey was only 10 minutes away. Perfect. I walked in already tasting my Caesar salad... To my surprise, Joey doesn't serve a Caesar salad. Like, what?! How is that even possible? So I went with the next best thing: the Truffle Me pasta. The truffle carbonara with chicken was amazing. When I ordered it, the bartender told me it was his favorite dish, which immediately got me excited. It was rich, filling, and definitely enough food. The portion seemed a little small for the price, but it was really good. I could've used a little more truffle flavor, but I still absolutely demolished it. I almost licked the plate. I paired it with Joey's French 75. It was okay, not my favorite. Their twist on a French 75 just didn't do it for me, and I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall, the pasta saved the night. Happen to have lunch here and due to my convo I didn't take a picture so let me give you the 411. Upon entering they gave my guys a champagne flute. Mid shelf champagne of course but very cool idea to be charitable. Totally forgot the servers name but she was great and very nice. The atmosphere was fantastic despite the dreary day outside! Although my reservation took a surprising 15 minutes to be ready, we then waited another 15 minutes to place our order. We finally ordered the spicy crab dip with toast. The buttered toast was burnt, but I enjoyed it anyway--bringing back memories of my youthful attempts to make the perfect toast. Wow wow wow I don't know where to start! This place is true class. If there is a wait line, you get a glass of complementary champagne. My nephew ordered the Tuna Poké bowl, which he inhaled and said was absolutely delicious. I couldn't resist. I had the steak and ravioli. It was out of this world. The raviolis were homemade. They were not the big round ones like you get in the store. They were smaller squares. They were filled with some delicious filling, and I think it was record and mushrooms. I'm not sure and then there was shrimps on top and it was in a wonderful white sauce that tasted buttery and lemonade. It was delicious and then the steak the steak was sliced and cooked to perfection. It was great. We were scouting out this place because my sister and her husband, my nephew's parents, when they come into town, they want something good to eat. My brother-in-law is very picky so I had seen this place at the mall. I did a quick review on Yelp and saw that it had good ratings and I told my Nephew we have to go check it out. I'm glad we did. While shopping on a Friday night, we decided to check out Joey Dallas for a dinner before heading home. We were fortunate to have a relatively short wait (~35 minutes) despite not having a reservation. In the foyer, they were handing out champagne, which set a festive, welcoming vibe immediately upon entering. Although I didn't have any, it was noticed as a nice touch for the age appropriate adults who came in for dinner that evening. I liked the seating in the main dining room. A mix of cozy round tables that accommodate 4-6 people comfortably and some 2-tops where couples could sit together separated by space and not necessarily dividers. The vibe was energetic, but not noisy. A random unique touch was the purse/bag tree that they had next to tables where women wanted to hang their purses, leaving space for people to sit on seats. These stands were also a way to hang shopping bags for the NorthPark mall shoppers without creating tripping hazards. I had been to JOEY in downtown LA and had high expectations and JOEY Dallas didn't disappoint. Friday night, so it was really busy and service matched the level business. Not super fast but understandably so. Ruby was our server. A warm and friendly gal, who was knowledgeable about the menu making suggestions for us and our son. We ordered hibachi wings and our little guy had a plain cheeseburger and some french fries, to start. I also ordered the Sushi cone and had the JOEY classic steak plate for an entree. Skipped the desert. Everything was good, and the variety available ensured that everyone was satisfied. The steak was tender and tasty. The loaded potato sticks were, ok... just served below room temperature. And the broccolini was fresh. My son commented on the warm, buttery bun for his burger, so he was happy. Please note: the hibachi wings are tasty but definitely not spicy. Haha. Recap Food -8/10 Atmosphere-9/10 Value- 7/10 (no kid priced options, only kid sized portions at slightly reduced prices. Bear in mind that the target demographic is adults). Service- 7/10. Ruby was responsive, but the rating reflects the hostess team who initially tried to put my party, including a 6-year old, in the bar area, causing a significant delay. Would recommend - Yes. Well I'm here to tell ya that not only was it the same but it was better!!! My cousin and I met up to celebrate my late mother's birthday. Mercedes was a wonderful server making sure all of our needs were met. There was a small hiccup in communication, however between Mercedes and Jackie, they got us taken care of. We ordered the crab dip - however it sadly was sold out by the time our order got placed - so we got the bang bang chicken, truffle fries, the French dip and the butter cake. Delicious is the only way to describe this. However they went above and BEYOND when they brought out a dessert for my mom . . . It showed me that they listen as I briefly mentioned my mother's name, that they care about the little moments as well as the big ones and they are serving delicious food. We had reservations- they welcomed us and gave us champagne while we awaited our table - which was prepared swiftly despite the heavy crowd. Atmosphere starts with the little beginnings and what a great start. Our table service started with our waitress- Dominica - whom greeted us and brought our menus and we reviewed and made some selections. Dominica was always there when we needed her / invisible but present when we needed something - which is a true talent. We started with the "spicy crab dip" which was true to its name and very pleasant. We had a beautiful red wine whom was opened tableside and served by their semolina - she was great and the wine was exceptional. Our mains were next. The pork chop. 999 places get them wrong - this is the place that nails it. Perfectly cooked and delightfully seasoned - moist and juicy and tasty - omg. Full stop there was in complete love !! Short pours are the restaurant policy! This is what the manager told us when we questioned the small amount of wine in the glasses. She said they only give 5 oz pours. Problem is they charge FULL price for short pours. Most restaurants give 6-9 oz of wine per serving. In fact many wine glasses actually have a mark on the side of the glass to indicate the amount of the serving. $16-$33 for a glass of wine is normal but intentionally serving less by policy is a rip off. read more

The food is absolutely delicious. All the items that we ate were cooked well and you can tell they use good quality ingredients. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star was the service. Our servers were not attentive and we had to constantly ask for help because they weren't checking on us. We ended up spending 2+ hours at the restaurant because of it which was a little too much.
