Great happy hour!!! Solid drink menu with great prices. The happy hour fries are a great steal and I love how they are served with guac and sour cream!! Crunchy, crispy, and fresh!! The Caesar wrap was solid, I wish the lettuce and chicken was more chopped up and tossed! Other than that it was great! Can't wait to come back and try the birria sliders and sit outside! Service was great and the ambiance is great for happy hour or to watch a sports game!

Visited Birdie's Eastside on a Saturday around noon. Super busy on the patio, as it was a nice day outside. Parking lot can get crowded so carpool is the way to go if meeting a group. Birdie's is super spacious inside and outside. We dined on the patio and got sat right away. I tried the Sauv Blanc Slushie - this was so delicious. I usually never like frozen drinks but this is a hit! Out of all the food I tried here, the Birria Sliders were my favorite. Loaded Fries are a close 2nd. Definitely a great patio spot in Dallas to check out!!!!

We had brunch at Birdies this morning for the first time. Our waiter, Anthony, was so kind and helpful! He was very personable and made sure we were always taken care of. He interested us in the soft serve margaritas they are offering right now. Highly recommend trying them while available and at such a great price. Personally i think the steak could use a little more seasoning, but it was still very delicious and filling. Shrimp and grits were great! There was a lot of space for seating inside and out. Plenty of parking too. We will definitely be coming back to try happy hour.

Outdoor eating area is lovely and enticing! The food is very average. We tried 4 apps and a mix of entrees and everything was just simply ok. Worth the trip if you can score a table outside

Great place to sit outside and bring your dogs. Plenty of space and seating for big crowds. Ordered the chicken wrap and it was so good, the parm on top was a nice touch.

Great Bar & Grill on Mockingbird. They have a massive outdoor seating area and a large dining room with a couple of smaller more private areas. The place is really large. There are plenty of TVs around for watching games. The food is very good, and is mostly traditional bar fare. Everything from tacos, to burgers, and sandwiches. They also have wraps in bowls, along with a couple of pasta dishes and the salmon is good. The staff are always super friendly.

This place was my last meal in Texas. This place is really great place to eat and hangout with your friends. The patio is very lovely with a fireplace and tvs all around. However I thought the menu was very limited. Shrimp Mediterranean bowl (3/5): There was just too many olives and it overtook the flavors of the rest of the ingredients Although I thought the food was okay, the servers were amazing

This was my second time visiting Birdie's Eastside and my first time trying their brunch! My family and I were pleasantly surprised that there was no wait for a table for four on a Sunday at 10:30 AM -- which, as many brunch-goers know, is no small feat. However, by the time we left around 11:30, it started to get crowded! I like to describe Birdie's as the more adult-friendly, upscale version of Katy Trail Ice House. It's the perfect spot to catch a game, bring your family or dog, or sit outside and enjoy a great meal in beautiful weather (there's plenty of indoor seating too). We started brunch with the Caesar deviled eggs, and I was honestly shocked by how much they captured the flavor of a Caesar salad -- these were a hit with everyone at the table. For my entrée, I went with the steak and eggs, a brunch classic. The dish itself was solid, but the real standout was the crispy, perfectly salty potatoes that came with it -- they were easily my favorite part of the meal. The only downside to our visit was the service. Despite the restaurant being fairly empty when our food arrived, our waitress didn't check in to see if everything came out correctly. After about 10 minutes, we finally flagged her down to ask for ketchup for the potatoes, which took another 10 minutes to arrive -- and she only brought one small cup for the entire table. We ended up having to flag down another waiter for more. Overall, though, Birdie's Eastside remains a great spot: delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and a setting that makes it easy to enjoy time with family or friends. With a bit more attentive service, it would've been an excellent brunch experience.

First time here, walking in I was surprised how big the patio was. A lot of seating outside especially if inside was full. Luckily for a Saturday it wasn't packed. Started off with water, then grabbed a mimosa. It was filled exactly to the rim! I haven't had deviled eggs in a while so I decided to try their Caesar Deviled Eggs. They give 5 per order which other places usually give you 4. The caesar taste was okay but just fell a bit flat. I've had better. As an entree I wanted to try something different and picked Chicken & Waffle tacos. It comes with popcorn chicken, sausage gravy which I got on the side, and syrup. The shell is actually the waffle. The sausage gravy was really good. Not sure about these two actually going together though. Overall, there is some other menu options I definitely wanted to try. Personally I wanted to switch it up a bit and try something different. I think it's just want I ordered. I would come back try some other options.

A really great family friendly spot! Ample parking with a big menu. The fries are delish!

Owned by TJ Seafood guys, so all the seafood plates are great. These guys know how to create intimate and public spaces for couples and families. Love the loaded tacos, build your own bowls & drinks ! Bar tenders JP, Matt, & Stefano are fast & friendly. Great service.

This place was fun; my neighbor and I went here. It was our first time, and they have a nice open patio area. They also have a cocktail area for 21 and up. When we went, it was kid-friendly; there were lots of kids and families because they were having a Mavericks night, so families could enjoy it. It's great that they also have a separate cocktail lounge for adults only, which is pretty cool. Besides that, they have a great full bar both outside and inside, which is fun. We sat at the bar, enjoyed ourselves, and had a good time. There are plenty of TVs for games and sports. We didn't try the food, as we were just there for drinks, but the service was pretty good. The bartenders were attentive, and I definitely need to go back to try the food. I think it's a great spot for family fun if you have kids, but it's also good for adults because of the separate cocktail lounge. On a nice day, that patio is fantastic, so I can't wait to go back and try them out again.

    Chicken sandwich

When here for lunch and drinks with some friends, the food was a lot better than I was expecting the burger and fries. I really enjoyed and my wife loved her salmon and grains bowl. The frozen margarita is tasty and strong. Would recommend that over the cucumber margarita overall it's a pretty cool place to get drinks and food. It's crazy that this place used to be a Luby's but our server was kind of rude but I think he was just having a bad day.

    Private patio!!!

Choosing this place for a Texas summer wedding is practically sabotage, and I'll tell you why. Picture this: the bride, groom, officiant, and wedding party forced to stand directly facing the blazing sun at 5pm (all to get the lake in the background). Guests are sitting in direct sunlight, melting, turning the ceremony into an unbearable endurance test. Everyone spends hours getting ready, wearing designer, only to have your blazer turn into a portable sauna, your undershirt is now marinated in your own sweat, and your deodorant taps out like "I wasn't built for this." If you think alcohol will make this better, think again! You can't of catch a buzz because it's so hot that any alcohol consumed immediately escapes through your pores. If you thought you'll just go inside for relief, you'd be wrong again! Expect the interior temperature of the building only marginally cooler than outside, maybe a toasty 90 degrees. Once the doors mercifully open to the building, there's a mad dash to the smallest bathroom in Texas--three tiny stalls and one pathetic sink to service a crowd of sweaty survivors. Mirror? Vanity space? Not here. Prepare to freshen up makeup elbow-to-elbow with strangers, in line, like you're waiting for a ride at Disneyland (minus any of the joy). After exiting the bathroom you'll see the long, hallway-like layout. This narrow layout ensures that anyone seated towards the back misses everything happening on the stage. Guests were left shouting conversations over deafening acoustics and cheap concrete flooring. The cramped table arrangement created constant traffic jams and awkward, uncomfortable pathways just to move around. Outside was equally dreadful. The ceremony area was poorly designed, with an embarrassingly short aisle that robbed the bride of a proper procession. Photography conditions were awful, marred by either glaring sunlight or the shadow of the building (no sunset views). The spider-webbed oak trees added to the unkempt appearance, signaling neglect and lack of care. Parking was another disaster, forcing guests to navigate through a rough, unpaved secondary lot, making an already unpleasant experience even worse. Finally, if you were hoping for some redeeming aesthetic charm, sorry. You'll find none in this ugly orange-brick box inconveniently located far from any decent bars or entertainment. Brides, unless your dress code includes swimsuits and flip-flops, pick literally anywhere else for your summer or early fall wedding. The Filter Building has successfully filtered out comfort, logic, and fun.
