Saaya was such a vibe! It made me feel like I was on vacation as soon as I stepped in to their outdoor seatings in the front. My girl and I came on a Sunday night around 8pm. There were a good amount of ppl there but they also had a quite a few tables avaible. The service was a little slow, we didn't get greeted for a long time that I had to ask the host for our server, hence the 4 stars. We ordered sliced chicken Makakeesh (Lebanese pizza) and kofta kebab. They were both very delicious, but the pizza was kind of small, it's a size of a personal pizza (about 6 inches). The Kofta kebab was a good portion though. For cocktails, we ordered a fire dancer and zingaro. Both too sweet to our liking. Overall, Saaya has a great social atmosphere with good food! read more

First off if you're coming on a Saturday make a reservation. Because we didn't have one we ended up sitting at the bar, which was fine as there were seats available. Service at the bar was pretty good. It wasn't too busy and we were able to get our food and drinks pretty quickly. Spicy feta 7/10: nice level of spice and good flavor. The portion size was good, I would've preferred it with soft pita bread slices versus the crackers. And also more feta. I was missing the feta aside from the small amount of crumbles on top. Felt more like a sauce than what I was expecting. Chicken shawarma 8/10: enjoyed the flavor of this and it was a good portion size. I would've liked more of the pickled veggies but other than that, this was a good dish. The flavor from the chicken really came through - it was well seasoned. Drink (can't remember the name) 5/10: I didn't really care for this drink. The presentation was decent but I wasn't sure what flavors I was expecting or experiencing. Absolutely loved Saaya from the warm greeting by the security at the Gate to the Greeter inside and then the service. These employees really demonstrated true hospitality. I wasn't very hungry so I went directly for my main course. Had the lamb with yellow rice and a side order of sumac fries. Lamb was well seasoned and succulent, the rice was perfectly fluffy and paired well with the lamb, and the sauces - oh the sauces - delicious. The sumac fries were amazingly seasoned and crisp to perfection. I still think about them. The service was top notch. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Dallas. read more

I'm truly shocked it's taken me this long to write a review for Saaya. I absolutely love this place. I've been here for cocktails, dinner, and karaoke, and each time has been amazing. This is the place you bring out of town guests that don't mind hookah in the air. One stop shop for food and fun. Saaya is absolutely beautiful - Indoor and outdoor, the decor is everything. I first came here for a bar crawl I curated for a small group of girls. I made Saaya the last spot on the crawl. I rented the igloo with the karaoke, and we had a time. We had technical difficulties with one of the mics at first, but they were so sweet, they gave us an extra hour. Great customer service. The food, the hookah, it was all good. Now the cocktails, AMAZING. Don't sleep on the mocktails. These are real cocktails with amazing ingredients, I get the mocktails and add alcohol My favorite cocktails - Midnight in Mykonos, Ambassador, and Sunset in Marrakech. Mocktail - Greek Gardens, and add a shot! The hookah is so smooth, and lasts for some time. I always get gum mint. Food wise, I always get the platters and share with the table! Visited Saaya in Dallas for my wife's birthday and had a great experience. We booked our table online, which I highly recommend because the place was crowded even on a Thursday night. We arrived around 11 PM, and there's a paid parking lot right next to the restaurant. The vibe was lively, loud music, crowded, and full of energy. Food was fantastic! Food: Mediterranean. It's good, just not a place I'd go if I was super hungry. This is more of a birthday party, celebration type spot. Drinks are pricey, about $15-$18 per drink for cocktails or wine. Hookah is fairly priced but you're mostly paying for the vibes Ambiance: Tropical, Miami, Middle Eastern influenced decor, dim lit spaces Service: I always get a super nice server but I've been at previous times where it's hard to get anyone's attention as they're so busy on weekends. They were able to accommodate our table of 15 although, the stools were a bit shaky. I don't think large parties/tables should be in the center of the room as everyone kept brushing past us to get to the bar. Again, I'd only go for a nice night out, not a regular spot for me due to their prices. Saaya has a beautiful vibe to it. Once you walk into the space, you immediately get a feel of the experience they want to deliver. The hosts and staff were all pleasant with welcoming smiles. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting for your pleasure, with accommodating heating for the cooler nights. Their menu offering is nice. I ordered the Sumac Fries and the Shrimp Kabab; The sumac fries were one of the best seasoned fries I've ever tasted. And I'm not a ketchup girl at all, but their spicy ketchup was one of a kind. I love the ambience at Saaya but parking is only valet in the area so most of our group took a ride share. Note that weekends do get pretty busy and reservations are recommended. Seating is only for 2 hrs and they keep to this when they're busy. We did the ultimate feast, which provided us with plenty of food variety, which were all delicious. Their happy hour deals are pretty amazing as well. Later in the night they'll also have belly dancers. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice both inside and outside. Mediterranean food is good, they offer hookah inside and outside, bars, live DJ on the weekends, belly dancers, and domes you can step inside for an intimate gathering for karaoke. I ordered a platter which included a nice mix of tastes from the menu. You can also order hookahs for your table There is also belly dancing but after 8 pm. If you are in the Dallas area, a true gem to experience! Note: Reservations are 2 hour max...but food comes out fast! My only negative experience was interaction with the parking attendants when leaving. When I arrived there was no one to park me, so I paid to park via parking lot machine. Upon return to my vehicle, an attendant appeared yelling at me to pay him 20 bucks. After taking a pic of my license plate even after explaining that I paid...I felt truly harassed! RACIST!! i went a couple weeks ago, my friends and i all have on the same type of clothing! (one has a beanie on) so one of my friends went & got the reservation table while we parked. Zero stars!! This was by far the most unorganized and chaotic restaurant I've ever been to. We were seated immediately when we arrived for our reservation and did not receive any water or acknowledgment for about 30 minutes, even with other servers, taking care of tables around us. We constantly flagged down servers to take our order which they eventually did and continued to flag down 4 individuals employees for the hookah menu. It took about an hour for food to come out and that was after we flagged down a random server to just close out our tab for our drinks. When the food did come out, it was cold we sent it back. They warmed up the same food and brought it right back out. The main issue is there were servers taking care of other tables around us and had no self-awareness that we were not satisfied or needed attention even with us yelling for them. We requested the manager and he never came a server from another area came over to take care of us although it was too late. We did appreciate her, but by then there was nothing she could do. Visited this spot midweek after 9pm and was pleasantly surprised. Dim lighting which made for the perfect ambiance.... Think date night or girls night out for a nice chat with comfortable chairs and lovely drinks. They've got hookah as well, if that's your thing. Small task lights sit at eat table to appropriately provide lighting to see both the menu and your food at each table. Music was the perfect volume to carry on a conversation without feeling like the entire restaurant could hear you. They are open till midnight during the week, so if you're a member of the night owl club, this spot will not disappoint. The food was hot, well flavored and beautifully plated. The wait staff was polite, attentive and offered great recommendations. I'm sure the vibe on the weekend is quite different as the seating both indoors and out could certainly accommodate a lively club crowd who may enjoy a "seen and be seen" moment.
