Last night in Dallas and we were in search of a good happy hour. The moment we stepped into The Henry, we were in love. We went upstairs first, which was a completely different vibe, with a Hawaiian tiki bar theme. We got a few drinks and apps, which were delish. Most of the drinks were around $9 and the selected apps were $4-5 off. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts! They offer "bites" versions of the entrees as well. We decided we wanted entrees from the full menu, so transitioned downstairs where the ambiance was perfect and classy. Joseph provided us with great service, and gave us a good rundown of the menu. We ordered the Korean skirt steak, braised short ribs, and sea bass. Everything was AMAZING, definitely 10/10! And you know we couldn't leave without dessert. We decided to try the lemon olive oil cake, molten butter cake, and bread pudding. Everything was literally chef's kiss, so much so that I had to request for Chef Khan to come out and let him know myself. Anytime I'm back in Dallas, The Henry is a must!

My coworkers who used to work/still do here always say great things about the food and I've always wanted to try! After a rough week, I finally got the opportunity to try. My go-to drink is an espresso martini. My friend told me that it's very sweet and not adjustable because it's batched before. I still wanted to try it though. The Hank's Espresso Martini was good, but indeed very sweet. I also got to try the Seasonal Sangria. It was good and refreshing, but nothing too crazy. Food wise, I ordered the Short Rib Potstickers and the Roasted Chicken and Avocado salad. The Short Rib Potstickers were solid and flavorful. The Roasted Chicken and Avocado salad is basically a cobb salad. It was good as well. Service was efficient and straight to the point, he did what he had to do which was good! Ambiance is casual, but also nice! Definitely suites downtown Dallas vibes and scenery. The interior is nice and my coworker told me upstairs is where a cocktail bar is for happy hour too! We sat downstairs, but it was nice with all the natural lighting. Definitely would come back! Also validated parking was so easy which is not common in downtown which is good as well :-)

If you are going during the weekend, I recommend that you make reservations, however be prepared that what you request may not be able to honored. Second, park in the garage and make sure you bring your ticket with you as the restaurant validates parking. So now that we got that out the way, came Sunday for brunch. Staff was super friendly as was ready to seat me however as I was walking to the table I explained that this is not what we had requested. She told me it would be a few minutes, which was no problem. After a while we were told that the table isn't available downstairs however their upstairs area was open and they could get us seated there. We proceeded upstairs and to my surprise there's no way it just opened as there were people seated everywhere. (Note, there is patio seating downstairs and upstairs, upstairs doesn't have you sitting where people are passing by or driving by watching you). Our server came to greet us, asked us if we wanted to start with some water (bottled or tap) and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. I asked about the pineapple guava mimosa and it came as drink that most people enjoyed. I must say that it didn't taste like anything besides pineapple, but I enjoyed the drink. I asked about the burrito, asked if I could get the potatoes that come inside the burrito on the side and was informed that it came with potatoes so I just omitted the potatoes inside, asked that my potatoes be cooked crispy and i asked if salsa came on the side or was in the burrito. I was reassured it was on the side. Food comes and as I'm eating it, I indeed see salsa on the side but I'm tasting something spicy. As I get near the end of the first half I see salsa all in the burrito. When I called this to the servers attention, she apologized and said she didn't know it was inside and she eats the burrito all the time. The potatoes also were cooked as hard as I would have liked. My friend who ordered the eggs Benedict said she really enjoyed her meal. Overall it was good, I just wish that I could have enjoyed all of my food.

Came back here for a part 2! This time the seats were much nicer and not as cramped (I was on the balcony with the nicest views at night) Just like before, I got the short rib pot stickers which are fantastic as usual. Really liking the ponzu and cilantro with the potstickers - a combination I wasn't expected but worked out so nicely. Rigatoni alla vodka was nice - I'd get it again. Burrata cheese was a fantastic addition and made the dish well-rounded. The breaded crumbs made it gently crispy - I really enjoyed how it all tied together. Dessert was the best - loved the lemon olive oil cake and coulis, mascarpone, gelato that tied everything together so well. I was easily blown away by this part - did not expect the strawberry, lemon, gelato and mascarpone to create its own unique flavor profile that slaps! Molten butter cake had more bread than expected and was a bit of a letdown. Not enough caramel inside. I still enjoyed how fluffy and delicious it was! Points for fluffiness.

Consistency with the quality of food and service Love this location specially early summer Few different plates vs the one at the cosmo (my regular) definitely recommend if not sure where to go and close to downtown Really good environment must try for new options

The rooftop was such a vibe. It was cold when I went and they have heaters on. The food was great, and we got free birthday dessert.

Very aesthetically pleasing restaurant with a variety of items on the menu. Cute spot for a brunch with friends or a date. Prices are on the higher end. Came for brunch on a Sunday, were able to get a table right away. The service was great, though the food was slow to come out (no fault of the server). Tried the quiche & spicy tuna and crispy rice. Both solid options, the spicy tuna & crispy rice was the star of the show.

My friends and I went to The Henry for a post Christmas brunch. Such a great place to go for a big group to get together. Servers are wonderful and have fun recommendations for food and drinks. Parking is available in the near by garage and also offers parking validation for free parking with dining.

Foodie Alert! I've been to The Henry a few times (celebrated my birthday, dinner, HH, etc.). Overall, my experience has been good. This time was a little different. Upon entering the restaurant, the hostesses seemed to be all over the place, trying to figure out who, what, when, where, and why. They were busy complimenting each other on how they looked rather than being attentive to guests who were arriving and needed to be seated. I had a reservation on this particular day, and it was VERY, very cold. The host took me all the way back to the "outdoor heated" patio, where there was no one out there except for one other couple. Mind you, we passed several tables that were available, or at least seemed to be, so I was confused as to why I was seated on a patio on a VERY cold day. At least ask me if I want to sit on the patio. I want to be inside where it's warm! I asked the server why she seated me on the patio, and she explained (in a very dry, dismissive tone) that when making a reservation, you can sit anywhere in the restaurant, including the patio. Normally, on a warmer day, I wouldn't mind, but since it's freezing outside, I don't understand why I was seated outside. She then proceeded to take me back inside after I told her I would prefer to be seated indoors where it's warm. Aside from that, I enjoyed the experience with the waitress, who was excellent. The food was also great--I had potstickers, Brussels sprouts, and rigatoni à la vodka, with no complaints. I ordered a Sangria as my drink; it was okay, though I might have chosen something else. What I dine here again absolutely, just note to self about the outdoor patio.

Super cute, fun place for a weekend brunch. Popped in for a solo brunch meal at the bar. It was so worth it. Felt the vibe as soon as I popped in. I sat at the bar and ordered the pomegranate spritz. Delicious! I opted for the quiche which came with a salad. It was so yummy! I got a matcha with oat milk. It wasn't great but everything else hit the spot. Parking sucks over there so be prepared to valet for $10. I would come back again! Recommend!

I planned a Christmas dinner at The Henry. It was great working with Brittany from the events management team. Appreciated how responsive and communicative she was, and she also kept me accountable and sent me reminders. Since there were going to be around 16 people, I had to do a prix fixe menu. I was grateful with how flexible the menu was so that I could accommodate folks with specific dietary preferences, such as no pork and vegetarian options. I've never been to The Henry, but I thought it was a fun spot and I was highly entertained. We ordered margarita trees for our tables, which were brought out with sparklers and a whole cheering squad like Las Vegas bottle service. Our server, Lucas, was awesome. He was friendly and helpful, and he took good care of us. He was also transparent about there being another party occupying our table a couple of hours after our reservation. He did a good job managing our time that didn't feel pushy or rushed at all, which also meant our food came out in a timely manner. The prix fixe menu that I curated included a chopped salad as our appetizer; 3 entree choices of salmon, short ribs, or penne alla vodka; and a lemon olive oil cake. The salad was fine, but the entrees and dessert were excellent. I was relieved that the entire party thought so too. I ordered the penne alla vodka as my main dish, which was really good, and I had the pleasure of trying the salmon and short rib. The salmon was beautifully cooked, and I really enjoyed the accompanying crispy quinoa, sweet potatoes, and pomegranate glaze. The super tender braised short rib with creamy mashed potatoes was the ultimate comfort food. You couldn't go wrong picking any of the 3 entrees. Lastly, the lemon olive oil cake was divine. Loved everything about it, and it's great that the olive oil flavor was prominent.

I have heard mixed reviews about the Henry so I decided to check it out for myself. I'm really happy that I did. These were the best brussels sprouts I have ever had. The Caesar salad salad was perfect as well as the club sandwich. The service was absolutely amazing. I love the ambience inside it. It's super cozy. I definitely recommend to check it out for yourself. I had a great experience! Will definitely return soon!

The Henry was the perfect place to wrap up the holiday season. Everything was decorated beautifully, and it truly felt like Christmas wasn't over yet. The atmosphere was festive, warm, and inviting. Our server, Elizabeth, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful when it came to navigating the holiday menu. She really made the experience even better. This is a great spot to meet up with friends, especially to enjoy their margarita tree and share some delicious appetizers. The Henry has definitely become a holiday favorite for me, and I already know I'll be back again next year!

What are the best dishes for dinner?

For an appetizer, the short rib potstickers are delectable. For mains, the burger and rotisserie chicken are great! If you’ve got a vegetarian in the group, the harvest bowl is fantastic.

Is this place a good spot for a group happy hour?

Yes! Good food, drinks, ambience and service!

    What is the dress code?

Honestly, there really isn't a dress code

    How is the parking?

They have valet service and there are also options for self park

How cold is roof top for Xmas experience?

It's very warm. They have a lot of heaters and fires going.

    What's the noise level like?

I went on a Friday night to the upstairs area and it was pretty loud since they have a DJ. It's hard to have a conversation.

    Is this place family friendly?

-ish maybe. Older kids who can behave or little ones who will quietly eat fries. But it would be totally lost on my crew.

Do you need a reservation if you're just going for drinks?

You can seat yourself upstairs at the bar for just drinks and smaller menu. The seating downstairs is for reservations and fuller menu.

    Do staff wear masks?

    Yes all staff did!

Do they have set menu for birthday party?

Not that I know of...probably not.

Any private ish space for a large party?

    What is the lunch attire?

The store at The Henry is always casual, yet presentable

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

We tried the lamb chops -- great flavor, nicely seasoned, though slightly on the tougher side. The truffle fries? Loved. The burger? Delicious. The oysters? Fresh and absolutely worth ordering. The cornbread was served with a bone marrow butter that added a rich twist, and the cornbread had a subtle jalapeño kick (at least to me!), which I really enjoyed. For drinks we tried the pear cobbler, Island Boy and the Pixie Cup. We enjoyed the pear cobbler the most. The ambiance is warm and inviting -- the kind of place you could come for happy hour and accidentally stay all evening. And I believe parking is validated.
