This cafe is one of the most beautiful with natural lighting from the floor to ceiling windows. The food was phenomenal! Service is always friendly! They're excellent. Parking is not the best so just prepare yourself for that. Lastly, they do not split checks - I was in a party of 5 people and had to ask the manager to split. They were kind enough to do it this time but I'm pretty sure next time someone is going to get hit with a big bill and your party will have to sort it out themselves. I do recommend a visit! Very nice place! read more

Finally got to come back for a dine-in experience. The in house chai tastes more earthy with the spices. But look at how cute that smiling face is! The waffles are easily top notch, and the texture of the strawberries complimented the waffles with the mascarpone cream. What a killer combo here Staff was super nice, I look forward to coming back read more

Came here for brunch with a friend. Heard of them on TikTok as being part of the matchbook series. Upon arrival we were seated right away and everyone was super friendly. I had The Big Brekkie for my meal and it was amazing!!! I loved every item on that plate, the hash browns were my absolute favorite, and their avocados were so fresh. Loved the chill ambiance as well, makes you feel relaxed. I am taking a star because I originally wanted the Steak and Egg, but the waitress said it can only be done medium rare and there was no way to get it more cooked. She stated once she puts it in they will just make it that way, like as if the kitchen was an unknown place she couldn't tell the cook about my preference. Overall it was a good breakfast just wish they were more accommodating. read more

My friends and I had a nice brunch at Two Hands on Friday. We walked in around 11:30am and only had to wait a few minutes for a table even though they were busy. I would recommend making a reservation if you can. It's so cute inside. I love how open and airy it feels. I got a Toasted Macadamia Latte and the Farm and Garden Hash with ribbon eggs. The food and coffee were both good and the ingredients were super fresh, but it wasn't as memorable as I was hoping. The Banana Walnut Bread, however, was delicious, and the espresso mascarpone was to die for. I would definitely get that again. I also tried a bit of the Lemon Poppyseed Waffle and thought it was good but I wouldn't get it again. Our server was great but she was very busy and it was hard to get her attention to order. It was on the pricey side, but you can tell they are intentional about their ingredients and menus. read more

Such a cute and fun spot! Went for a mid week late lunch and it was perfect. Banana walnut bread is naturally gluten free and the espresso mascarpone on top was fantastic. We split the slice as an appetizer. Harissa chicken lentil bowl was good. Probably wouldn't order again but was great to have once. Free street parking. read more

I love this restaurant! The moment you walk in, the vibe is so tranquil and relaxing--very clean, polished, and stylish. It's the kind of place i'd happily bring friends to and feel proud introducing them to. The staff were also wonderful. Our waitress, Liz, was especially helpful--she recommended my coffee, which was delicious, and checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was beautifully presented, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared. This is officially my new go-to brunch spot, and I can't wait to come back. Their banana walnut bread always hits the spot! I love that there is the option for both indoor and outdoor seating, and how well lit the inside is. Loved everything about this spot! I was lucky to not make a reservation and still get a table right away. The service is very nice and attentive, always checking on us. But let me tell you about the food! It is definitely worth going back. I ordered the big brekky and everything was delicious. I replaced the bread with gluten free and it was perfectly crispy. Also, get the coffee. You can tell the quality of the beans is good. The place is beautiful as well. Simple and modern, with a huge window which brings in a ton of light. read more

Best meal I had on the trip. Wie stopped by here to grab a quick bite to eat. It was an easy walk in the uptown Dallas area. The place was cute and had plenty of tables. we started up with a Burrata and beets salad. I'm not a big beets fan, but it was really good. For entrees, we ordered the weekly special, chicken, karaage sandwich, and the catch of the day dish. It was salmon over a bed of lettuce with beets. It was fantastic. One of the best salmon dishes I had in my years of travel.. Service is really good. They were very attentive. read more

It was a risk coming here for breakfast. Even at 9:30am on a Saturday morning, the wait for a table was an hour. Rather than wait, many ate at the counter. The customer ahead of me snagged the nearest two open seats. I grabbed an open spot at the far end, by the kitchen. Unlike rest of the counter, mine had the least surface area, partly due to a fruit serving bowl. Thirty minutes later, half the counter had cleared. As soon as I sat down, the bartender asked if I first checked with the hostess. After a short wait, she took my order. In addition to a flat white, I had ordered a Smoked Salmon Toast. Several minutes later, the manager informed me that they had ran out of smoked salmon. I hastily ordered the newest item, the Seasonal Scramble. After I received my flat white, I requested sweetener. The restaurant only offers raw sugar and stevia. After the bartender handed a few stevia packets, I asked for utensils. Unlike the other seats at the counter, mine had a menu but no utensils. The bartender handed me a fork and knife. Even though she just provided sweetener, she failed to provide a spoon. The manager did not notify everyone about the salmon. The bartender noticed the Seasonal Scramble was not what I ordered from her. The dish was a chore to eat. With the provided knife, the thin sourdough toast was tough to cut. The thinner the toast, the harder to cut. While not a fan of eggplant, the eggplant and tomato kasundi enhanced the flavor of the eggs. Some of the add-ons are questionable. The Smoked Salmon Toast includes smoked salmon and a poached egg. Adding the same to the Smashed Avo Toast would make it a significantly more expensive dish. The couple seated next to me ordered a coffee cake with their breakfast. They must have been regulars. The Seasonal Scramble left me still hungry; the halloumi add-on may have satiated me. When the dish was initially created, the grilled halloumi must have been included. read more

Came tonight and very underwhelmed. 1. Drinks were overpriced and so sweet. The espresso martini and the strawberry shortcake were really sweet. Not a wide variety of options. We started with the burrata and our server told us it was it was meat and cheese. When he served it to us he said he was wrong about the meat. Burrata was so blah. Flavorless and only one piece of roti. Wasn't good. Next up- we got burger and steak frites. Steak frites was ordered medium rare and came rare. It was very very chewy and very red. Would have been way better fully cooked. Burger was good, good portion size. We each still had 1/2 of our entrees left and our server came over with the check and the place was open for another hour and pretty empty. This was rude and made us feel very rushed. Overall, it's not so new that some of this should be happening. Service needs work on knowing the menu and table etiquette. read more

This place has such a cute café vibe, but with elevated, thoughtfully prepared food that really stands out. The service was excellent and our drinks and food came out quickly, and everything felt smooth and well-timed. I tried the Banana Bread Espresso Martini, and it was honestly so good, perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness. For appetizers, we ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Pork Belly & Cheddar Croquettes, and Lamb and Pork Meatballs. The Brussels sprouts and the meatballs were definitely my favorites, both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. For the main course, we had the Pesto Cavatelli, Two Hander Burger, and Piri Piri Chicken. The chicken portion was generous, so I'd recommend sharing. The Piri Piri Chicken and the burger were my top picks and both were incredibly satisfying and full of flavor. Overall, a great spot with a cozy atmosphere, great service, and standout dishes. I'd definitely go back! read more

Wow, we finally found a really great breakfast option in DFW! We've gone twice in the past week. Both times the service was fantastic and the food & coffee was amazing! From presentation to taste, the food surpassed our expectations. We love the vibe also. It's just quiet enough and decorated beautifully. My husband and I shared an açaí bowl and the big brekky. One of our sons also tried the lemon poppy seed waffle. All were delicious, made well, and fresh! I especially loved the hash browns and chili crisp fries. Stopped by Two Hands in Dallas for brunch and I've already been twice within weeks of discovering it. The first visit I had a latte and the avocado toast. Second time I went with a different friend and we shared a few things: the Lemon Poppyseed Waffle (vanilla mascarpone cream, strawberries, bergamot maple syrup), the Smashed Avocado Toast, and the Crispy Chilli Fries with sesame chilli crunch and chives. Honestly, everything was delicious, but the waffle was the standout -- so good and also very pretty. Highly recommend ordering that. I also tried the Strawberry Rose Matcha both visits, iced the first time and hot the second, and it was yum both ways. read more

The ambience and the cleanliness of this restaurant was very high quality. I liked the warm colors and the smells of the coffee bar. The drinks were amazing and full of flavor. I ordered the chai latte and it was not watered down like other places are. I ordered an egg and salmon dish. The egg was great, and I loved sweet and fresh jam for my bread. However the salmon was quite dry and somewhat over cooked and not flavorful. Maybe I should have tried something else. But it was still a great experience overall. read more

I recently visited Two Hands with a group of four on a Saturday morning, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The ambience is super cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating options that give off a welcoming, relaxed vibe. I'd recommend either making a reservation or arriving right when they open, since it definitely gets crowded. For food, we ordered the steak and eggs, smoked salmon toast, harissa chicken salad, and an açaí bowl. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted fresh and flavorful--no disappointments at the table. The staff was very friendly and attentive, though it did take a little while for our food to come out. All in all, Two Hands is a great spot for a casual brunch with friends. Extremely beautiful place to eat some colorful, flavourful yet healthy options. I really enjoyed the menu items available and would come back. The ambiance is inviting and bright, I think eating inside is the way to go. Got a salmon quinoa bowl, avocado toast, chicken Harris's bowl. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the jammy egg and the veggies that came with it added a refreshing crunch and burst of flavor. I ordered a seared steak with it and highly recommend the steak. My friends who got an avocado toast and harrisa bowl told me it a was really good. I did try the chicken and it was delicious-- I may have to get that next time! They also got a flat white and a smoothie but I did not try it so I can't comment. Service was alright but they seemed to rush us out, that was my only gripe. I'm quite sure that I've fallen in love with the Two Hander burger. The flavor of the patties, the kewpie sauce and the crispy shoestring fries caused me to double back and have it for lunch twice in one week! They said the best time to come to brunch without a reservation is between 8 and 9 AM or later in the afternoon after 2 PM. Modern restaurant with plenty of sunlight and wood textures throughout the restaurant. I can see it being a trendy spot with the cute decor. I ordered an Iced Americano and asked for some stevia as they didn't have sugar free syrup, and the waitress forgot until I asked again. My friend also ordered a side of eggs and bacon and when the food came out, we had to ask the server where it was as well. The food itself was pretty and delicious! The waffles were fluffy, with a nice touch of cream and syrup. I ordered my burger with jalapenos and it was a great burger as well. It was juicy but had a nice crisp too with melted cheese in between. I think it's a solid brunch place to visit despite the service since they were minor inconveniences. read more

Honestly one of the best brunch spots by far in dallas in my opinion. I met with my friend and we ordered the brunch chicken bowls, which had a good amount of veggies and meat; just a colorful bowl of healthiness, tastefulness, and nutrients. Service was amazing given how busy they were. We also got lattes-their drinks are pretty amazing. And of course we had to try their desserts; this banana nut bread and key lime puff pastry. I made a reservation to come try out this new spot with some friends - I highly recommend making one since this spot is pretty popular, and also note that on the reservation confirmation email it says "Your table will be reserved for 90 minutes for parties up to 4 and 2 hours for larger parties". We felt a little rushed towards the end of our visit, so I would definitely keep this in mind since they seem to be trying to stick to that timetable (which is totally understandable since they're a popular, new spot that is attracting lots of people - just to be aware)! Depending on when you're coming, they have street parking or can validate for one of the local garages. The vibes are more casual, noise level was average (still able to have nice conversation without shouting), and service during the meal was a little hands-off. I ordered a flat white, harissa chicken bowl, and hash brown side - this was a great brunch meal and I would definitely come back again for the harissa chicken bowl (great flavor on the chicken, amazing sauce, and veggies prepped perfectly)! Next time I'd also love to try some of the cocktails and share the lemon poppyseed waffle since someone at the table next to us got one and it looked very yummy! Overall - I think this spot is worth checking out, just make sure to grab a reservation beforehand and be mindful of the time expectations while they're still navigating their opening boom! read more

I was counting down the days until I could check out Two Hands - I was thrilled they brought it into Dallas! My general sentiment is it was a disappointment for the hype and price, but still had some gems. The ambiance is gorgeous, really a perfect example of cultivating a space that feels modern, abstract, but still polished. I love the intentional use of colors and shapes. We did the tasting menu, so we each got our own 3 course meal. This isn't a super value by any means - depending on your choices, you could end up saving just a few bucks. I think it's more so there to help guide you through recommended dishes (though in my opinion, not all should be recommended). To start, we got the burrata and the brussels. The brussels sprouts were awesome - really one of the stars of this meal. They were cooked so well, crispy, easy to eat. The portion size was pretty generous. The burrata on the other hand was a let-down, and this is coming from a burrata lover. The complex dish includes peas for days and pickled zucchini, which doesn't sound terrible at first glance. But, those who order this will find out that the acidic flavor from the zucchini coats the cheese, making it sour and unpleasant. The pea fritters were like falafel, but with the sour flavors of a cheese that should be creamy and borderline sweet makes for a thumbs down dish. For our entrees, we got the pesto pasta and the peri peri chicken. The pesto was decent, I liked the breadcrumbs on top. It was very lemon-y if that's your thing. I thought the pasta was cooked well - al dente but not too tough. The chicken came out in a half bird style with a lot of bone. This makes for a difficult meal to eat while engaging in conversation. The chicken came with this actually horrific grain salad that was completely bland and inedible. When our server cleared our plates, she said "Isn't that the worst?"...okay...so why is it on the menu and why did she let us order it? Then there was dessert, another polarizing course. I ordered the pavlova and it was a DREAM! The perfect balance between fresh, light, sweet, and creamy. I loved it. My bf didn't know what to order and our server said they were known for the banana coffee bread, so he ordered it. It was so bad - incredibly dense but also hard, like it was just brought out of the freezer. You had to push the fork hard to even get a bite, and the bread was so dry. The coffee cream on top was overpowering. Just a seriously bad dessert and I am shocked it was recommended to us. The service was meh. They printed out our bill and put it on the table with the total being $0.00. We asked about it and they fixed it, but the restaurant was not busy (this was a Wed) and it just shows how careless they were. Overall, I won't be running to come back. I don't think a good restaurant is one that has 50% amazing dishes and 50% notably bad ones. PS. They are on the inKind network, so I would use that to save some money!! read more

The decor and color is very nice. I have only been here during brunch and need to try their dinner at some point. Service was disappointing. It was slow inside and unsure why service was not attentive. We ordered sparkling water x3 times and finally got it. I also ordered a vanilla latte hot but it came in a glass. I was confused how do you pick this up without burning your hands?! The carrot cake was very disappointing and nothing special for 7-8$. Not to mention the size is TINY! It's almost a mini muffin, barely. Breakfast food was ok. The brekky muffuletta was ok and I would never ordered again. It is a little modified with bacon instead ham. The sauce was just so funky! It was like sour and tangy. Didn't think that paired well. My significant other said the breakfast burrito alright. Overall, it is pretty pricey here and the service would be better but maybe bc they just opened and are figuring things out. read more
