Lamb and Pork Meatballs
Abhinav K.

This place has such a cute café vibe, but with elevated, thoughtfully prepared food that really stands out. The service was excellent and our drinks and food came out quickly, and everything felt smooth and well-timed. I tried the Banana Bread Espresso Martini, and it was honestly so good, perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness. For appetizers, we ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Pork Belly & Cheddar Croquettes, and Lamb and Pork Meatballs. The Brussels sprouts and the meatballs were definitely my favorites, both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. For the main course, we had the Pesto Cavatelli, Two Hander Burger, and Piri Piri Chicken. The chicken portion was generous, so I'd recommend sharing. The Piri Piri Chicken and the burger were my top picks and both were incredibly satisfying and full of flavor. Overall, a great spot with a cozy atmosphere, great service, and standout dishes. I'd definitely go back!

Chai

I got their chai to go which uses kimbala shots - I make chai at home so this was a particularly interesting chai I really enjoyed. There is depth to the earthy flavors while being just the right amount of sweetness Wish I could say more for the vibes (I didn't sit down) - they were lovely and felt like a brunch stop a nice hill except you're inside. Ambiance was great. The staff was friendly as well - turns out the bartender was making the coffee drinks but we had a jovial chat!

Seasonal Scramble

It was a risk coming here for breakfast. Even at 9:30am on a Saturday morning, the wait for a table was an hour. Rather than wait, many ate at the counter. The customer ahead of me snagged the nearest two open seats. I grabbed an open spot at the far end, by the kitchen. Unlike rest of the counter, mine had the least surface area, partly due to a fruit serving bowl. Thirty minutes later, half the counter had cleared. As soon as I sat down, the bartender asked if I first checked with the hostess. After a short wait, she took my order. In addition to a flat white, I had ordered a Smoked Salmon Toast. Several minutes later, the manager informed me that they had ran out of smoked salmon. I hastily ordered the newest item, the Seasonal Scramble. After I received my flat white, I requested sweetener. The restaurant only offers raw sugar and stevia. After the bartender handed a few stevia packets, I asked for utensils. Unlike the other seats at the counter, mine had a menu but no utensils. The bartender handed me a fork and knife. Even though she just provided sweetener, she failed to provide a spoon. The manager did not notify everyone about the salmon. The bartender noticed the Seasonal Scramble was not what I ordered from her. The dish was a chore to eat. With the provided knife, the thin sourdough toast was tough to cut. The thinner the toast, the harder to cut. While not a fan of eggplant, the eggplant and tomato kasundi enhanced the flavor of the eggs. Some of the add-ons are questionable. The Smoked Salmon Toast includes smoked salmon and a poached egg. Adding the same to the Smashed Avo Toast would make it a significantly more expensive dish. The couple seated next to me ordered a coffee cake with their breakfast. They must have been regulars. The Seasonal Scramble left me still hungry; the halloumi add-on may have satiated me. When the dish was initially created, the grilled halloumi must have been included.

Wow, we finally found a really great breakfast option in DFW! We've gone twice in the past week. Both times the service was fantastic and the food & coffee was amazing! From presentation to taste, the food surpassed our expectations. We love the vibe also. It's just quiet enough and decorated beautifully. My husband and I shared an açaí bowl and the big brekky. One of our sons also tried the lemon poppy seed waffle. All were delicious, made well, and fresh! I especially loved the hash browns and chili crisp fries. Two Hands is levels above most breakfast/brunch spots we've tried here in DFW. I highly recommend a reservation, even early in the morning. They also validate valet & garage parking!

Burrata with Kasundi and Roti

Came tonight and very underwhelmed. 1. Drinks were overpriced and so sweet. The espresso martini and the strawberry shortcake were really sweet. Not a wide variety of options. We started with the burrata and our server told us it was it was meat and cheese. When he served it to us he said he was wrong about the meat. Burrata was so blah. Flavorless and only one piece of roti. Wasn't good. Next up- we got burger and steak frites. Steak frites was ordered medium rare and came rare. It was very very chewy and very red. Would have been way better fully cooked. Burger was good, good portion size. We each still had 1/2 of our entrees left and our server came over with the check and the place was open for another hour and pretty empty. This was rude and made us feel very rushed. Overall, it's not so new that some of this should be happening. Service needs work on knowing the menu and table etiquette.

Henry's Chicken Sandwich

We checked this place out for brunch and had a good experience. We had a table near the window. The sun was shining through making for a well-lit atmosphere, but it was a little warm inside. We started with the crispy chili fries. They were unique and had excellent flavor. My wife ordered an iced mocha and the Henry's chicken sandwich. I ordered the Two Hander burger with fries. Everything was tasty and the portion sizes match the price. I probably would get a different side with the burger since we had fries for an appetizer, but the fries were good. The staff were friendly. We will be back to try their dinner menu soon.

Steak Au Poivre

Food was good. Drinks were great. Service was bad. We ordered the sausage rolls (loved), the pesto cavatelli (pretty good), and the steak au poivre (sauce was delicious, fries were addicting, but came out not hot). My dirty martini was pretty perfect. The service was just bad. I want to give them the benefit of doubt that they were understaffed/had something going on...but there was one bartender and no hostess. It was a packed Friday night. We sat at the bar to wait for a table and never got a menu and didn't order drinks for about 15 min. We almost got up to leave because we sat for so long with no one serving us. The two waiters filling in for the hostess were not communicating. One waiter told us we were about to be seated and the other told us she never put us on the waitlist and it would be at least 15 more minutes to wait (and she was sassy!). Thankfully we were seated and ordered right away. Our server was quite busy so it was hard to order a second round of drinks. So I understand it was a rough night but just not enjoyable for the customer. Overall we enjoyed our food and want to go back to try their brunch but unsure of if we can deal with that service again!

LEMON POPPYSEED WAFFLE vanilla mascarpone cream, strawberries, bergamot maple syrup
Fatima H.

Stopped by Two Hands in Dallas for brunch and I've already been twice within weeks of discovering it. The first visit I had a latte and the avocado toast. Second time I went with a different friend and we shared a few things: the Lemon Poppyseed Waffle (vanilla mascarpone cream, strawberries, bergamot maple syrup), the Smashed Avocado Toast, and the Crispy Chilli Fries with sesame chilli crunch and chives. Honestly, everything was delicious, but the waffle was the standout -- so good and also very pretty. Highly recommend ordering that. I also tried the Strawberry Rose Matcha both visits, iced the first time and hot the second, and it was yum both ways.

I had such a great experience at Two Hands in Dallas, and I have to give a special shoutout to Andrew. His customer service was truly exceptional -- attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. If you visit Two Hands, definitely ask for Andrew! I came in on a Friday morning to get some work done, and it was the perfect environment. The Wi-Fi was stable, the restaurant wasn't too loud, and I was able to take calls (on mute) without feeling like the space was chaotic or distracting. It struck the perfect balance between lively and productive. Great service, great atmosphere -- I'll absolutely be back!

Banana Bread
Yolanda H.

I'm quite sure that I've fallen in love with the Two Hander burger. The flavor of the patties, the kewpie sauce and the crispy shoestring fries caused me to double back and have it for lunch twice in one week! Or, maybe it was the banana bread that we choose to have before our meal because it's that good, so why wait. Two words about the banana bread... espresso mascarpone. One bite and there is no mystery as to why the banana bread is at the top of the menu (insert drool here -- ).

I walked down to this location after my nail appointment I was looking for some breakfast. It is a quick two minute walk very conveniently located. The vibe inside is great and they have lovely outdoor seating as well. The staff was super friendly and told me they are usually booked two months out for brunch reservations. They said the best time to come to brunch without a reservation is between 8 and 9 AM or later in the afternoon after 2 PM. They serve brunch until 4 PM but they were super friendly and definitely made me want to come back and I will be back. The food looked great that was coming out on trays and people will certainly having a good time.

Lemon Poppyseed Waffle

Tasty brunch options -- some hits, some misses! I stopped by for Sunday brunch with a friend. They're busy, so definitely make a reservation! The interior is modern and trendy. Service was decent -- I waited a good bit to be seen by a host and the server once I was seated. Food & Drink: - Lavender Matcha: standard! Would drink again! - Breakfast Burrito: loved the addition of the hashbrown and the mushrooms. Delicious! - Lemon Poppyseed Waffle: wanted to love it, but was disappointed. The waffle was extremely dry. Skip!

The ambience and the cleanliness of this restaurant was very high quality. I liked the warm colors and the smells of the coffee bar. The drinks were amazing and full of flavor. I ordered the chai latte and it was not watered down like other places are. I ordered an egg and salmon dish. The egg was great, and I loved sweet and fresh jam for my bread. However the salmon was quite dry and somewhat over cooked and not flavorful. Maybe I should have tried something else. But it was still a great experience overall.

I would happily eat either again without hesitation. Drinks: * 10 oz iced vanilla latte -- creamy, smooth, and made with quality-tasting beans. No complaints here. * 10 oz cappuccino (oat milk) -- tasty... but visually alarming. When the cappuccino arrived, it looked like it had been on a diet. A very strict one. I genuinely thought there had been a pouring mistake, so I politely asked at the counter. The response? "Yes, that's correct--it's supposed to be about 1 1/2 inches from the top." Reader, it was not 1 1/2 inches. It was more like "emotionally distant from the rim." I even slid the cup closer, hoping maybe perspective was playing tricks on me. Nope. Same answer. Same empty real estate at the top of the cup. Now, I understand cappuccinos aren't filled to the brim. I respect foam science. I honor espresso traditions. But this was bordering on half-cup energy at a full-cup price point. Photo included so you folks can be the judge

Loved the merch in the back, especially the tote bags! It was packed at all times on a Saturday, and the line was always long! However, the drinks came out pretty quick, and the employees were definitely working hard behind the counter. I got the matcha squared drink, which was so creamy and not as sweet as some of their other drinks. I was wanting to try a holiday drink, but I was too scared it would be too sweet, so I'm glad I chose the squared latte instead. The service here wasn't super great unfortunately, I was greeted by what I presume is the manager (she was kind) but the people behind the bar seemed like they had other places to be. Not the worst service, but it made me want to try other locations in the future instead. Inside the building is really cute though! The atmosphere is lively and bright.
