Great cocktail bar in hotel swexan. I actually prefer this spot to Babous (their downstairs concept that's focused a little more on the later night and party crowd). Isabelle's is higher end than Babous from a hosting and ambiance perspective for fancy craft cocktails. The ambiance is quiet, cozy, and authentic. The cocktails are top notch and always served with some small bites like they do in Europe. I particularly like their negornis and old fashioned.

javier made this visit phenomenal! pinnacle of service. he took time to talk with my group, accommodated us bringing a birthday cake, got us food before the kitchen closed, and took us for a tour/peak of the speakeasy even though it wasn't open this night. the bar itself was a cozy library style lounge and decorated beautifully for christmas. from the valet guys out front to javi's devotion, we were treated so well from start to finish.

I'm so glad we stumbled upon this gem tucked just past the lobby of Hotel Swexan. Isabella's is a small but super charming spot, with a cozy lounge vibe that felt like we were sipping cocktails in chic living room. The staff were super attentive, and took great care of us. The drinks were also top-notch. The lemon drop martini was my favorite with the cosmo being not too far behind. A really small detail that really elevated the experience was the little touch of hors d'oeuvres chips, olives, and nuts that came with our cocktails. If you're looking for a relaxed, intimate place to unwind, especially during the winter months, I can't recommend Isabella's enough. It's the perfect spot to sip, chill, and enjoy great service. 10/10 will absolutely be back!

It is really a whole experience. It is a small quaint place. The area is small but elegant. The lounge setting is comfortable. The service was great and the servers were very attentive. The drinks were perfect and strong. We got the lemon drop, lychee and DD. The steak sandwich is flavorful and meaty. The Caesar salad was good, but needs more lemon and pepper. The breakfast plate was filling. The potato cake and chicken sausage a must try. I suggest big parties over 5 check out the other restaurants. It is perfect for a girls breakfast catch up and a small family meet up of 4. I will definitely be back. It is a really nice concept.

This place was not what I was expecting at all. Very small and a bit stuffy to me. I stopped by for after dinner cocktails and desserts on a whim. Service was a bit odd maybe because they were still new ish. We sat outside on their balcony/patio which was nice. Overall the expresso martinis and desserts were really good! I thoroughly enjoyed them. I would love to try their lunch/brunch.

Came to Isabelle's spontaneously on a date night after visiting Babou's downstairs. I really enjoyed my time here! Isabelle's is mainly a martini bar but have a full bar at hand. We ordered espresso martinis with tequila and they tasted like ice cream - so well done. You're even served a set of 3 free snacks: salty potato chips, assortment of nuts and olives. The vibe is upscale, the aesthetic is very Bridgerton/high tea, and the hostess' are very kind and beautiful. Definitely will be back!

Great location, the service was amazing, the staff was very attentive and caring. Would especially highlight the staff. The lobster salad was delicious and the stake was high quality and cooked well. The interior is pretty, brings you back to chick places that feel like home. Reminded me of King Cole in New York. I'll definitely come again. What could be improved: - menu selection is rather small, especially if you are looking for smth without bread - most mains have a lot of carbs (sandwiches, pasta) - i was seated in the middle of the room right before the shift change, and due to the shift change i had between 20 to 30 staff members passing by as they have the hotel back office behind the restaurant. Not a big deal, but was a bit distracting as I was working, a heads up would have been appreciated

My food was great, but the service was honestly a little bad, which is a shame because this dish and ambiance was so nice. This restaurant just isn't capable of handling a party larger than two. Service was slow, our table was moved, and we had to repeat things multiple times before we actually got them. We were also definitely overcharged and did not receive an itemized bill. You'll be able to take some lovely photos, but I don't recommend coming here at all. There are other cute restaurants in Dallas with good food.

I won the Fourth of July long weekend staycation discussion and almost won the how great was the Swexan debate until our brunch order arrived with the avocado toast on white bread and not on whole wheat bread like we had requested. Otherwise we loved the patio seating and enjoyed taking our time with the assortment of chef's choice pastries, vegetable crudités, and avocado toast. It was really almost the perfect breakfast after a long night of waiting for the baby to fall asleep. Why doesn't avocado toast default to whole wheat or multigrain bread? Because wellness at the Swexan is a trend and not a deeply held ethical life principle. Oh well.

The perfect place for your amazing photos!

If upscale relaxation, supreme decor, and amazing cocktails are what your day call for; Isabelle's is your place. From valet, to the friendly front desk staff, the European boutique hotel ambiance of Hotel Swexan will enchant you, and your guest. Great to know you don't have to be a guest staying with Swexan to treat yourself to an enjoyable time at Isabelle's, however the experience is even nicer if you do. From breakfast, to the evening bar menu, you'll find the perfect accompaniments for your beverages of choice, thanks to the well stocked bar, management's attention to detail and unmatched excellence. Open daily, Isabelle's closes a little earlier during the week, so plan accordingly. Can't wait to share time with you at Isabelle's ! Xoxo Lorenzo!

One of my all-time favorite places in Dallas to grab cocktails. The best vibes and the coldest martini ever. The staff is fantastic, too!

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.
