For starters, Love the location. They do validate for parking as well. We sat outside because it was a sunny day, which got hot very fast because there's no fans blowing or any type of air circulating around the restaurant. I recommend you sit inside. I don't think they trained their servers well. While our server was very nice - she knew NOTHING about the menu. When I asked her what HER favorite items, she said, "well a lot of people get the burger." I said, "I'll just get the burger medium rare then" and she walked away. She came back 5 minutes later and said "we can't do medium rare because it's a smash burger." This is something she should have known considering this is such a popular item according to her. I was with 3 other people and our food took 45 minutes before we received it. The restaurant wasn't even busy so I have no clue what took our food so long. I would rate the burger 7/10. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito which doesn't come with any protein, you have to add it - and the only option is bacon for an additional $6 for 2 small slices inside. Burrito 6.5/10 One of our friends got the chicken sandwich, which is chicken salad with a mango chutney and some type of earthy green dish on the side. It wasn't good at all 2/10. The drinks were good, and so was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Would I return? No. But I'm glad we gave it a shot. See pictures below. The lemon poppy seed waffle with strawberries and lavender was a special treat following a morning walk on the Katy Trail and the exceptionally friendly and attentive service provided by Justin was a stand out. He treated us as if we were the most important guests in the house noting our preferences for items on the side and keeping the cappuccinos coming. Walked in to get a smoothie and salad to go. NO ONE in restaurant. Asked if they could leave out the date and coconut oil for allergies in the smoothie. They refused to make it for me because it was a "substitution". Maybe it's because I'm almost 60 lol, but I was in shock! Literally saving them money on the very expensive menu $24 for a salad with salmon and $11 (?) for the smoothie and they wouldn't leave something out for an allergy? I even called back and asked the manger if this could possibly be correct. I go to the one in Brooklyn regularly. Use to recommended. Now, will never go again. Just walked ten miles and I'm sitting here hoping that this place goes out of business lol. Horrible experience. Go to the many other places around If you have a choice. read more

We have been by a few times- when they first opened and just recently, and while at first we were impressed and knew we would likely return, the most recent visit went the opposite direction. They have the trickiest way to make reservations- there is no link on their website directing you how or where to make reservations, when you finally get to the correct place, the reservation are available. Are usually way ahead of time. While this normally doesn't impact my view of a restaurant, what does is that every time we go in, It's the very first thing they ask you. Do you have a reservation? And if you don't, it seems we become an annoyance to them. The food temperature and time of service leaves to be lacking as well. The food is good but so are many other restaurants in the Dallas area. The four stars are for the potential of the space, idea, food, location. The four stars are based on the very first visit. However, I will not be returning or recommending it to others at this point based on our very recent visit. read more

First visit, and unfortunately not impressed. The seasonal scramble was poorly executed--overcooked eggs on bread with a small amount of mashed eggplant and tomatoes. The harissa chicken bowl tasted indistinguishable from Cava, just at a higher price point. We live in the area, but we won't come back. We went for dinner. The ambiance was great. Drinks were decent. Appetizers were pretty good also. We ordered pesto gnocchi and asked the waitress if it was super citrusy and she said not so much. The pasta tasted like you bit into a lemon rind. The waitress said the chef would make a new one for us. Came back 2 minutes later with the same exact dish. Find that pretty offensive, like we wouldn't recognize it was the same thing. Maybe it's because they are just starting and have a few things to work out. I would love to offer a full review but we left the building after waiting for about ten minutes with no service. The physical building is really pretty and the atmosphere is nice. I've been wanting to try this place as I drive by all the time. Came today for dinner. It was alarmingly empty. Maybe one or two other tables. Considering it's known for breakfast we decided to go in anyways. The gentlemen outside were very nice and we elected to sit at the bar. And that is all we did Sit there with no service. I don't mind waiting when people are busy. But literally watching staff socialize and completely ignore customers in an empty restaurant is inexcusable. So whomever is reading this- don't wonder why your dinner hour is suffering. People can't spend money if you don't offer them service. Tell the tall brunette guy who seemed super confused when we got up and left - but didn't actually say anything - that I hope things work out well with his apartment situation. Heard all about that. Never once got offered service. Or even the opportunity to wait for service. Just nothing. Won't be back. read more

Had a great meal at Two Hands! Loved how fresh everything was! Ordered the crispy chili fries, harissa chicken bowl, and banana walnut bread and my friend got the pesto cavatelli. The fries weren't necessarily hot when the came out, but they were on the thinner side so I could see how they'd have some trouble retaining heat - flavor was good though. Showed up on a weeknight without a reservation and the only available seating was the patio, it was a bit warm outside but they have umbrellas. The water was served without ice but we asked for some and they added it right away. Service was friendly and attentive - definitely will be back! read more

Having just moved from LA, I love and miss an all-day Australian cafe. This place is incredible. Extremely consistent, delicate flavors where the fresh ingredients are the star of the show instead of the oil, salt, and sugar. Beautiful airy building, super friendly staff (Michael, Maria, Taylor Paige). Everything I've had here has been super fresh and delicious but my go-to is the breakfast burrito and walnut bread. Incredible flavors! Just what we needed in the area, a late brunch (8am-5pm) Monday to Sunday spot that is also guilt free with the best vibes!! The cherry on top for me was their personable staff that remembers your name and favorite drink! I've been here a couple of times throughout the day, keep in mind they're steady busy all day since they're the new kids on the block. Be patient, it's 100% worth the wait. Tip your servers and be nice, they're doing the best they can with the amount of business they already have. This place is legit with a huge following from their other locations.
