Came here for brunch with a friend. Heard of them on TikTok as being part of the matchbook series. Upon arrival we were seated right away and everyone was super friendly. I had The Big Brekkie for my meal and it was amazing!!! I loved every item on that plate, the hash browns were my absolute favorite, and their avocados were so fresh. Loved the chill ambiance as well, makes you feel relaxed. I am taking a star because I originally wanted the Steak and Egg, but the waitress said it can only be done medium rare and there was no way to get it more cooked. She stated once she puts it in they will just make it that way, like as if the kitchen was an unknown place she couldn't tell the cook about my preference. Overall it was a good breakfast just wish they were more accommodating.

I've given this place three chances now...the food is pretty good, but the service is just soooo slooowwwww. If you go here, just know your food will take at least 30 minutes. It's insane. I thought it would get better but it hasn't.

Such a cute and fun spot! Went for a mid week late lunch and it was perfect. Banana walnut bread is naturally gluten free and the espresso mascarpone on top was fantastic. We split the slice as an appetizer. Harissa chicken lentil bowl was good. Probably wouldn't order again but was great to have once. Free street parking.

This place is sooo cute and everything was so fresh and amazing. The Brussels sprouts usually come with parm so don't be surprised if yours look different but it was so tasty! Burgers - can never go wrong Katsu has a nice kick! They put 3 katsu in this sandwich. Juice - love it & the lattes were good Waffle was gooddddd!!!

I love this restaurant! The moment you walk in, the vibe is so tranquil and relaxing--very clean, polished, and stylish. It's the kind of place i'd happily bring friends to and feel proud introducing them to. The staff were also wonderful. Our waitress, Liz, was especially helpful--she recommended my coffee, which was delicious, and checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was beautifully presented, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared. This is officially my new go-to brunch spot, and I can't wait to come back. Bonus: it's very kid-friendly, which made the experience even better

Came here for brunch with some friends! They have a good menu with lots of variety and vegetarian options. I tried the Pesto Feta scamble, my friends tried the breakfast burrito and kale avocado salad. Everything was delicious. Ambiance was great, lots of natural lighting. Service was stellar. We will definitely be back.

Their banana walnut bread always hits the spot! I love that there is the option for both indoor and outdoor seating, and how well lit the inside is. Service was pretty good except for the fact I mentioned we were celebrating my friend's graduation in the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment of that during our dining experience unfortunately.

Loved everything about this spot! I was lucky to not make a reservation and still get a table right away. The service is very nice and attentive, always checking on us. But let me tell you about the food! It is definitely worth going back. I ordered the big brekky and everything was delicious. I replaced the bread with gluten free and it was perfectly crispy. Also, get the coffee. You can tell the quality of the beans is good. The place is beautiful as well. Simple and modern, with a huge window which brings in a ton of light.

Best meal I had on the trip. Wie stopped by here to grab a quick bite to eat. It was an easy walk in the uptown Dallas area. The place was cute and had plenty of tables. we started up with a Burrata and beets salad. I'm not a big beets fan, but it was really good. For entrees, we ordered the weekly special, chicken, karaage sandwich, and the catch of the day dish. It was salmon over a bed of lettuce with beets. It was fantastic. One of the best salmon dishes I had in my years of travel.. Service is really good. They were very attentive.

Such a cute brunch spot located at the Quad! The drinks were unique and tasted strong in a good way. The food we got all tasted delicious and were guilt free since it was pretty healthy. The presentation was gorgeous, and we were all excited to dig into our meals!

Dang this place is so flavorful and, for me, consistent. Drinks are da bomb (especially the Aussie Old Fashioned). Highly recommend the eggplant. Very clean and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. More on the classical fancy side, but our three year old enjoyed her drink and kids hummus plate.

    Seasonal Scramble

It was a risk coming here for breakfast. Even at 9:30am on a Saturday morning, the wait for a table was an hour. Rather than wait, many ate at the counter. The customer ahead of me snagged the nearest two open seats. I grabbed an open spot at the far end, by the kitchen. Unlike rest of the counter, mine had the least surface area, partly due to a fruit serving bowl. Thirty minutes later, half the counter had cleared. As soon as I sat down, the bartender asked if I first checked with the hostess. After a short wait, she took my order. In addition to a flat white, I had ordered a Smoked Salmon Toast. Several minutes later, the manager informed me that they had ran out of smoked salmon. I hastily ordered the newest item, the Seasonal Scramble. After I received my flat white, I requested sweetener. The restaurant only offers raw sugar and stevia. After the bartender handed a few stevia packets, I asked for utensils. Unlike the other seats at the counter, mine had a menu but no utensils. The bartender handed me a fork and knife. Even though she just provided sweetener, she failed to provide a spoon. The manager did not notify everyone about the salmon. The bartender noticed the Seasonal Scramble was not what I ordered from her. The dish was a chore to eat. With the provided knife, the thin sourdough toast was tough to cut. The thinner the toast, the harder to cut. While not a fan of eggplant, the eggplant and tomato kasundi enhanced the flavor of the eggs. Some of the add-ons are questionable. The Smoked Salmon Toast includes smoked salmon and a poached egg. Adding the same to the Smashed Avo Toast would make it a significantly more expensive dish. The couple seated next to me ordered a coffee cake with their breakfast. They must have been regulars. The Seasonal Scramble left me still hungry; the halloumi add-on may have satiated me. When the dish was initially created, the grilled halloumi must have been included.

    Burrata with Kasundi and Roti
    Allison F.

Came tonight and very underwhelmed. 1. Drinks were overpriced and so sweet. The espresso martini and the strawberry shortcake were really sweet. Not a wide variety of options. We started with the burrata and our server told us it was it was meat and cheese. When he served it to us he said he was wrong about the meat. Burrata was so blah. Flavorless and only one piece of roti. Wasn't good. Next up- we got burger and steak frites. Steak frites was ordered medium rare and came rare. It was very very chewy and very red. Would have been way better fully cooked. Burger was good, good portion size. We each still had 1/2 of our entrees left and our server came over with the check and the place was open for another hour and pretty empty. This was rude and made us feel very rushed. Overall, it's not so new that some of this should be happening. Service needs work on knowing the menu and table etiquette.

I didn't like the food. Charge 6 dollars to add bacon. No thank you. Coffee was okay. My husband like the hamburger and fries.

I absolutely fell in LOVE with this coffee shop in the city!…read more My friend and I decided that after lunch we would find a nice coffee shop to sit and enjoy the rest of our work day! We were on the hunt for a place that had a lot of seating, a good coffee menu and also sold pastries, and Otto's checked off all the boxes! I always say that when you are able to find front parking, also, you are exactly where you are meant to be, and somehow some way, we found just that! We both ended up ordering their wedding cake latte, that we later found out that changes colors based on whatever wedding they are hosting in the hotel they are located in. HOW COOL! The latte was FANTASTIC! I love when a coffee shop serves it in glass when you are deciding to sit for a bit! It felt so welcoming! I also decided to order their pound cake which was FANTASTIC! SO moist and perfect with my latte! However, the true star of the show has to be the ambiance! It's located in downtown in the Adolphus hotel and it is STUNNING inside! You truly get a city coffee shop experience at OTTO's! They had plenty of chairs and tables, as well as plugs! Which made our visit that much more great! Overall, I highly recommend it, and I will definately be back!

Coffee was decent, nothing to rave about. My cappuccino was served in a paper cup which I was not thrilled about. We were eating inside, not taking anything to go, so there was no reason for that. Paper cups influence the flavor of a hot espresso and I drink mine with no sweeteners specifically because I want to taste the actual shot. The espresso was also slightly burnt, which tells me the machine needs a good cleaning. Iced coffee is a different story but for hot cappuccinos, ceramic makes a real difference. My husband's coffee was good though and he was happy with his. Breakfast sandwiches were the toaster style, similar to what you'd expect from a place without a full kitchen. I genuinely enjoyed mine. My husband was not impressed by his. Overall it was a good enough time. We would not go out of our way to come back but if we were in the downtown area and needed a reliable spot in a pinch, we would stop in again. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.
