It's one of the most affordable lattes in Dalas. They offer a large with 3 or 2 shots, no extra charge. I thought it was a joke. They have seating, but no WiFi. People are usually chatting, reading, or hot spotting. They have limited menu but it was great to not be $9 for a latte. It was $7 for an actual large latte. They also bring the latte to you, which is a nice touch and never goes under notice when I come here. They have a parking lot garage and parking in the front as well. read more

Best Dallas coffeee shop!!!! it does get busy but it is so worth it. Especially Saturday and Sunday if there is a long line. Just to remind you, there is F45 there any yoga studio there so it will get long line once they're done with their classes. I'm going outside it does get a little bit loud, but you still have a conversation with your friends in there or you can still drink the coffee outside. Local or tourist this is the spot. You do order Starbucks drink a macchiato that is equivalent to their latte. Their latte, macchiato and cold brew are fantastic. I've started coming here after my run on Saturdays. Coffee and sandwiches are very good. I've been scratching my head lately on their trouble at filling my coffee order which is very simple: an Americano ("long black" at LDU) with a bit more than a splash of cold oat milk in it. And I'd like to drink it there in one of their ceramic mugs. They told me today they will not do this for me any more and if that's what I want I'll need to bring my own cup. Wha?! I think the problem may be that they don't like the presentation and it's too much liquid for their cups. We have tried multiple coffees and sandwiches at LDU now and have been very impressed. We love their vanilla latte as well as a honey cinnamon latte with oat milk. The Yolk Oh O No sandwich is one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches. with the sun dried tomatoes being a great flavor add. Customer service is terrible! Ordered a sausage kolache, it was given to me cold. When asked if it could be warmed up I was told no. Then ordered a flat white - a flat white has very little to no foam. That's the whole point of the drink - flat - no foam. This had half a cup full of foam. We ordered the Yolk O' Oh No sandwich and the Marco Pollo grilled sandwich and both were perfectly toasted, flavorful, and absolutely did not disappoint. I would happily eat either again without hesitation. Drinks: * 10 oz iced vanilla latte -- creamy, smooth, and made with quality-tasting beans. No complaints here. * 10 oz cappuccino (oat milk) -- tasty... but visually alarming. When the cappuccino arrived, it looked like it had been on a diet. A very strict one. I genuinely thought there had been a pouring mistake, so I politely asked at the counter. The response? "Yes, that's correct--it's supposed to be about 1 1/2 inches from the top." Reader, it was not 1 1/2 inches. It was more like "emotionally distant from the rim." I even slid the cup closer, hoping maybe perspective was playing tricks on me. Nope. Same answer. Same empty real estate at the top of the cup. Now, I understand cappuccinos aren't filled to the brim. I respect foam science. I honor espresso traditions. I stopped in at LDU Sunday morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. It was a happening spot with quite a bit of people in line. The line moved fairly fast. I did notice if you do order food it does take them a bit to bring your food out. I got the Yolk O Oh No sandwich. It contained egg, bacon, sun dried tomatoes. The sandwich was a little disappointing it just looked like a sad sandwich and had a not so great taste. The coffee was delicious and had great flavor. Overall a great experience but will stick to just coffee next time. read more

Ordered the usual: decaf flat white with heavy cream. They take your name (and probably a clothing description) but walk your drink directly to you. Kind of a neat touch there. Strong bitter coffee, more foam than I'd prefer (more latte than flat white). Temp is just right for being able to drink it down quickly. The "H+H" scribed on the lids has us both curious/concerned that it might be half and half vs heavy cream. Ehn. The service is top notch and on the weekends they have delicious pastries. I bring all my friends to this spot and no one has ever had a bad experience. 2.75 I was craving a sweet treat, so I stopped in to try a couple of loaves. I got the cinnamon coffee cake, and it wasn't good at all. It tasted like it had been in the fridge for at least a day. I'm mad because I got 2. I got 1 toasted and buttered, and they both tasted like refrigerator. I also got a morning glory that was delicious. The cinnamon coffee cake wouldn't have been good even if it didn't taste like refrigerator. The staff was great. I came in 15 minutes before closing, but they still served me without attitude which I loved. I would recommend to the owner/manager to maybe join Too Good To Go to get rid of the last of the pastries/snacks at the end of the day instead of refrigerating them and selling them at full price the next day. Run of the mill coffee shop. I always saw LDU was PACKED on weekends so I figured it must be the best, but I would say it is average, not in a bad way, but just nothing special. Upon entering, there is usually a line that will take 2-5 minutes to get through. I will say I give them a lot of credit on their ability to keep the line moving; however, I prefer a spot that has welcoming upon arrival. The staff is kind when you get to the front, but if you wait in line, it is some time before that exchange happens. Upon getting to register, the staff is kind, but I have not had an exceptional experience. When ordering, they have a small menu of basic options such as honey, chocolate, or vanilla flavors of your standard coffee/milk combination options. I personally would love to see more creative options from time to time as well as Carmel added to the menu as the current menu is overly basic in my opinion and not worth repeat visits. All in all, if you are in need of a quick caffeine boost, it will give you your fix, but if you're looking for something special, I'd recommend elsewhere. read more

You get this corporate feel as you walk up to the front door, the building is dark brick and looks very modern. Once you walk in, you see open space with communal tables and a minimalist feel. Decor-nothing fancy, simple wood booths, and a large circular table full the exterior of this place. The walls are high and they have some cool lighting. Service-I'd say it was ok, he took our order, but didn't really greet us or smile. Maybe he was having a bad day, not sure. Coffee-Cowboy Juice was smooth and stout.
