Cold brew with whole milk and Carmel
    Mari D.

A little loud for working from home. More of a grab and go coffee shop. Breakfast tacos from Tacodeli. I ordered the Rosellia tea but didn't like it so they traded it for a Cold Brew and it was delicious. Thank you!

Cherry blossom matcha, strawberry pop tart

Came here with a friend for coffee and a sweet treat. I got the cherry blossom matcha, which surprisingly was a really good mix of flavors. The matcha and cherry went really well together. We also tried the strawberry pop tart which is vegan and made fresh. Definitely an elevated version and much better than the ones in the grocery store. So glad to have discovered this coffee shop not too far for matcha cravings.

3.5 stars: 5 star flavor, 0.5 star price....Great Matcha latte with lavender syrup, probably the best I've had so far... but omg pricey. 12 oz is $8.28, not including tip. Me to barista when I received my order: is this the size I ordered? I was shocked. What's up with Dallas and it's pricey lattes?

This is a great stop after a walk around the lake for a pick me up. It's also got great seating for working and it is quiet and easy to access. The staff was fast and friendly, the coffee is fresh ground and made with expert precision. The flavor is great- and it's a perfect stop for a pick me up!

    cereal milk cold brew

Great product! Nothing beats the cereal cold brew!! My absolute go-to. Howevvvverrrr.. every single time I have picked up an online order at the Lakewood location. I have a very rude interaction from the staff working. Numerous times I have asked a question to the employee working and they cut me off and are extremely short and rude. This morning for example I picked my drink off the pick up shelf and noticed there was no cereal on top like normal - I asked the girl standing there (not busy at all) "Are you guys out-" and before I could finish my sentence she goes "yup" in a sassy tone. Another time I went to pick up two drinks and was asking, which is which. I said "Which-" and again didnt get a chance to finish my sentence before the man goes "theyre labeled" short and rude. Again, I cannot fault the product at all as this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Dallas. It is just very unfortunate 90% of my interactions at this location have been so rude! It seems I am being such a bother, asking them any questions at all as a customer??

Bright coffee shop with lots of natural light and comfy seating. I got an oatmilk cappuccino ($6.44 after tax) and it was just okay. As the Merit chain of coffee shops has expanded into many locations, I think they've lost some of the drink quality/service that originally made them great. Still, it's a great cafe to meet someone or work, but the coffee is not as good as what it could be.

They've got great murals on the walls and some solid merch for sale that definitely catches your eye. The matchas were amazing, crafted really well and not overly sweet like some places try to do. You can tell they take pride in getting the flavor right. Service was on point. They were patient, answered all our questions about the different matcha options, and never made us feel rushed. The lobby was full of people posted up working or hanging out, and honestly the vibe was not bad at all -- kind of chill, kind of creative, the type of spot you could stay in for a while. All around, a great late-night stop and now I see why it's one of her favorites.

I had been there about 5 to 6 minutes when the associate finally said I'll be with you in just a moment. I came to order a menu item that was recommended to me, the Banana Matcha Frappe but wanted oat milk. The associate at the counter said that they can't make it with almond milk, which I never said almond milk I asked for oat milk & yet she offered me whole milk. That defeats the purpose of me requesting oat milk. Furthermore after examining the menu, it looks like maybe I should've requested the latte but she never suggested that because I see oat milk as an option with the latte as opposed to the frappe. I left without ordering.

I went to visit their original location on Northwest Hwy. conveniently located right next to the Dallas Police Northwest Division. Fun fact: did you know that they have a roastery next to their original location? How amazing! However, that one is by appointment only, so check with them for more details. Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest. One, however, that really did catch my eye, was my all time-favorite: the White Rocker, which included two shots of espresso, whole milk, and their signature White Rock syrup. My friend on the other hand, got the Lone Star Latte -- chai with a hint of that White Rock syrup that they put in there as well! Because of their roastery, all of their coffee beans are sourced from local partners and cooked and roasted right here in the heart of Dallas. I'm just really glad that I was able to really catch up with the times that there are, honestly. I'll definitely be back to visit more whenever I'm in the DFW! Y'all have my support! :)

I went on Tuesday and was a little disappointed. I got a tea and sat downstairs but immediately I was FREEZING. I decided to go upstairs because I thought maybe a vent was blowing directly at me, but no!!! It was seriously so cold everywhere. A girl next to me was rubbing her hands together and blew into them just to keep warm. I mean, really? It was kind of funny how crazy cold it was. I expected to be there at least 3 or 4 hours since I had a lot to do but I left after 30 minutes. I wanted to go outside to sit down at one of their tables but not a table was in sight! I guess they got rid of them? I'll come back... with sweats on and a beanie! Not even trying to be funny I'm being so serious

Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

Amazing coffee spot in a cool Walnut Hill complex…read more I like the vibe here and their coffee is always on point. I've only been during the day and always spend a little time working before a coffee meeting. The WiFi is always good and the coffee is great. The ambiance is very open and inviting as well. They serve small bites as well but I haven't really partaken. Additionally, I think they have several beers on tap and they appear to all be cool local brews. If you're looking for a good local coffee shop with a vibe, this may be your new spot!!

This coffee shop has quietly become my Dallas work-week crush…read more It's conveniently close to the office I'm using while I'm here, but the real draw is the vibe. Beautiful sunshine pours through big windows, there's a lovely park right outside, and the light is so good it feels like the café equivalent of a good hair day. Dallas weather helps, obviously--but this place knows how to use it. The space is lively without being chaotic. Plenty of outdoor seating, lots of indoor seating, and a very reasonable three-hour Wi-Fi window that keeps people working instead of camping. It feels intentional. People come here to stay, not hover in line. Speaking of which--there's never a line. They're clearly well staffed, everyone's efficient, and everyone is genuinely nice. Now, pastries. This is where they shine. A lot of unique options you don't see everywhere, and everything I tried was excellent. The almond croissant? Fantastic. The blueberry cake? A must-get. I went two days in a row (because obviously), and on day one they told me it was their most popular item. Day two, by 11 a.m., it was completely gone and kept selling out as soon as they tried to restock. That alone tells you what you need to know. The matcha is good--made from scratch, which I appreciate. Is it the best matcha I've ever had? No. It's better than Local Johnny's, but not quite on the level of Marin Coffee Roasters or Ralph & Rose. Still very drinkable and enjoyable, especially if you're settling in to work. What really sets this place apart is its personality. It doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter café or "insert minimalist coffee brand here." There's charm. Character. A little whiteboard with a joke about New Year's resolutions that made me smile. Small details, but they matter. Would I come back? Absolutely. I already did--twice. I'd recommend it especially for locals looking for a solid work spot, co-working with a friend, or anyone who wants to be productive without being bothered. If you're visiting Dallas briefly, this might not be a destination café--but if you're here for a bit and want a reliable, pleasant, sunny place to work and snack, this one's a yes.
