White Rock Coffee is one of many places in the coffee scene within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, and what makes them taste like hometown are three things: authentic hospitality, variety of different drinks and sauces that they make, and most importantly, the way they gave back to the community. I went to visit their original location on Northwest Hwy. conveniently located right next to the Dallas Police Northwest Division. Fun fact: did you know that they have a roastery next to their original location? How amazing! However, that one is by appointment only, so check with them for more details. Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest. One, however, that really did catch my eye, was my all time-favorite: the White Rocker, which included two shots of espresso, whole milk, and their signature White Rock syrup. My friend on the other hand, got the Lone Star Latte -- chai with a hint of that White Rock syrup that they put in there as well! Because of their roastery, all of their coffee beans are sourced from local partners and cooked and roasted right here in the heart of Dallas. I'm just really glad that I was able to really catch up with the times that there are, honestly. I'll definitely be back to visit more whenever I'm in the DFW! Y'all have my support! :)

Doing my level best to avoid the Green Siren people, I was able to get to White Rock this morning at 6:15 where I had no problem parking the Sprinter van and no problem finding a seat. Note that they do have an upstairs area but it gets rather warm there. Two great cups of coffee that lasted me for four hours through my "morning office" as I sent a few emails, sat through a Zoom conference call and did some work. It's not exactly a quiet spot but if you want that, try the library. This was good enough and I enjoyed it enough for five stars. Wifi and power outlets throughout. Rest room is clean. I love to come here. The ambiance consist of indoor and outdoor seating, plus there is upstairs seating. The coffee is delicious here. There are coffee bags of different flavors of their signature blend. The bags are whole beans. They will grind the beans at no additional charge if you desire to enjoy fresh brewed coffee from here at home. No worries if you would like a light pastry with your coffee. They sell an assorted selection of pastries, drinks, and snack packs. The service is always fast and friendly. There is one dilemma. As a result of their popularity and tiny space, the drive thru is usually long and trying to find parking is extremely challenging. If you are in a rush, this spot may not be the spot. If you want to meet up with some friends, carpool and enjoy.

I love coming here for the always fresh roasts and super friendly service. It's nice to count on a consistently great neighborhood coffee shop I can always go to and have a great experience.

White Rock Coffee was an indulgent and memorable experience. While traveling to Texas we pulled in here to grab some coffee for the road. We ended up buying some of their bags of coffee beans and got some cups of lattes. They offer a wide range of different milk options. I ended up getting a chai from there which was done perfectly. I very much enjoyed it. The cafe is rather large considering that it has an upper level. It's such a cute casual place with plenty of places to hang out or work at. They also have a drive-thru as well. The staff was super nice and informative. They were happy to answer any of our questions. And besides their awesome drinks they also had a large variety of sweet and savory food items. There were so many good pastries on displays. I highly recommend if you love coffee and are in the area.

What a cute coffee spot - perfect location and scratches that itch when you aren't certain what variations of caffeine you want. Excellent service and the coffee is reasonably priced and really good. Great options for a quick bite- bagels, pastries, salads, cookies- and a little shop to buy swag and coffee and accessories

Every time I'm in Dallas I have my sister take me by White Rock Coffee. This time we went through the drive thru and ordered a few cool drinks and a pup cup to take back to my fur nephew. It was so cute, when we got to the window to pay, a few baristas were waiting at the window with the cashier to see the doggy and were so upset to hear he was waiting at home and not in the car. They made a super cute pup cup with two doggy biscuits. The service was great, our drinks were delicious as always, and per usual, everything was great. I didn't grab a bag of fresh roasted coffee this trip but if you ever stop by White Rock Coffee you MUST get some of their fresh roasted coffee beans to take home and enjoy. You can also order online. And don't forget to go inside, they have a great lounge area and cool merchandise to take home.

I am very happy to have found this coffee shop in the white rock area. I loved the blended caramel latte and the desserts looked very delicious and fresh. I visited during a Sunday morning and there was plenty of seating and the drive thru looked very efficient. This is a great place to get some work done but it can be a bit loud. I studied with my headphones on and had no problem! The wifi is also free and the service is great. I really like this shop and I will definitely be going back!

I honestly do not understand why White Rock Coffee has such a high rating. First the wait for orders is way too long and there's no clear system to manage it. Second I ordered a cappuccino and the coffee was so over-roasted that it tasted bitter and burnt. Honestly it's one of the worst coffees I've ever had QuikTrip coffee is better (and that says a lot). I also tried a sweet kolache, which was decent, but if you're looking for a great coffee experience, this isn't the place.

Homemade pastries check, 2nd story seating check, coffee check! Pretty interesting coffee shop with two stories and tons of workers and people just studying away! The croissant and oat milk sopapilla iced latte ended up ~$10. the home made heated croissant was quiet buttery and good! sopapilla latte was interesting, their roasted beans makes it a different hint I can not describe. Its not my choice of beans personally. This drink was very popular with different staff fyi, but I can just live with the regular latte.

My sister recommended this place for coffee when I was searching for a place to hang out with my mom for a while. So glad she pointed us in this direction. One of the main reasons why? THE SCONES! Oh my gosh! The chocolate strawberry was delicious! Packed with fresh strawberries! And the cinnamon sugar was divine! Moist and buttery! My daughter and I were happy! (So was my mom but she had been here before.) Philly has some really great coffee shops but the scones at White Rock rival any I've had.

Does the white rocker has coffee?

Yes, the White Rocker contains coffee. A hot White Rocker has two espresso shots. The blended and iced White Rocker has different amounts of cold brew for each size. Hope that helps!

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

The layout is spacious but welcoming. I sat at the bar as I was solo, but there were plenty of great seating options including comfortable couches. The patio is currently being re-done, but will be perfect for the upcoming fall season. The menu offerings were plentiful and varied, but there are specials and rotating options as well. Alexa at the bar greeted me, and went over the menu and specials with me. She did a great job making my cocktails and giving casual conversation throughout. I ordered the off-menu Steak Frites with broccolini and fries. The steak was charred perfectly on the outside and moist and at the lovely medium temp on the inside. The broccolini was on point with just a bit of spice from the red pepper. Fries were shoestring style, and they did it right with that perfect crisp on the outside and soft inside. I learned that Thursdays are paella night! What a great surprise in downtown Dallas! When in the city again, this will absolutely be my go to place for cocktails and great food.

We also ordered the lobster mac & cheese, fried catfish, pork chops, black-eyed peas cooked with smoked turkey over rice, collard greens, smoked oysters, grilled shrimp appetizer, wild berry lemon drops, and strawberry lemonade. Everything was delicious. Not one disappointing dish on the table. Then came the bill...$450 for four people, with no dessert. That was definitely a bit of a shock. We realized gratuity had already been added, which helped explain the total, but it still felt steep and took a little of the shine off an otherwise great experience.
