The cutest little coffee shop tucked away in Lakewood - Just a heads-up: they're not open on Sundays. The menu is small but thoughtfully done, with a few pastries and a handful of cozy tables if you want to sit and stay awhile. My go-to order is the iced latte with half-sweet lavender syrup that's perfectly balanced, strong coffee flavor, and not overly sweet. A true neighborhood gem. read more

Visited this small coffee shop since we were in the area. It has a nice, retro vibe; they have a few tables for seating. Overall it's def smaller so you might not be able to get a table to work. The staff was very nice, even chatted with us while drinks were being made. The coffee quality was in my opinion average. The pour over could've had more flavor, but it wasn't burnt so that was a plus. We also tried a sesame latte that could've used more sesame flavor. Slightly disappointed but the results haven't driven me away yet, I think I'll it another go if I'm around. read more

Very cozy spot. Came here with a girl friend after she kept raving about this place-- I knew I had to see what the fuss was about! The coffee shop itself is tiny but mighty. Small space with very limited seating (probably three tables) but that's ok!! Everyone that visited while I was there just ordered their drink & headed out. Very grab & go vibes. Their matcha is very very very good. I ordered an iced matcha latte with Oatmilk and honey & it was very rich tasting. None of that fake stuff. Service was super quick. This is a tiny shop on the corner of a street, but you can tell it's beloved amongst the neighborhood as it was quite busy on a weekday midmorning. The staff greeted me kindly and were patient in helping me decide what to order. The barista was very nice even though it was bit busy and working by himself. Parking: It is mostly street parking but fairly easy (I went on a weekday). I ordered the Orange Bird - Hojicha tea with Americano, Chocolate, and Orange bitters. I was hesitant about getting this drink because I am usually a latte or matcha girly. I was intrigued by the drink because it has Hojicha. So I went with it. AND IT WAS 10/10. I was very surprised! Slightly sweet but not too sweet. Visited this shop after seeing it on TikTok and so glad I did! They have a seasonal menu and ceremonial matcha! There's maybe 3 small tables inside but I didn't ask about WiFi so not sure if this would be a good spot to work. The baristas are super nice and their prices are comparable to other shops. How did I not know about this locally owned gem right in the heart of our East Dallas neighborhood? My daughter and I popped in after hearing rave reviews from friends. Walking in, the owner was welcoming and the aroma was amazing. My chai was perfectly hot and spicy. Her coffee was rich and just sweet enough. We were lucky to get the last warm cardamom and orange bun to share. Thus will definitely become a regular coffee shop for us. read more

this neighborhood spot has a lot going for it, and a lot going against it. their hot tea and matcha are fantastic, but their baristas are unbelievably pretentious. after several visits, i've been often met with workers rolling their eyes and hopping off their seats as if i'm an inconvenience, and asking me super condescending questions. as a service manager myself, i'd be so embarrassed to have these people as my employees. aesthetics and recipes can't compensate for everything. read more
