I'm on a hunt to find good American coffee and I heard so much good things about LDU, but unfortunately this was the worst I've ever had. We got the Iced Latte w/ Honey & Matcha Latte. The coffee was okay, it was way below average for me. The matcha latte was TERRIBLE! You can easily tell by the color. It just tasted like milk, very bland milk to be exact. My boyfriend and I went to LDU for coffee on Saturday morning and enjoyed our lattes. There was a small line and a few people inside but nothing crazy. We got our drinks almost as fast as we found a spot to sit. The coffee here is on the bolder side, which I like, but isn't for everyone. They don't have many flavor customizations but I like that it's a simple menu. This is a cute, cozy spot for coffee on the weekends that won't break the bank! read more

Super convenient and friendly cafe right off N75. The cashier was super knowledgeable as it was our first time and let me customize/order a dirty chai off the menu. He explained the levels of coffee and we ended up getting a cowboy coffee as well. Both came out fast and tasted smooth. Inside was super clean and we saw other patrons working on laptop and also chatting. Not too much seating but it's clean and service was pleasant. They almost gave us a bag of beans for free by accident and it was a funny moment returning it back. Would recommend and go again. read more

A solid coffee spot for your quick coffee and breakfast fix. They have a variety of sandwiches and baked goods to go along with drinks; there's also a few tables if you want to stay. Mostly a to-go place like the name suggests. I enjoyed their menu layout, super simple and informative. It cuts out a lot of the common questions you may have at coffee shops. The service was really good, they bring your items to you. The iced latte was delicious and priced very fairly! Definitely recommend! read more

This seems to be a new coffee shop in Greenville. Very humble. It looks like my host was being trained, and the owner was there in the front getting everyone. They have s bench to wait for your drink and they walk over to give it to you. The coffee shop was packed at 9:30 am. The coffee was great! The chai was spicy, but not overpowering! The oatmilk made it creamy. I like this place and will stop by if i am eating the area! read more

I did an online order pick up at this LDU this morning. Very prompt and quick service, which I feel like sometimes doesn't happen when you order online at certain coffee shops. It was already ready to go by the time I got there (for reference I got there right at the time I asked for it to be ready). I tried an iced cortado with almond milk for the first time! I thought it was the perfect blend of milk and coffee, but still had the coffee flavor I was hoping for. It wasn't sweet (which is how I wanted it) but still smooth and creamy! The perfect combo! I also ordered the iced vanilla latte for a friend who said it also tasted good! Perfect amount of ice, not watered down, good flavor, and prompt service! read more

LDU is amazing and I have visited 2 locations so far my ONLY complaint is that they aren't open late enough. I got a 16oz iced Vanilla latte with oat milk made strong. The "strong" would be 3 shots total in there from what I was told. Employees are very helpful and nice, which is another thing this place is known for. Ben at one of the locations went above and beyond to chat with me and help me find things I like! I also tried the Yolk O Oh No Grilled Sandwich and it was crispy and a little greasy ... two things I needed that day! Highly recommend any location as they seem consistent in every way! read more

So jazzed that this coffee shop opened within walking distance. My husband and I decided to check it out to start our day today and we are thrilled to have a new coffee spot. First off, the place is gorgeous inside and has plenty of seating. But the best part is the staff. Gimme a chatty, polite barista and I will be a loyal customer. This sweet barista dealt with all my questions about the coffee and the treats with my " What's this? "What's that?" with such grace and good recommendations. To top it off, he seemed to know basketball which thrilled my husband. I got the cowboy coffee which is what I guess they are known for. Very cute touch, but even better coffee. My morning glory loaf was delicious. Husband got the pumpkin loaf and said it was equally delicious. read more

Wack experience here. Nothing i've ever experienced before. Basically we were in the neighborhood for a super busy day where we would not have time to eat. We grabbed coffee and ordered 2 sandwiches. $30 bucks later, they tell us they are out of the sandwiches. The guy was very nice, but he said they don't know how to give partial refunds on their new system and wrote us an IOU. So instead of doing something to make the experience better, they would keep our money (we would go all day without having time to get food) and we would have to drive half an hour (1 hour round trip) to go out of our way and come back to get sandwiches we already paid for. So then we made the trip and came back, again, an hour round trip just to make use of the $30 they already had. Then when we gave the person the IOU, she says "unfortunately, not anymore." Lol wtf. She explains that later in the day their boss decided they would refund us HALF of the money, very stingily holding onto the half for the coffee after running us around town. And i said, "wait but you knew we would come back with this? So why make us go out of the way knowingly for nothing?"She did not have a response. The kicker is, we did NOT receive a "half" refund. So they gave us the sandwiches anyway. They were so-so. Overall, 2 hours and 30 dollars later, this place is so oddly stingy, they'd rather drive you around town for nothing than just say "sorry about the inconvenience, this one will be on us." Mistakes happen, they had the chance to earn loyal customers based on how they handled it. Instead, it was a strange experience. The guy who gave us the IOU was nice. The girl who told us we drove all the way there (AGAIN) for no reason was all up in arms like we were crazy for being confused. I wouldn't go here because if they have an issue, you will pay in both time, inconvenience, and money. Anything to save a few bucks for these guys. read more

No matter what location I go to, the customer service is absolutely impeccable. Every interaction is very personable and sincere. The coffee and pastries are high quality. Particularly the coffee cake, toasted and buttered. My go to is an oatmilk dirty chai and you can definitely tell the chai is homemade, packed full of flavor. The sandwiches are brought to the store pre-made and then warmed up upon ordering so not exactly the freshest & also means you can't customize sandwich contents to your preference but tasty regardless. It was also my first time, was asked if I wanted to try their house sauce on the side which I agreed. Upon checking my receipt, saw that I got charged for the sauce. It would have been more transparent to say that they cost extra as they asked. 3 stars for these reasons. Staff was friendly though. read more
