I love this restaurant. There is such a wide variety of menu items and nothing has ever disappointed. I've tried the Chicken Cobb salad, the wok out bowls, burgers, steak, and chicken Parmesan. It's always a great treat when we dine at Doc B's !! So many wonderful choices but my taste buds were already craving those Barbecue Ribs! I'm usually the last one to order but a glass of champagne and I was ready to order. I didn't want the cole slaw but our server Lynhia was amazing and so professional and suggested the crispy jalapeño potatoes ( that aren't spicy but very flavorful)really did go well with my Ribs . Restaurant always have a great vibe and the food was delivered in a timely manner plus warm towels and a plates for the bones ! I don't know if global warming is real but there was one small fruit fly or gnat flying around my face and around my head the entire time ( maybe it was attracted to my new cologne /Bellavita/Ceo . My dinner companion was so deep into his Ribs he never notice our little friend and finally he asked why I kept waving my hand ? You don't see that one gnat flying around.. I ended up asking for a to go box and the bill . By this time more gnats had appeared around his area of empty plate of bones and the neighboring table had began to complain also . Ok. Haven't been back in about 2 years. Decided to treat myself. I was disappointed. The service was good and the atmosphere was good. It was the food and drinks that let me down. I ordered the salmon plate. For $35, I expected more. The salmon fillet was half the size it used to be. Tastes fine, but I didnt get my money's worth. The margarita wasn't as good as they usually are. For $15, I've had better ones down the street for cheaper. The Dr Pepper was horribly watered down and drowning in ice. It was like drinking brown water. No carbonation or taste. For $4.50, I expected some taste. Nice people who tried, but the food was a terrible let down. When Ms. Countryman was manager, the place rocked. Not so now. I treated myself to a special lunch, now I'm going somewhere else ro make up for it. Won't be coming back. Thanks. read more

Came during lunchtime. The service was alright, it was hard to get our waiter's attention at times. The sweet potato fries weren't crispy, and there were a few other food issues with our party. Doc B's mostly delivers, with great food and service--though the drinks left a little to be desired. We started with the chimichurri wings and guacamole. The wings were the clear standout here--super flavorful and an easy recommend. The guac was solid but pretty standard. We also added the crispy potatoes, which were excellent and definitely worth ordering. For dinner, the menu really leans into fresh, healthier options. I had the seared tuna and kale salad, and shockingly... it converted me. I usually have a firm "no thank you" policy on kale, but this was actually really good. We also ordered the chicken kabobs, which were tasty and very generously portioned--definitely not leaving hungry. Drinks were the weak point for me. I ordered a mocktail margarita for Dry January, and unfortunately it was not great--basically tasted like diluted lemon juice. Others at the table had the espresso martini, which I couldn't try, but it was served over ice in a regular glass instead of a coupe or cocktail glass, which felt a bit off. That said, the service was excellent. Super attentive, kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and very accommodating with gluten-free needs, which is always appreciated. Overall, great food and service make this a solid 4-star spot for me--just hoping the cocktail program gets a little love. read more

Always a great meal / experience at Doc B's. From the easy nearby validated garage parking to the service to the food. All in a nice, casual atmosphere. Nice bar and patio area, too. Was confused why all the future Saturday reservations were unavailable on OpenTable until I finally realized they are closed on the weekend. Which is curious for the area. Maybe too much competition? All of the food here was good. The burger was solid had good seasoning and the kale salad was refreshing sweet and savory crunch. The wings were also very flavorful and were unique. The steak was solid and the crispy potatoes were probably the best part of the meal. One of the let downs were the sprouts only because I usually like them crispy and these were not and were lacking flavor. Finally the cake was a bit dry and I really wish it was warm with ice cream but our waitress recommended we add candied bacon and it was a great idea. However, what I believe truly is the best part of this restaurant is the staff. They are kind, talkative, and were very willing to accommodate our every question and need. I would love to be back to try more of the menu and perhaps lunch. read more

Eh, this place was alright. I expected more from the menu and its location. Parking is slim and only available in a parking garage. (Not ideal) The service was great! I will say that. It was a slow lunchtime and there were plenty of people there to help us. The food was average. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Such good vibes at this place! Lots of natural light, colorful decor, and friendly faces. I'm in love with their Wok Out bowls. I cannot go a month without one with the sweet&spicy Thai sauce and Shanghai Lo Mein noodles. The drinks are good as well :) Only caveat is the restrooms are very small and dimly lit. Came in for a client lunch on a Thursday afternoon. With it being my first time in Dallas, this place came well recommended by my coworkers. Loved the location, ambiance and overall set up. We were able to get a booth right away despite how busy the restaurant was. We got recommendations from our server and ordered the parm chicken and the ribs to share. My husband and I make it a point to enjoy a date night once a week, and this time, we decided to try Doc B's for the first time. We were genuinely delighted by the warm and professional customer service. Having moved to the area just four months ago, we were thrilled when the manager offered us a wonderful local discount. We enjoyed Gods beautiful cloudy weather while sitting on the patio, and we ordered the artichoke entrée along with four sides of our choice. We went with quinoa and feta cheese, a fresh salad, cucumber salad, sweet potato fries, and grilled broccoli. The only minor drawback was that the delicious artichoke was a bit on the small side, but the manager acknowledged this and said they would increase the size going forward. To increase our protein intake, we 2 pieces of grilled chicken, which was so tasty and tender we could cut it with a fork. I know this might sound a bit odd, but I gauge a restaurant's quality by their grilled chicken. If they can't get that right, I likely won't return. Thankfully, Doc Bees nailed it and I'm craving it now as I do this review. The waitstaff was attentive and respectful, timing their interactions perfectly, so we never felt interrupted during our conversation. We greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness. I also loved the grand modern wall art decorating the restaurant--it added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. Our happy hour cocktails were of great quality and spot on as well! One server who really stood out was a sweet, energetic character who reminded us of Sophia Bush from *One Tree Hill*--that's what we've affectionately decided to call her! Another perk was the complimentary car valet right in front of the restaurant. The only reason I'm not giving a five-star rating is that I'm a tough grader. While the artichoke entrée was delicious, I would rate it a four out of five due to its small size. Additionally, the mayonnaise sauce served with the artichoke was a big no--too fattening and u healthy. The chef should use plain nonfat Greek yogurt in his recipe and it would elevate the dish even more. If they can tweak these two things, I would definitely give them a five-star rating. Overall, I highly recommend Doc Bees, and I will definitely be returning! read more

They have bar seatings for solo diners, or patio for when weather is nice. My favorite items are knife and fork Cobb, buffalo chicken salad, and their ribs (they really do fall off the bone). They have a lot of selections on the menu, so you'll definitely find something you'll like. They can get quite packed at times, so it's best to reserve a table to be sure, especially for larger groups. read more

Tried this place for lunch recently and it was just ok. The first table they sat us at was directly in the sun. We asked to move tables, which they accommodated, but it also seemed to slow our service down. The chips and salsa, buffalo chicken sandwich and burger were all good. The kitchen must have been backed up though because it took a little over an hour and a half for lunch. We'll be back to try more items, but maybe for dinner instead. read more

I order through Doc B's website fairly regularly and my experience has been mixed. They frequently miss items that I've added on and paid for, even though they're clearly printed on the ticket. If you call about the missed items, they push for you to contact DoorDash to resolve on your own because doing it on their end might take 5 days. I don't have a DoorDash account and only order through the Doc B's website, so the only option provided is to call the restaurant again. They changed the website order form so you can no longer write in any instructions, which is where I used to ask them to write names on each item. Do you know how hard it is to distinguish between 3 chicken wok out bowls, each with its own selection of sauces and carbs? You also can no longer switch from fried chicken to grilled chicken on salads using the website. And if you call the restaurant to request anything, the person who answers the phone will snippily reply that they are very busy and they don't have time to take a request. The food is fine and my team requests it weekly, which is good for Doc B's because I'm at the point that I would stop ordering from them on my own by default. read more

Pacing ourselves we started with the Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken Wings (700º baked, pineapple reduction, scallions) and WOAH it was a large portion! For our main dish(es)... I chose Brussels Sprout Salad (house shredded brussels with a bit of kale & marcona almonds & SANS parmigiano reggiano + gold coast vinaigrette (VEGAN) dressing on the side. The salad was HUGE and absolutely delicious. I originally asked for a plain vinaigrette dressing, but Andres suggested the vegan Gold Coast dressing, I licked the dish clean! and asked for some to go it was so good! My hubby chose the West Coast Steak Sandwich (center cut filet on an artisan roll with parmigiano reggiano, kale slaw & pickled red onion). It was so filling and an actual cut of steak! Not to mention it is in a perfect location for people watching. The have many delicious options for everyone on their menu. You can taste the freshness of their ingredients. I am a fan of this restaurant. The original owners were part of the original Houston's restaurant, so a lot of their menu items & recipes are similar to HillStone. I like their food, and I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. The ceilings are very high and there are large windows. Its a great place to mingle & enjoy a meal with friends or business associates. They have a takeout service and parking is in the same building, just around the corner. As for food items, I usually get the grilled Salmon or the crispy chicken tenders with sides or in a salad. Our first time at Doc's and we were delighted on our long weekend trip to Dallas to find such a great restaurant. I posted a picture of the current dinner menu so you too can peruse the selections. We started the meal with shrimp cocktails that were really large and tasty. Since it was a mini-vacation we decided to splurge and also share an order of Wings that we both enjoyed. Next we both had house salads that were fresh and crispy. Our entree's were chicken parmigiana and Chicken kabobs. They did not disappoint us. Checked this place out on a Saturday night with some friends and gotta say for a chain it was really good. I usually try to support more local businesses but branched out given the good reviews I've seen of this place. We had reservations and were quickly seated but for a Saturday they weren't too busy so you could chance it and probably get a table without a reservation. The waitress quick came and I ordered a Crazy Beautiful which was delicious and I highly recommend. For a started my partner and I ordered the 1lbs Angry Meatball and it was cooked to perfection. Anyone that knows cooking a large portion of ground beef isn't easy without having some pink in the middle; but somehow they pulled it off with no pink. It comes with buttered toast which was great to offset the massive amount of beef we were about to consume. The sauce was excellent and we even sobbed it up with the toast afterwards. Would highly recommend. For my entree I ordered the Danish Ribs and they were cooked to perfection. Good seasoning and you could just taste the flavor with each bite. My only negative was that our sever let our cups run out multiple times and we had to ask a hostess to get a server so we could order more drinks. Could have just been an off night for the server so still giving 4 stars for the overall experience. It's worth checking out if you're in the area. read more
