First time here. I was told make a reservation otherwise you might have to wait a long time. We were sat 15 minutes after checking in. I requested table vs booth and they went to sit us in a booth. That was quickly corrected. Waiter promptly took drink order. We waited a long time 15+ minutes to even be asked if we were ready to order. When waiter finally arrived we ordered appetizers and entrees to avoid any prolonged wait. The food is excellent and definitely worth the price charged. The burger is excellent, definitely a great burger. I definitely recommend it and would order again. The lobster Mac n cheese is divine. Definitely in top of best ever Mac n cheese. Wife said fish tacos were good. The appetizers are all fantastic. The long wait at the start of our visit really made a negative impact on an otherwise excellent experience.

Great burger and martini happy hour on weekdays. We went Saturday for oysters and my friend really wanted sushi which I was skeptical about at a place like this but oh my goodness it was so good!! We also got their lobster mac and cheese which has huge noodles, super creamy, lobster chunks and not too much cheese on top. We got lucky for a seat at the bar but reservations recommended for sure. Beautiful space although a bit dark and sultry. Great service at the bar.

Oysters so fresh... martinis so crisp...fast and friendly service. Hip vibe. Love their crispy truffle Parmesan fries and French chicken.

Hudson house is cool! It's actually a really big place, definitely bigger inside than it looked outside imo. Our server was super helpful and attentive, really appreciated that! The food was also really good, I took off one star cause it wasn't "mind blowing" per se, but I was quite full after my salad (Montauk tuna). We also got some fries that we shared for the table which were good (really liked the sauces!), and I had a French 75 which was pretty good. Bathrooms were definitely immaculate. The vibe inside reminds me of a more upscale Olive Garden if that makes sense? It's nice in general. Overall: would def come back, this is a nice place! Not my fave place in Dallas, but quite good.

This was, hands down, the best Mac and cheese that I have EVER had at a restaurant. It's cheesy, creamy, and THE FLAVORS!!! the fish tacos were more like a fish burrito. They were huge. The server was professional without being overbearing and recommended some great food options. All of this is in a cozy space that resembles an elevated seaside diner. I'll definitely be returning.

You already know - Hudson House is an absolute banger! This is a perfect spot to bring all your girlies and just have a good yap sesh. Cocktails are always fire. Food always on point. Service impeccable!! Try the chocolate silk pie it is zero calories ;)

    The burger is excellent.

Great food and cocktails. Hudson house is northeastern-seafood-inspired. Their menu reflects that, but they have a number of items that can make anyone happy. We had the burger which was fantastic, as well as the lobster roll which was delicious. They usually have several different types of oysters on the half shell. In the beginning, our waiter was a little bit in the weeds, but he certainly made up for it with his kind demeanor and attentiveness.

Love this spot! Reservations needed and good for smaller parties but they do have a private room for large parties too. Delicious staple in dallas! Highly recommend the martinis, burger, filet, and fish tacos!! Great spot for small group dinner or lunch. They also have a nice happy hour and bar area for walk-ins!

This is the 2nd time I've been here. First time I went to the Addison location. I had actually been craving this meal which is why I went back. I did prefer the other location over this one. The fries were over cooked and extremely salty and the roll had entirely too much butter. Both locations were equally loud and the staff was attentive at both.

    Chicken Parm

Chicken parm is amazing! Popcorn shrimp, fries, and dynamite shrimp are amazing as well.

    The Lobster Roll

The best chicken parm I've ever had. Lobster roll was great too! Bartenders are also top shelf!

I admittedly was here (on 12/15) hoping for the extravagant Christmas decor but they only do that at the Lovers location FYI! Despite this the decor is very cute and they did have a tree/minimal decorations up at the time. I originally ordered the burger but they said they were out of it which felt odd for 6pm on a Sunday but I went with the fish taco instead. I was impressed with how big the portion was! It was full of flavor and I loved the sauce and salad it came with. I also ordered a side of the Mac and cheese. It wasn't the best Mac in the world seemed pretty bland but still good. I also got a stone fruit martini rimmed with citric acid which was sweet and strong! My server was kind and helpful with alterations to my boyfriend's entree. Will definitely come back for happy hour to try the burger.

The Greek salad with popcorn chicken

Hudson House impressed me with its tasty healthy options - I was very happy with the Greek salad and coleslaw for their freshness and flavor. The place has a cozy vibe - not quite as Christmas-y as I was hoping. Seems that the heavy Christmas decorations are reserved for the location near highland park. The negative part of our experience was that a lot of the menu was already out of the stock for the night, at 745. The French chicken was completely sold out, as was their burger. Felt extra disappointing to me for them to not have these two items on a Sunday night at a reasonable time.

Does HH add automatic 18% gratuity to a bill?

    No.

    How do I Make reservations?

    Call or use Resy.

Does this location still have happy hour 7 days a week? I gone to the 3 others and it's not offered.

I was there at Happy Hour, and at $7.00 for a Dos XX, I wasn't very happy.

Do you have to have a reservation?

Reservations not normally required, but I'd suggest making one if you want to go Fri or Sat. They fill up fast.

The location is a bonus, close enough to the trail that we parked once and made a full morning of it. We got there close to opening, and with World Cup later that afternoon the wait was nonexistent. Good timing on our part. The vibe inside is cool and laid back, exactly what you want after a morning outside. Service was friendly from the jump, and the bar clearly knows what they're doing. They make a great Carrajillo, which for me is a non-negotiable bonus. On to the food. I went with the Eggs Benedict and they were top tier, great flavor, well made, and came out fast. My wife got the jalapeño biscuits and gravy, and I'm genuinely glad she did because I was torn between that and what I ordered. I ended up getting bites of both, which was the right outcome for everyone. Both were phenomenal. This one is an easy add to the rotation. The trail, the food, the Carrajillo, it all works together. We're already talking about bringing the work crew back for happy hour.

I ended up only ordering a drink and an appetizer because I was so disappointed I didn't want to go further. $23.75 Joey Martini - just a simple dry vodka martini w Kettle One. But the description lured me in with the promise of a fantastic martini with an "extra martini on the side". What I received was a half of a martini with the rest of my martini in a shaker next to it. The martini was fine but nothing special. Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it.
