My boyfriend and I have made this our anniversary tradition. Last year we loved the experience and this year it was no different. First of all, is this restaurant perfect? No. But what has us coming back is their consistency and attention to detail. The space is gorgeous and each room brings a different vibe to the dining experience. We were sat in the darkest of the rooms that was very romantic, and thankfully the music wasn't too loud. When we were seated we found a frame on the table holding a message congratulations us on our anniversary, with our names included. It was very sweet! Our server was prompt, attentive, and very charming. She asked us questions about ourselves and also gave great recommendations throughout the night. The drinks were good! However, the Passionate Kiss started to taste very chemical forward the longer it sat (I'm a slow drinker) so I only finished half of it. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). We also ordered the Chocolate Decadence which was incredibly good. The goal is to come back next year, and plenty of times before that as well. Before you read my review... my favorite places to eat do not look the nicest, but serve very flavorful food and are clean. The restaurant was very beautiful inside, but does not give the correct vibes. Music was very very loud, and the crowd was super "influencer-y" . People are taking photos everywhere which makes sense for how much you are paying for your meal. Our sever was great, very attentive. The food was good. The items on the menu were up to par, but the food itself was not as great as it should be for what you're paying for it. We ordered caviar service which was done well. The lobster dish for 2 was a good portion of lobster and pasta. Do yourself a favor and order the chocolate cake for dessert (get this!) it was moist and indulgent! Evelyn is absolutely stunning and delivers on the ambiance. The restaurant gives full Hollywood glam energy, paired with an 80s-inspired soundtrack that instantly sets the tone for a fun night out. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the experience for us. To be fair, several friends highly recommended the restaurant and spoke very highly of the food, so this may have just been an off night. Still, first impressions matter. I ordered the salmon cooked medium, but it arrived slightly overcooked. My husband requested a medium steak, but it came out medium rare in the center while somehow being medium well on the outside. The meatballs felt like they were missing something flavor-wise, though the calamari was good. The sides -- mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes -- were also a bit underwhelming. My daughter's lobster pasta was just okay as well. On a positive note, the service was solid and the Old Hollywood cocktail was perfection. This place is ideal if you're looking to prioritize vibes. The inside is gorgeous. Super swanky, old school feel. You're greeted with glasses of prosecco at the door and in the restroom. The service was also nice, we got a chance to meet the restaurant manager who was super warm and welcoming. The food however was just okay. I did enjoy the Wagu macaroni, don't expect anything cheesy, it's more cheese pasta vibes. But the taste itself was pretty good. Well I heard so much about this restaurant that I tried to get a reservation for my birthday, but could not because they were so booked up. I had to book out five weeks in advance to get this reservation. That said, completely worth it! We were put in the Ruby room, I believe with the bar. I meant to try to get the room with the dancers, but didn't remember what the name was, so we made our way over there when the dances came around... Absolutely adorable This was a complete experience. Our server was absolutely phenomenal. She gave us great recommendations. She was very personable. The food was amazing!!!! We started off with the roasted cauliflower appetizer, the Wagyu cheesesteak bites, a seafood bisque, a Caesar salad, and a BLT wedge. Our main entrées were the jumbo sea scallops topped with a bump of caviar, prime ribeye with a side of truffle tallow Parmesan fries and a filet mignon. This spot was a totally random find and turned out to be one of the best steak house experiences I've ever had. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get in at the bar. The interior and music was an absolute vibe. They had a DJ playing and apparently have different ones all the time. Really great design and decor. The restaurant is segmented into a few spaces, we sat at the main bar where Ruby provided excellent service. The other room with a bar had dancers coming through every 30 minutes or so doing dance routines to wedding music. The dirty martinis were pretty standard. The cheesesteak bites had the most perfect bread for the situation and it should be generally illegal to use any other bread prepared any other way for cheesesteaks and lobster rolls at large. I was in the area for work and decided to stop in, and I'm very glad I did. The ambience is gorgeous. The space feels polished, inviting, and perfect for both a celebratory dinner or an elevated night out. My server, Minerva, was attentive, personable, and truly enhanced the experience with her thoughtful service. A manager (black gentleman, I forgot his name) also came by to check on me during the meal, which I always appreciate and consider a strong reflection of hospitality standards. I started with a mocktail that was refreshing and well balanced. For my meal, I had the seafood soup followed by the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes had excellent flavor and were clearly prepared with care. My only minor critique was the temperature. Celebrated a belated Valentine's Day here this past week. We've heard about this restaurant and wanted to try it for a special occasion. Our reservation was at 6:45 pm and we decided to get here an hour early for a couple of cocktails at the bar to experience the Ruby Room. The Ruby Room was beautiful. As were the bathrooms. Drinks were great, I had the house martini. We also ordered the tuna sashimi to snack on. Ponzu sauce was good but I thought the fried onions on top was a little out of place. We were told they would come get us from the bar at our reservation time, and they didn't so we had to check back in with the hostess. They got us sat promptly. And had a great table. Our server greeted us promptly and explained some of his favorite items off the menu. We ended up ordering the fried calamari and shrimp. We shared the bone in ribeye and ordered the mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was very good. But not spectacular. Service was great and our server brought a couple of tastings of wine for us to try and decide between, which was very kind. Truly blown away by this restaurant! I loved the low lighting, the decor and the food. I started my meal off with a delicious espresso martini and the went for one of their specialty cocktails to pair with my Philly sliders. The house salad I had was SO good. Evelyn is a swanky steakhouse with so many cool areas. Each area is unique and full of charm. Even the bathroom is a picture worthy experience. There are 6 rooms so make sure you check them all out before you leave. The parking is valet only and if you drive too fast you will miss the entrance of the restaurant. Once on site you can walk the red carpet to the front door. In December 2025 there were a lot of fur coats in the house, so make sure you dress up a bit. The food and drink: They have specialty cocktails that were quite tasty Parker House Rolls: Don't waste your time ordering the expensive rolls. Online I kept reading about them but they were like rolls you can get at HEB but they added 4 different flavor butter. Not worth the money or the stomach space in my opinion. Appetizer: wagyu cheesesteak bites- these were phenomenal! Only served with 3 I think and a little pricey at $18 but worth it. Fries were good but they made a big deal about truffle this and that but it didn't do anything to elevate the taste in my opinion. They are cooked in beef tallow so they were good. I especially loved the old Hollywood glamour theme and how it was inspired by one of my favorite books The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid! Absolutely delicious... though $8 for two rolls did make me pause and reflect on my life choices. Philly Cheesesteak Bites (2/5) Bland overall. Chicken Rigatoni alla Vodka (3.5/5) Spicy, sweet, hot-honey chicken with vodka sauce. Surprisingly good and very creative. Not your typical pasta, but it worked. Crème Brûlée Cheesecake (4/5): Loved the brûléed top and fresh fruit. Solid finish to the meal. Cool hot spot in dallas. Build out is amazing and they also have the vibe to go along with it. It's defiantly a "it" restaurant and hopefully it lasts. There's so many of these fancier places opening in dallas and I am not clear if there's room for all of them. The cocktails are delicious and the food is great as well. The ambiance is super fancy and the prices match so bring your $$$$. The dance floor gets lit later in the night and the people watching is . The restaurant is absolutely stunning with several seating options. I don't know that I have seen anything more beautiful in a restaurant. Service was excellent. The steaks and pasta were average. The add ons and presentation made them special. Evelyn is definitely worth a try at least once. read more

The food was subpar. I think the mini sliders could've had a bit more seasoning and the sauce they gave me to pair with it was way too onion-y. The steak was well done but was they over cooked it. I feel like the portions and taste should be better for the price point. The service was okay, the manager made up for it towards the end so I have no complaint. First time at Evelyn the place is super nice, ambiance was great. My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday. I had read some reviews prior to coming and taught it would be a great night to celebrate her birthday. Our server was great and aware we came to celebrate my daughter birthday to my surprise she didn't offer her a shot drink or dessert as I had read that this place does this for special occasions. I was able to experience of hand as the group of ladies next to us their server brought out a dessert for the birthday person. Overall it is a very nice place to go and enjoy time with friends and take pictures. I give an a plus to the rolls and spread!! read more
