I loved how the restaurant wasn't packed and super loud because we came early. My favorites were the wagyu beef tartare and baked Alaska. My experience at Delilah's was disappointing from the moment I arrived. I had a reservation, yet the hostess was unnecessarily rude and I was still made to wait, which immediately set the wrong tone for the evening. Unfortunately, the issues continued from there. My chicken fingers arrived cold, and although I did not ask to speak with management, the manager came over on his own after learning about the problem. He apologized and told me that he would "take care of" the bill. Based on that conversation, I reasonably expected some type of adjustment. When the bill arrived, however, nothing had been changed. I then had to call the manager back over and have a second conversation about something he had approached me and offered to address in the first place. Only after that follow-up did he apply a 20% discount. For a restaurant that positions itself as an upscale dining experience, the entire situation was disappointing. A guest with a reservation should not be greeted rudely and then made to wait, food should not arrive cold, and when a manager voluntarily steps in and says he is going to make something right, the guest should not have to follow up to make sure it actually happens. Whether it's a girls' night, date night, celebration, or just an excuse to get all dolled up, they've got you covered! When I tell you all their servers work to provide that white-glove service, it's absolutely amazing! The food was very good, a little pricey, but totally worth it! After arriving late due to severe traffic, I was really appreciative that Delilah was still able to accommodate us. I had called ahead, and we were seated immediately, which I loved. It did take about 20 minutes before anyone came by for drink orders, which felt a bit rough after being in the car for 90 minutes, but things improved quickly from there. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, filet, pasta, and finished with the baked Alaska. Everything came out promptly and was absolutely delicious. The entertainment was truly the star of the night -- you're there for an experience, and that's exactly what you get. Wow what an incredible experience! For starters the decor and ambiance is so beautiful, I love when a business really goes for it with a theme, and they hit the nail on the head. The live band was a great touch with the dancers, very entertaining. Our server was on top of it with recommending dishes and overall very kind. As for food, everything we tried was incredible but if I had to pick a favorite I'd have to choose either the truffle mac n cheese or the hamachi crudo. When I tell you I was so full, but couldn't stop eating the Mac n Cheese 12/10. The show started at 6, so it was nice to HAVE an hour to listen to the server and talk a bit before the amazing entertainment. The show had us jammin all night. The PERFORMER sang her butt off and we were just happy to be there. What I loved most is our servers weren't stuffy. They were literally themselves. Cool as hell and knowledgeable about the menu. I heard the hype about this place but mainly from the Vegas location. We went on a Wednesday night. From the front steps to the first step inside, you are transformed into a completely different world. The place was full of patrons. I wore a button down shirt and slacks from work and almost felt underdressed. We started with drinks. Shockingly, the bourbon selection was very limited. I almost didn't believe the waitress. Went here 2 weekends in a row. This place is BEAUTIFUL. I am front SF and they don't have any restaurants like this out there (or that I know of) so I was highly impressed that I had to take my sister who was visiting the following weekend. Our evening at Delilah was nothing short of spectacular! This 1920s themed burlesque dining experience had a beautiful atmosphere with dancers and a band. After dropping my car off with their complementary valet service, my wife and I were kindly greeted by the hostess with a "happy anniversary!" as I had noted on our reservation. We were told we could grab a drink at the bar while they got our table ready. There was a lot to take in at first trying to navigate through the walkway around the crowded bar with the restaurant's low lighting. We found a spot at the end of the bar and the bartender made absolutely delicious cocktails for us. The hostess found us and took us to our table. Even though I was faced away from the room, the mirrored walls behind my wife gave me a great view. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. It was busy, however I feel that service could have been quicker at times for the price that I was paying. It was loud like other reviews said and we needed to yell over the table a few times, however I picked this place to be entertained and I was! We had oysters and tuna tartar to start- absolutely delicious! We shared entrees of roasted lamb, uniquely paired with greek yogurt and roasted lobster with pasta. Both were so good! I was expecting the food to not be up to par based on other reviews, but we both thought it was delicious. we had a limoncello sorbet for dessert which was perfect after a heavy meal. The champagne for two was perfectly balanced and a higher up specifically came by the table to wish us a happy anniversary and provide us with another glass each of complimentary champagne. Delilah is no exception to one of these new "it" spots with nyc + Miami level glam built in. We dined here on a low key Tuesday night and it was perfect. Not too packed and the live shows (dancing and band) were both super cool. We started with a couple of cocktails and several apps. We got the crab cake, the chicken tenders, and the crudo. All were good but I'd say the tenders were a bit underwhelming. The crab cake was super tasty. For entrees we got a steak, pasta, and the Chilean sea bass. We also got the mac and cheese and cauliflower. The highlights for me were the steak and the cauliflower. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. We started with the 1616 and Showtime cocktails. They were good, but I've had better-crafted drinks at other cocktail lounges in Dallas. For appetizers, we ordered the Hamachi Crudo, Chicken Tenders, and Crab Cake. The chicken tenders were surprisingly my favorite of the three. For mains, we had the Black Truffle Agnolotti, Roasted Lamb, and the Burger, along with Brussels Sprouts and Crispy Cauliflower on the side. The burger, agnolotti, and crispy cauliflower were my favorites. However, for the overall quality and experience, I've had better food and service elsewhere in Dallas at a similar (or lower) price point. For dessert we tried baked Alaska which was exceptional. I would say I have never had a dessert like this before so definitely suggest ordering that. One thing to note -- we were only offered still or sparkling water when seated and opted for still, which ended up being $11x4. We weren't offered regular tap water until after we had already paid the bill, which felt a bit disappointing. We ordered Ace of Spades (and while that shouldn't determine service), I would at least expect attentiveness. We barely saw our server maybe five times the entire night. At one point, she disappeared so long that we had to pour our own Ace of Spades because she simply did not come back. It took 25 minutes to get a lemonade after asking three separate times. And once it finally arrived... it was just okay. Food-wise, it was very hit or miss. The chicken tenders are extremely overhyped. At $30, I expected something memorable, but they were just regular fried chicken tenders. The sirloin was cooked perfectly no complaints there. The sea bass was flavorful and well-seasoned. The cauliflower had an odd lime taste that didn't quite work. The cornbread was extremely small and had a strange aftertaste. When the food came out, we had issues, but our server never came back to check on us. Eventually, we were given the check without any follow-up or attempt to resolve anything. Decided to make a late night reservation here, to check them out. Stepping into Delilah was truly mesmerizing! The place is beautiful inside and it truly does not feel like you are in Dallas. Everything is perfectly curated from the table decor, to their matches, and beautiful table napkins. We got some complimentary biscuits with butter and pimento spread and that was delicious. I ordered the chicken tenders which came with fries as my meal, and they were good. In my opinion the chicken was cooked to perfection, and I enjoyed the spicy bbq sauce that came with them. I tried the All Night long non alcoholic beverage and that was also pretty good. To end the night in celebration of my birthday we ordered the Sundae and it was so good, but huge! The only reason this place gets two stars is they do have a decent service and entertainment. We had a reservation at 7:30 pm on Thursday night which we made a month ahead, to be precise it was made on February 8th for March 12th . From the start we arrived at the exact time of our reservation and were asked to wait at the bar, the bar is super crowded so it is almost impossible to stand and feel comfortable as you either stand in the way of staff or fully covering the view for the people in the booth. They do have 2-3 bartenders and you will wait a good 20 minutes before your turn comes to order. Food: I don't even know where to start, I do understand the concept of 1920s and the menu items reflect it, however, when you open a new franchise in Dallas you have to be better at food! I had hamachi crudo which was super underwhelming and didn't have much taste to it, pigs in blanket are made with Wagyu and is meh at best. For main entree I ordered lobster pasta and after my second bite I had to send it back, as part of my lobster had cartilage in between meat and pasta was very salty and not spicy as advertised. Overall food is not it. Entertainment not bad but be prepared it is very loud so while the performance is happening, which I believe is every 30 minutes, it is impossible to carry on conversation during it. As somebody said in the reviews another place that cares for aesthetics but not for proper delivery and taste of food. Not sure what happened to their phone policy, but I had my phone for pics and nobody came up to me to tell me otherwise. My wife and I had a fantastic dinner last night at Delilah. Our waiter, Tim, was fantastic, giving great recommendations and overall excellent service. His work was complemented by the entire teams of servers who constantly checked on us, keeping our water glasses full and keeping us informed of progress on our orders. Greaters were wonderful. Sat quickly and food came out fast and hot. Server could have been a little more knowledgeable and friendlier. Felt like I was giving my order at McDonald's. The busers were fast and attentive. Beautiful inside. Singer was great. Don't recommend the tenders very dry lacking flavor despite being their top appetizer. Tuna tartare was spectacular and refreshing. The lobster mafaldine was mid. The Wellington was good but Gordon Ramsay's was better by far. The grilled cheese was great. Macaroni gratins is a must! The Kendall brownie is just a big brookie. Good but not awing. Over all great for date night or for girls night out for the ladies. Let me start by saying that the restaurant is beautiful, it is very elegant and spacious. The decors is beautiful and the service was great. However...the entire experience was ruined by the unbearable noise level. The acoustic in the room is terrible, it's nearly impossible to have a normal conversation over dinner, you can barely speak to the person that sitting right next to you, but forget about trying to carry a conversation across the table. To top it all off, they have live entertainment, unfortunately, instead of making the experience pleasant that live entertainment makes the entire experience even more overwhelming and unbearable. I'm not going to talk about the food because it makes no difference, I will never be back there again no matter how great the food was, we spend so much money and we left with a huge headache. read more
