I booked a 7:30 reservation expecting a quiet night... but I couldn't have been more wrong. We walked into a completely packed restaurant--every table full, every corner buzzing. The vibe was eclectic and memorable, with a giant fish tank in one corner and a Ducati motorcycle in another. In between were rich red leather booths and a sharp, knowledgeable bar team turning out excellent cocktails. The service was outstanding. Hailey took great care of us and made excellent and confident recommendations that were spot-on across the board. This was one of my best restaurant experiences of 2026. Our table got an array of different cocktails to start, and everyone loved their choices! I had their devil's haircut, and my god it was one of the best old fashioned I've had in my life! For apps, we got bread, tot oscar, and caesar salad. It was all ok. Brandy told us it was recommended to get different dishes and do family style, so we got pasta, lobster, cod, and 2 different steaks. I appreciated not being tucked away in some unfortunate corner, though I don't think this gorgeous restaurant even has any such spot. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so incredibly friendly. Herman introduced himself and took my drink order. Then he came back and we talked through the menu options. He asked about what I like and guided me to the most fantastic cod dish. It's a massive portion and was far more than I could eat... but it really was quite delicious. I also had the bacon appetizer and a side of brussels sprouts. Both were perfection. The brussels were to die for. Really... don't skip those! If you want something extra incredible, eat the brussels sprouts WITH the bacon. Holy moly. As the night went on, several other members of the staff stopped by to check on me and each made a small bit of conversation. Every single person made me feel so welcome. As I left, multiple people shook my hand and thanked me for visiting them. Another wished me safe travel back home. Bestie is in town and I wanted to make a booking somewhere that felt fun. He loves a good steakhouse and while I've had a few recommendations, I'll always end up choosing what I want. I've never had an issue eating during a senior citizen hour. We are in the states. I feel like 845p is something I'll only do abroad. I want to be winding down for the night by 845p not starting dinner. Crazy boring I know! We'd left the George Bush library and 5p felt perfectly in alignment for the day. I love a place of silence just as much as I love a very bustling dining room. I'm your perfect ambivert. We arrived to an empty restaurant and I loved every second of it. We shared the fried Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, both superb! How in the world are we still not done... We topped off the meal, where? How? With our dessert stomachs of course! Our waiting was attentive and did a great job checking on us. As for food, it was on the pricier side but all portions were shareable. The menu was a little limited on protein options. My husband and his friend split one of the larger steaks and said it was pretty good and enjoyed the charcoal flavoring. I got the cod which was delicious and a huge portion but it was pretty pricey. Really delicious place! We came here for a 'Christmas Eve' dinner (a few days before Christmas Eve) to celebrate, and had the best time. My brother in law got the wagyu which was delicious, some of the best steak I've had. And made in ennis! My mom got the burger which was delicous as well. For the sides, we got the mashed potatoes, the macorani casserole, the elote, and the Brussel sprouts. All were great! The Brussel sprouts and macaroni were our fav. The Brussel sprouts were perfectly crisp with a great mustard sauce on them, very different and creative. The macaroni was also a lighter cheese that was amazing! Everything about the food here is amazing. My wife and I started with a wedge salad (we shared and they brought it out on separate plates in a beautiful presentation). We ordered Rogge's battle axe to share and it was the best tomahawk steak we've ever had. The dry age made everything so tender. The fat rendered like butter and I had no bites that were grisly or chewy like I typically do with this cut of meat. It was worth every penny. Between us and another couple we shared 4 sides (the sides are large enough to share between 2-3 people each) we got macaroni casserole, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and the elote-style corn. All were fantastic but the brussel sprouts were surprisingly my favorite- excellent flavor and crunch. We had the triple layer chocolate cake which was also good but nothing to write home about. We spent about $270 for all the food listed and a 20% tip which was not bad in my opinion. It's a nice steakhouse with some of the best steak I've ever had. We don't drink alcohol and had water for drinks, so it will be significantly more if you don't share like we did. We had sides still lingering after the meal because we were all really full. We weren't trying to scrimp snd save - we just wanted to try a lot from their menu and knew we'd be too full if we didn't. The tomahawk is definitely big enough to share. The restaurant itself seemed in an odd location (I don't live in Dallas so I can't confirm) but it was amongst industrial buildings. The inside immediately makes you forget about its physical location- there is some amazing decor including a mini submarine fish tank that is legitimately one of the coolest fish tanks I've seen. The bathrooms (for men) have mouth wash, floss, even a disposable razor if needed. Very cool. If I'm in Dallas again looking for an amazing steakhouse- this would be it. A benefit here is the free and readily available self parking. Downtown is always a mess for parking unless you use valet. read more
