Wicked Butcher is giving sultry steakhouse vibes in the best way possible. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is clean, chic, and effortlessly cool -- and let's talk about that playlist... absolutely bomb. The music set the tone for an unforgettable night! I loved seeing the steaks and oysters beautifully displayed, and the open kitchen was such a nice touch -- watching the chefs in action added to the whole experience. Our waiter was phenomenal -- super accommodating, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs all night. We shared the cowboy steak ($72) sliced for two and WOW... perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a moment. The sides to choose from ranged between $16-$18 We ordered the creamed spinach and it was rich and delicious. The wedge salad was fresh and satisfying. The corn brûlée? A crowd favorite -- everyone at the table was obsessed! The only miss for us was the mac and cheese -- good texture, but it didn't leave a lasting flavor impression. What truly made the night special was the energy -- the experience felt personal, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect place to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday. Wicked Butcher didn't just serve a meal... they created a memory. 10/10 would recommend for celebrations, date nights, or when you just want to feel fancy and fed.

Fun slider place in lower greenville. I wish when you got the dozen pack you could try all the flavors but you have to get a min of 3 of 1 kind. It was fun to try them.

Service, Ambiance and quality of food was excellent. I sat by the bar, and I was served by a younger bartender, he was GREAT. Great conversationalist. Highly recommend the Salmon Tartare as an app. I had the filet for the main, it was ok, over cooked, but edible. Lastly i finished up with the Sunday, which was awesome! Cocktails were great too

I stopped in early on a Friday night, grabbed a seat at the bar, and enjoyed dinner while reading my book. I wanted to try a few different things, and overall it was a great experience! The ribeye was tasty -- I might've preferred a little more marbling, but it was still flavorful and cooked well. I tried the crème brûlée with mangoes, but since crème brûlée is my all-time favorite dessert, I might be a little picky -- it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. The service was wonderful, and the vibe was relaxing -- perfect for a solo dinner. Definitely a place I'll come back to!

Y'all, I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately it fell short for me. Came in tonight for a good middle of the week break from cooking with eyes wide for a delicious meal. The setting was beautiful, we were seated quickly, and our server was great. We ordered the wicked smoked old fashioned and the stone fruit old fashioned. The drinks were delicious, cheers to the bar tender! Next came the sample taste of fried risotto and it was delicious. Our salads were on par for a good steak house (Ceasar and wedge) and the bread and butter were divine. So far so good. But everything after was less than stellar. We ordered 2 ribeyes and received one ribeye and one new your strip. The Ribeye was ordered medium and came a little under temp but the flavor was good. I ordered my ribeye rare plus and got a NY strip that was cooked to the right temp, but when I asked about the cut, I was told it was a ribeye just hand cut closer to the strip side. No immediate offer to bring me the appropriate steak. I tried the steak and it lacked flavor, was extremely tough to cut and extreme difficult to chew. The server noticed I only took two bites, and asked how everything was tasting, I unfortunately had to say I could not eat it, then I was offered a re-fire which I kindly declined. They did remove it from my check without having to ask so I was thankful for that. I seriously do not like complaining and rarely send food back. We may try again and just not order steak.

Great steak frites sandwich! This location is in the middle of downtown Dallas, with a very posh upscale feel. The menu is notably small and our server paced our meal well. The steak frites sandwich had well-seasoned filet mignon and tasty shoestring fries on top.

Came for restaurant week dinner. I enjoyed walking in and being able to see in the kitchen and a few of the steaks. Service was top notch here too. Very quick and friendly. Before we even ordered, we got complimentary champagne, bread, and I think fried risotto balls. The bread reminded me of a Yorkshire pudding. It was so fluffy but with the rosemary butter was absolutely delicious. I kept eating more of it than I needed to. For my first course I got the beef tartare. I love beef tartare and this one did not disappoint. First, the presentation was amazing coming in in a bowl of black rice. Then eating each one were five delicious very big bites. The tartare with the cream and the roe all together was perfect. I tried some of the tartare on its own and it was great just like that too. For my main, I got the ribeye which came with asparagus and potatoes. Once again, the rosemary butter came in clutch for the potatoes. The steak was cooked perfect to medium rare but was lacking flavor I'd expect from a ribeye. Was still good but not the best I've had. Moving on to dessert, I got the chocolate tort. This was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. It was very chocolaty but not too rich which can sometimes happen. Even already being full, I ate every bite of the tort.

Was looking forward to the amuse-bouche and/or popovers that I read others describe but we didn't get any. After receiving drinks, we got our entrees and two sides. My pork chop was great. The side of mashed potatoes was at best room temperature. We mentioned it to the server and he took it back to the kitchen. A manager-type came by and wanted to know if everything else was good and said they were remarking the potatoes. It was hot the second time. I'd have been embarrassed if I were the restaurant and taken it off the bill or offered a free dessert. Not Wicked Butcher.

If you're looking for a great steakhouse downtown with great food and a sophisticated atmosphere be sure to check out Wicked Butcher! We visited here during restaurant week and did their restaurant week menu. Despite this, we were still treated as if we were dinning from the regular menu. We were provided with complimentary bubbles as we got seated, a little palate cleanser and a large bread (I believe it's Yorkshire pudding). For an appetizer I had the braised tenderloin hummus and it was delicious. Next, I had the ribeye- it was cooked perfectly. It was a phenomenal steak and a 16oz steak meant I had leftovers to take home. Finally, their chocolate tart was divine and very rich. The staff and service was very attentive and didn't leave no stone unturned. I appreciate when the staff handles the small things- ensuring your water is always filled, new cutlery at every step, and the presentation of it was very smart. I definitely want to come back and order more from the regular menu!

It was such a treat to walk into Wicked Butcher. Very modern decor and worth any influences visit. The drinks were strong and beautifully prepared. Service definitely A1. The food choices were not the most vast but good. The appetizers definitely overshadowed the main courses in taste. My friends had the steak frites and were just ok with their meal. Since I am unable to eat beef their underwhelming response kinda made me sad. Our server i believe his name is Michael was just great and made up for it. They have the cutest patio where a group of gals can dream they're on a runway. Definitely a must try so you can get your own take.

We had seen wicked butcher on yelps list of best steakhouses and wanted to try it out! We were celebrating my birthday and it was very nice that they brought us champagne for the occasion! I ordered the ribeye and my girlfriend got a fish dish. I also asked for the triple butter on top of my steak. The steak was very good and tasty and had a nice crust and my girlfriend like her dish as well! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is our waitress was a little snippy and had a bit of an attitude and they didn't have two dishes that we wanted to order but other than that everything was very good! Also, the cake that they brought out for my birthday was surprisingly delicious! Normally these kinds of cake are just eh but this was very tasty as was our actual dessert we ordered (chocolate cake)! I would recommend!

Foodie Alert! I had the opportunity to dine at the Wicked Butcher for a friend's birthday dinner, and it was such a vibe! We started off with a complimentary appetizer, Arancini (Italian Fried Risotto). Those little rice balls were so flavorful! I wish they offered those as a purchasable appetizer. I ordered the wedge salad and the Rack of Lamb. The wedge salad was okay; it was a bit bland, and I think it was missing red onions. However, the Rack of Lamb was phenomenal! The flavor burst through every bite, and I tried to eat slowly to prolong the amazing experience. We also ordered sides for the table: Mac & Cheese, Brussels sprouts, and Creamed Spinach. Overall, everything was delicious. It's a very nice upscale steakhouse with great service, cocktails, and food! I would rate WB a 4/5. So go check them out and tell them Ms. Hope sent you.

The bone in fillet was aged to perfection.

The deviled eggs, dragon…read moreroll, and pigs in a blanket were all tasty, and that's honestly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, everything else was a struggle from the moment we walked in. We didn't have reservations, but eventually found seats at the bar. Given how busy the place was, we figured the bar would mean faster, more attentive service. We were very wrong. We ordered two beers, a non-alcoholic drink, and three appetizers. The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

I called before deciding where to eat on a Sunday afternoon to confirm parking situations. Parking is not easy downtown so this played a huge factor in figuring where, out of the dozens of brunch places, to eat. Definitely a bit of a walk to get accommodated at the actual restaurant so valet seemed the most reasonably enticing for parking solutions. Well, I called and spoke with the lady at the front desk. I confirmed with this little girl FOUR TIMES IF 1. They had valet available today 2. If it was complimentary. Come to find out it was not complimentary. And $7 for parking just doesn't sit well with me when there are ample free options else where with satisfying beverage, meal, ambiance, and service. All of which, I DID NOT GET AT HAYWIRE. I come in and although I had a reservation that I was 10 minutes early for while noticing tables available, I was told by that same girl who lied to me about parking I needed to take a seat. Reassuring me that it would only take two minutes to be seated. 10 minutes later I see coupled and groups walking in and guess what? They were immediately sat. While I am waiting to be sat at one of the three clean tables I'm staring at. I finally tell my boyfriend I am about to eat at the bar and he goes to the hostess stand to inform them our frustration and guess what? We were sat immediately. I get seated and there are two standing fans placed next to my table that's blowing my hair all over the f*****g place. I had to tell them to turn them off. What? No AC in this place either?? We immediately ordered and got the elk tacos for an appetizer. The tacos are WAY too spicy and way too salty. Too spicy AND too salty?? They're a no for me. You literally can't taste anything because of both! I HATED these little tacos. Probably the worst I've ever had. Ever seen someone attempt to pinch a bit of salt to season and the entire top comes off?? These tacos. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He loved it (loves spicy and seasonings because he's Cajun) but I tried it and it was over seasoned. Again? Couldn't taste what I was eating. The mashed potatoes were divine. Enjoyed those! And then the green beans were tasteless. Hahaha what a joke. I ordered the barbacoa chilaquiles and it was literally too spicy to eat. Inedible. My eyes teared up, my nose started running, and I couldn't taste anything after a couple bites of the spice. I was so f*****g over this place I just ate my boyfriend's mashed potatoes and we left. If I had it my way, I wouldn't have paid for a thing here. They don't deserve our money and I HATE they got a cent from me. I'm livid. I hate this place W I L L N E V E R B E B A C K
