I have reviewed this place before. Same result, just an absolute "must visit" in Plano. Just ole fashioned juicy burgers with ole fashioned great service. Know this, they do get very busy at times. But it's worth the wait. 100% family owned and operated. One of the owners greets you, the other makes every burger. I honestly don't know how he does it. I went here again after a long break. It was still just as great as ever. The Jaden's burger is still the best. One thing about the Jaden burger, I do like the Texas Toast. But a pretzel bun would be so great with this burger. Please consider adding a pretzel bun option, or even a brioche bun version. The onion rings were so fresh and tasty. I absolutely love their onion rings here. The employees were friendly and the food was cooked to order. It really takes me back to those hole in the wall places that just have the best food. Absolute perfection. The ratio of bun to cheese to burger is on point. At first glance I thought there is no way that the bun stays in tact; I was wrong. Then I thought if the bun stays intact then it's too much bun; wrong again. I just love when there isn't anything about the burger I would critique. Fries on the other hand were not my style. First visit. The service was friendly. The lady that took my order was welcoming and kind. I had heard about their onion rings being really good so I knew I was ordering those. I also ordered a cheeseburger. After ordering, I was told where I was to sit and wait for my food. Upon arrival, there wasn't a line and there were a few groups of people in the restaurant eating their meals. I waited for my to go order for under 10 minutes and in that timeframe about 10 people came in. It was obvious to me that it was a popular place. The size of the burger was sufficient as well as my onion rings order. I didn't finish either in one setting. I enjoyed both the cheeseburger (juicy)and onion rings (crunchy). Edmond's saying is that there is a delight in every bite. I can wholeheartedly approve. I don't know if it the premium beef or the expert grilling, that makes Edmond's burgers stand shoulders above the rest. I have eaten a lot of burgers in my lifetime, but this is the best burger I have ever eaten. They don't skimp on the meat, cheese, bacon, or extras. This is the grand dam of deliciousness. The service was excellent. Our order was ready when we arrived. The service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is unassuming with lots of tables and chairs to sit in. My first time trying an Edmond's burger gets top marks. Tastiest bacon smash burger I've tried. My only complaint is that my lovely wife who "just wanted a bite" made it disappear. This is a statement in itself. Fortunately, I ate the fries on my drive home from picking it up and didn't have to mention them. We went here on a weekend and was very busy. We found this place on the Yelp 100 list and decided to check this out. This is a family owned business and the father, daughter and mother work there. Then, there is a chef. We paid $32 dollars total for the meal. We ordered the Blue Burger which has blue cheese, avocado and patties. We got a large fries and shake. My wife got a BLT. Service was really friendly and kind. Burger was nice and juicy as well. Was it the best burger I had, nope, but it was top of there and I had many burgers. I still love my Farmer Burger however. Our first visit today and we will be back, so good. My burger was seasoned so well. Was appreciative of the amount of mushrooms they put on the mushroom Swiss. Loved the addition of caramelized onions on it. The fries were crispy as were the onion rings, both seasoned well. The ranch sauce tasted homemade, so good. We try to keep a list of place we want to try going, my wife has her lists on Yelp, I do more Google. When we find places that we are interested in and our lists match, it's a place to go to. This place has gotten a lot of publicity for a good reason. It's good. Burgers are a pretty simple item to cook but for some reason some places do it better than others. This is one of those places. We really enjoyed our food! I would only recommend going to fresh cut fries, I understand the reason its tough, as it adds another level of work for a small spot that the owners work everyday from open to close already to add one more task but it maybe worth it since the burgers are so good to match it with something great too. Service is what you expect from a burger joint order at the register and they bring it to you when it's ready, which is pretty quick. Happy with how it went especially given the busy lunch crowd. As far as places to sit and the inside of the place, just keep in mind its a burger joint and a busy one at that, so get a seat when you can and enjoy the fresh food. It's got plenty of room for most but be aware a big group is gonna be a challenge. Overall, excellent place with great food and hard working folks making a living, I love places like this! I was looking through the write-ups for Edmond's -- almost all five stars. I read the seven two-star-or-lower reviews that are posted ... those people look like they should have stayed in bed that day. According to the reviews, sorted by oldest first, I only gave them 4.5 stars for their first Yelp review three and a half years ago. It is only fair that I re-review my rating. We've eaten everything on the menu at least once over the years. Everything was better than good and we now have our go-to favorites. We didn't know Edmond and Aida at the time i.e., my Yelp critique was sincere. So it is only fair that I update my original rating to 4.8 stars. :-) You can round up :-) I had to :-) I'd give my rating five stars plus if I could talk Edmond into adding pork tenderloin sandwiches, as they make in Iowa, Indiana, and Missouri, anywhere above the Arkansas River, for all of us northern immigrants who are getting too old to drive I-35 to get our fix. Went to Edmonds burgers for a take out order for the folks at work! The owner and her husband were both there. Hard working family. Husband was flipping burgers and wife was running the front! Aida was greeting the regulars, running the cash register, taking orders, and simply being amazing for a first time take out! An amazing multi-tasker (Aida) owner/employee! Super sweet person! Our food was ready for pick up super fast! Amazing! The fries were good and not soggy when I returned to work. Plus the burgers are really good. Lots of ketchup was also included for the condiments. Ketchup is always a plus when eating fries. We paid for each order separately. (Cash is preferred). Saves cost on paying to process the credit card for the owners. Please consider paying with cash next time you go. I was glad to pay with cash since many shops don't acknowledge cash. I personally find that weird that cash is not the first payment option. The burgers came out in a timely manner and did not disappoint. I got the bacon cheese burger. It was a good, old fashioned burger with a ton of great flavor. They also have a lunch deal that comes with a smaller burger, fries, and a drink for $9.99! I opted for the bigger burger and onion rings, which was not so cheap, but it was worth it. The food didn't take too long. It was cooked fresh, so the short wait was worth it. If we lived in Plano, we would order out weekly. The food was hot! The fries were so good!
