I ordered the double cheeseburger, and the patties were so thick that I had to remove one just to enjoy it; it was okay after that, but nothing particularly special stood out about the burgers. The atmosphere wasn't great either. The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming; no greeting when we came in, and ordering felt awkward. On top of that, the place had a bad smell, which made it feel a little dirty. We originally planned to eat inside but ended up ordering to go because of this. I've driven by this place for over a year. My youngest is obsessed with burgers so one day I finally made the stop and took him in for a burger to go. It was gross. The inside was filthy, I was actually contemplating not allowing him to eat the burger just off of cleanliness in this restaurant. I don't eat the cheezy fries stuff at my age now, but reading the Google reviews, I had to try the spicy sauces that people were raving about! I requested no grill seasoning on the patty, I wanted to test their Halal claim, and this is good beef! So, let's get to the main attraction: Spicy Bang Bang Fries! Big cuts of skinless grilled chicken breast, mixed with seasoned fries, and small cubes of red onion, sliced jalapeños, tomato chunks. This is drenched in a spicy, tangy, zesty, mouth-watering sauce... that is hot on the bite, without a long burn. Very edible, and enjoyable. I got a sample of their Zinger Sauce, and wow, Thousand Island Sauce with a kick! But, again, very edible, and enjoyable. Short, but sweet. Small place with big flavor! So this place looked promising due to the reviews, but my experience wasn't great. The tables were sticky and one of the gentleman working there was talking/yelling on his phone pretty loudly near the seating area. This wouldn't be that bad, but the chicken was really dry and had a weird taste to the meat it self. The fries were also undercooked and didn't taste great. I have no idea how this place made it on my bookmarks, but I'm so glad it did. This hole in the wall is serving up delicious chicken sandwiches and hamburgers, along with some wild loaded fry concoctions. I got the Philly cheesesteak and even before I sat down, I could smell it and know it was about to be a knockout. The onion rings were thickly battered and not too greasy too. The owner/cook was very nice and let us try sauces we hadn't heard of so we could contemplate getting other things on the next visit. He also has a fridge stocked with unique sodas, such as a pineapple Mountain Dew and a berry lemonade sunkist we had to try. We will definitely be back to try other things. Even though it's fried foods, you don't leave feeling gross like you do at some places after a burger and fries. I can't wait to try some of the more unique offerings. If I had to give it one complaint, it's the fact that when we walked up and the owner was cooking, he said he'd be with us in a minute ( which was totally fine because we needed extra time to look at the menu) but there was an older female employee who just stood there. She didn't help him cook or ask us if she could get our ordered started. She just stared at him while he prepped the food. It was...odd. Then a male employee came out of nowhere (the place is very small and you can see the cooktop openly) and took peoples orders to help out after we were already waiting for our food but he was loud. Like, LOUDLY telling a story to the female worker as they just stood behind the cook again and didn't help out. We got our food timely and didn't mind the wait, but it was weird and made me feel bad for the chef that his employees were just chilling. Stopped into this location for the first time today around 3:30pm. The only patrons in the restaurant at that time were leaving. Placed our order at the register. The cashier was professional and knowledgeable about the menu item questions we asked. We sat down. A few of the tables were dirty and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Once our food was ready, we talked to the counter to pick it up and return to our table. All the while, a man (looked to be management/owner) was sitting at a table on his phone or computer, or walking around. At no time while we were in the establishment as anything cleaned or greetings given. As for our food, it was all tasty. We ordered bang band fries and a beef cheesesteak. However, the fries that came with ground beef had no more than two tablespoons of beef. As for the cheesesteak, it was delicious and hearty. The only thing is, the chicken tasted a little mushy and grainy like old chicken. At $6 for fries, they could have splurged and given some fresher chicken. PRICE: The price point for the food I got should be around $12 or so but definitely not $17 closing on $18 after tax. If the burger was $6.99 for their House Burger and $4.99 for their Shwarma Fries (hell I'd pay $5.99 if the chicken was fresher) then I'd come back. But as it stands, overpriced for fairly decent food. CLEANLINESS: This place is appalling. I still ate their food because I was starved and I've seen worse and had worse. So I'm gross like that I guess. The restaurant's AC was off or turned up so it was warm. There's a feeling of greasiness in the air as I was standing their waiting for my food. Not great but bearable. However, the following are unacceptable especially during this time: The cook (see picture) wasn't wearing a face mask. His cooking hand was gloved but his other hand was not. He was grabbing things from the toppings fridge with his bare hands and wiped it on his pant legs. Not his apron but his pant legs. Same pant legs that would be around his ankles if he sat on the toilet now come to think of it. The assistant in the back that was doing side jobs went out to his car to carry in a big box of something. He was gloved as he was walking out carrying his keychain full of keys. Then coming back in, he went back to work with the same glove. He proceeded to take out what looked like raw chicken from a plastic bag with the same glove. I can only imagine he's the same person cutting the lettuce and tomatoes and if he's not caring about going to the car gloves and reusing them, I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN he doesn't care about raw chicken and lettuce cross contamination. Honestly, if the other guy didn't go to the car with gloves he reused, I might not even be writing this review but that's just blatant disregard for food sanitation. I'll update to let you know if I'm feeling any ill effects from the food later. read more

One of my favorite burger places in Dallas - too bad its a bit far from home. Fast, delicious food, and the cherry on the cake is that its halal for those that are looking for that. Their meat patties are one of the best I've had! The gyro fries (I think that's what they're called) is delicious and we ended up ordering 2 or 3 for our entire group. Personally, I was not a huge fan of the wings but other in our party were. The place is extremely small so large groups can be difficult depending on the time that you go. This is my new go to burger place, it's pretty unassuming tucked behind the all the other shops in this area and the interior dining area is quite small so get it to go if you are more than 4 people. The burgers themselves are amazing, I have been three times so far and each time has been a superior sandwich experience. Twice I have gotten chicken, one fried and one grilled, and once a beef burger. The fried chicken sandwich is the best fried chicken you will find anywhere around here, even after getting home with it each bit was a crisp explosion and a healthy smattering of mayo and pickles really capped it off. This is officially one of my favorite burger spots in DFW! They have halal bacon and pepperoni which makes for a killer burger creation.
