JC's Burger House - Best Milkshake in town!! Burgers are tasty and the onion rings are crispy!! - Fast Food Near Me - Allen, Texas

Looks like they've slipped a notch. This is an easy fix for somebody. My burger was cooked and put together with zero love. Now,if you're a cook it's just not that hard to turn out a decent hamburger. Even though cooked on a flat top there was no edge caramelization. So, either the grill isn't hot enough or the cook is messing with the patty too much. The irony of all this is,last week I had a world class burger at the original JC location, that had closed and was revived by Edmond as Edmunds burgers. Same flat top JC installed years ago and Edmond knows how to use it. As George Harrison said best, " All Things Must Pass". I think JCs run is over. read more

Top 3 burger in Dallas. Has been for 15 years. Also great ranch and tots. Jalapeño Poppers are not as well known but are bomb too

Came in and ordered a nooner burger. She puts in a junior burger. Gave me a wrong burger due to a major language barrier. Junior and nooner sounds like the same thing. Then instead of making me the correct burger. They made the egg and bacon and served me my same cold burger and fries with hot egg and bacon. Never going here again. She even had a attitude. We are not in Juarez, this is USA! read more

First time in the place... my wife says the burger's are actually better than advertised. No mean feat... she's a sommelier of burgers. I had the Boss Chicken sandwich. Best chicken sandwich I've had in my life.... Nothing else comes close. read more

Walked in and the young lady had on some very short shorts , showing things that should not be shown. She did explain what come on the works burger and was able to take our car order. We did tell her it was our first time we needed a little extra time. Well after ordering and receiving food we get home and the food is fix wrong. I order 2 works one extra mayo and one grilled jalapeño on the side. Well it was 1 no mayo and 1 light mayo and neither burgers had cheese. So I called and explained the issue and she did apologize but she also said it's nothing she can do about it. I will have to wait until a manager comes in. So I asked when will the manager be in and she told me I call can back tomorrow to see if he is in or call back Thursday. This is very disappointing after spending $51 for my order and this was my first time visiting this restaurant. Very poor customer service. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. read more

Stopped in for lunch, had the Works Burger. Burger was dry, bacon was burnt to a black crisp. Overall just a pretty bad burger, would not eat here again. 2 stars because the staff was nice and the tots were decent. read more

Stopped in at JC's today and had the lunch special. I got a 1/4 lb burger, hand cut fries and a drink for $10.49. Everything was made fresh and was quite tasty. Did I mention hand cut fries? Fast, friendly service and excellent food describe JC's. Check 'em out! read more

The double medium burger was cooked perfectly and boy is it a big burger! The chicken bacon salad was enough for a family also. I had honey mustard dressing which was perfectly made.. The restaurant was clean with nobody else besides us; probably since it was at 8:00 p m They were getting ready to close at 8:30. The two staffers were kind and patient while we looked over the menu. I would say we will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area. read more

Dry burger, chicken on the chicken sandwich was too salted and the bacon super hard and almost black. Dry overcooked fries. The service was very nice and attentive. Just the food was not good quality. read more

Food is good but they have become very inattentive to mobile takeout orders, even at times the restaurant is not very busy.

Stopped in for weekly date night with my husband. We stood at the counter for awhile. There was a female employee at the counter but not in front of so we didn't know she was ready to take our order. The employee cooking spoke up and said, hello, has your order been taking, we responded no. Then the young lady came back to reality from daydreaming and took our order. Our food arrived quickly. We had room for dessert to take home. I sampled two flavors and decided on the strawberry banana. I would return with hopes the young lady cashier is more attentive to customers standing at the counter. read more

Came into JC's because I wanted a good old fashioned hamburger and that's exactly what I got. You can get a bunch of different options for specialty burgers or just a plain burger. I also got sweet potatoes fries and a strawberry shake made with bluebell, couldn't pass that up, both were delicious. The service was kind and friendly. It felt very homey and I was served quick and with a smile. read more

Great people at the counter! Food takes like uncooked Walmart burgers and tater tots! Didn't ask for refund because great service. But I spent 21 on a burger single medium one patty and half order of tater tots. I spit everything out! Wouldn't buy a homeless a burger here. read more

Top-notch burgers! I chose the Juarez Burger, which comes with avocado, grilled onions, jalapenos, and pepper jack cheese. Also I added lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Very impressed with the food, including the hot & tasty fries. Service was friendly and I liked how they brought the food to your table. One downside...a little pricey, and apparently they raised their prices but didn't update the menu board. It said $7.99 for the burger and $2.19 for a regular drink, but I was charged $8.99 and $2.29 respectively. Wasn't a big deal to me but something to be aware of. A pretty solid burger place. It's a nice spot to swing by and grab a bite whether you're in a hurry or not (B)

As you can tell I was too hungry and ready to eat instead of taking this picture. A coworker referred this place to me and I love it, the chicken burger is so good and the fries are properly made. I have become infused with it as much as possible, it's talking to me slowly and telling me to come back and stop typing. With that I bid you goodbye read more

Pretty nice little spot. They got manzanita sol, always a dub. Got my food fast. Nice guy at the register. Had a BOGO coupon so I got the patty melt and bbq bacon burger. I think they're the best burgers I've had in a minute. I don't even like onions but the onions on the bbq burger were so good. The party melt was fire too 10/10 read more

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. That's always a plus. I have not been here in a long time. I reviewed the menu board and went with the mushroom, Swiss burger with fries. Burger is tasty, but you get more bun then you do meat. My burger did have lots of mushrooms, which is what I paid for. The fresh cut fries are crispy and delicious! Worth getting since the onion rings are frozen. The ketchup bottles are not labeled so I'm not sure what type of ketchup they use. It's clean for a burger joint. All the tables were bussed and wiped clean. At the drink area they have fresh cut lemons on ice for the tea they serve. Maybe next time I will try something different. I do love a good burger and I feel they have stepped it up this time. Appears they make ice cream shakes. I did not have one but I did see several folks order one. (Scotty Ps is still my favorite burger joint.) 2018/34 read more

I highly recommend the patty melt! Patty melt met all expectations and the grilled jalapeños was a nice touch. From the out side this place seems tiny buts it's nice and open in the inside. Not feelin' it... family lunch. Tried 3 different burgers and four sides. Sweet potato frie were pretty good. Regular fries were okay. Onion rings tasted like nothing but coating was crunchy. Tater tots were good but didn't come until after we were done with our meal. Meat was flavorless but tender. Buns were like what you find in a Great Value bag if it sits open a couple of days. Toppings on all burgers was adequate and tasty. Menu said all burgers came all the way with veggies et al but not the case on specialty burgers i guess. Presentation was no Instagram photo. Overall adequate but nowhere I ever need to come nack to when places like Haystack are around. read more

Really enjoyed this place. We got there as they opened. Ordered the special which was a third pound burger, fries and a medium drink. They use fresh never frozen ground beef, very nicely seasoned. Fries are hand cut and tasty. The burger was delicious. The patty wasn't too thin nor was it too thick. They also make their own onion rings. Didn't try those today but will. read more

We've dined in several times since we moved to Allen at the start of the pandemic. The service is always on point... professional and courteous. The food is delicious! I'm a big fan of the cheese fries! The burgers are made to order with a lot of options. The restaurant itself is always very clean. Give JC's a try. read more

Drove a way to get burgers for the family. My wife likes this place but I on the other hand have yet to get a burger thats worth a flip from here. At least they are consistent in the poor quality of their burgers. My wife thinks they are good, then again she would rather have a burger over a steak so her taste is off a bit(bless her heart). My burger was dry as heck, really over cooked. My burger buns were soggy as if they sat in water. I know what your thinking, how is that possible. This sparked the dinner debate on how a burger can be dry as hell but the bun soggy as a wet diaper. Any ways go get a better burger and value at wendys or mcdonalds, any where but here. read more

I've heard great thing about this place so I gave it a gander. I feel like the experience I had here could have been better. Walking in, it felt like a dive burger place, so my expectations were pretty high, plus as Samuel Jackson would say "I love a mighty tasty burger" Ambiance B The place was clean, but a lot of tables needed to be cleaned off, that means they could have been busy, but it also could mean they didn't do their job fast enough cleaning tables. Cleanliness - B- I came here with my daughter and one of her friends. They each ordered a burger, I ordered a burger, and I ordered fries with cheese. They brought out the burgers at different times, so we didn't get our food at the same time. I think they forgot the fries, because by the time they brought them to us, it was a big glob of cheese that had solidified on top of squishy fries. Food C The service here was meh. The food here was meh. The cleanliness was meh. I heard lots of good things about this place, so I may try it again, maybe I caught them on a bad night, but fact is, I'm in no rush to return. You typically only get one first impression, so it should be handled with kids gloves. Overall impression on this place is a generous C read more

Love the burgers and onion rings! Always prepared perfectly and the service is great! Hard working staff make ordering easy and pleasant.

My husband got the chicken Sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. I had a burger and the meat was a little over cooked for my liking. Also wish they added lettuce tomato's to the burgers automatically without having to add it. Service was pretty quick, food came out 5-10mins of being there. Very diner esk kinda feel. read more

Ordered takeout. Asked for spicy sauce on one burger and guy said it costs extra when the menu board said free. He said will add a little then. All three burgers I ordered were dry. Service and food quality have been dropping. Have had to have food re-done the last couple times and have had to wait on loaded fries until after burgers were already done/half eaten. I have been a big fan of JC's for years, and I've recently encouraged my vegetarian and vegan friends to give them a shot, because they have fresh toppings and a great veggie patty. I've had numerous meals at both Allen and Mckinney locations over the years, but in the past several months the allen location has been a disappointing level down. We have wasted money and time three times in a row I can't believe I reordered so many times just hoping someone would care... they don't. By the way... I have ordered several times via UberEATS ... the last three were miserable even with additional notes and reminders not to forget sauce or sides. I won't go back. I'll drive to the Mckinney location which has never messed up an order. read more
