Lamb Gyro, Tator Toys, Chicken Sandwich, and Sweet Potato Fries

We ordered two burgers, a chicken sandwich, gyro, fries, and tater tots and waited over 15 minutes for our food. The burgers were really good, fried chicken was thin and dry, and the lamb gyro was super salty. The place didn't look sanitary so that was displeasing.

What a fun and unique burger place. We had delivery, and the food was good. The olive burger is unique. May sound like olives on a burger would throw things out of balance, but not so. They do a good job with this one. Other food was also good. Not rock your world good, but defintely tasty and worth a return trip.

Where have we been you asked? Too much competition for share of our stomach in Plano/Collin county especially for burgers. Not disappointed getting back here after many years. Stuck with usual cheese burger which was yummy. Be sure to get the sweet potato fries.

The second location of a metroplex hit among the Muslim community, it's been well established and received my patronage many times. Although usually deferred in favor of the Richardson location, especially due to a somewhat disappointing first opening, Olive Burger Plano long since has redeemed itself. The interior is large, open, clean and typically fairly quiet, presenting a more relaxed dine in experience compared to its recently expanded counterpart, infamous for crowds and noise abundant. The staff are equivalently efficient and sufficiently communicative, allowing for a streamlined experience, especially due to the inaugural introduction of buzzer based ordering cards. It's nothing you'll write home about, but that goes both ways. As for the real meat of this burger joint, the food here has over time become equally flavorful to its brother location. The same menu of both beef and chicken burgers are on option, meaning you sacrifice nothing selection wise choosing one location or the other. The beef is particularly juicy and can be cooked to order, although I find relinquishing control to the cooks results in the best final product. The main highlights from option to option are the toppings, of which you have the classic trio, as well as beef bacon, mushrooms, jalapeños amongst others which are individually fresh and sufficient in upping the flavor profile of your meal. Certain options are quite similar, but you'll still find yourself coming back to sample what else they have to offer. Wrapping this all up, Olive Burger has well deserved its long lasting reputation of quality halal food. Famed throughout the DFW Muslim commun, there's been very little equal competition over the years in burgers alone. With that said, if you have a chance, come to either location and enjoy yourself an Olive Burger! (I'm not entirely sure they have an Olive Burger, I just quite enjoy ending like that.)

Enormous portions, great prices, very clean inside. The onion rings are tasty, the chicken schwarma was nice and hot. No complaints!

I ordered the turkey burger along with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, I was brought regular fries instead, and neither the fries nor the burger really matched my personal taste preferences. That said, food is subjective, and what didn't work for me may be exactly what someone else enjoys. The service was okay overall, and one thing I did appreciate was seeing people genuinely interacting and talking with each other. In a world where everyone is often glued to their phones, it was nice to see a place that seemed to encourage conversation and connection. While my meal wasn't a favorite, I can understand why this place attracts a crowd. I'd still recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself, especially if you're looking for a casual burger spot with a busy, social atmosphere.

We've been to other RG locations and this was similar to those. It wasn't overly busy, so we were promptly helped. We started with the $6 HH special, Rattlesnake, which is a frozen marg with sangria swirl. It was heavenly! And at $6, sign me up for two! The burgers were as expected, fantastic. The ranch house was impeccable with that bacon/onion jam. Wish I had another. The fries, both sweet potato and regular were quite crispy and seasoned well. This is a burger place that has quite a selection to choose from and the food is quality.

There was plenty of seating at the restaurant with long tables, sit down tables, and outdoor seating. After choosing our table we waited 15 minutes before our waitresses showed up. They were very busy with the lunch rush so it took awhile between everything. It even took awhile to get our waters. One waitress was in training and learning from the other. The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.

The restaurant itself has a real cool hip vibe, definitely up my alley. I ordered myself the beer cheese-steak (with fries) and a blue sapphire cocktail - these. were. AMAZING! They even have a "micro brewers menu" aka kids menu, my son chose the mini smashburgers with chips. He loved it so much, there was nothing left on his plate at the end. They have a bunch of board games available to use while dining so my son and I grabbed a Jurassic Park matching game, this was a super fun activity to do together while munching away. We had a wonderful time here and will surely be back soon. :)

I'll start with the positives, this location has so much potential! I love that there's a brewery…read moreright on Main Street. What a fantastic addition to the community. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!
