We Love Twisted Root in Plano. Great Staff and Food. This Location has Pizza! If you like pickles you will love their free pickles in barrels. I believe 5 flavors!

Twisted Root Beer - Great Food, Great Vibe, Great Pickles! This is such a fun spot we randomly ran into--and honestly, I was shocked it wasn't busier because everything about it was really good. The service was friendly and fast, the ambiance was relaxed and welcoming, and the food totally hit the spot. We went around lunchtime, and I ordered the Western burger (my husband did too), while my brother got the American. All of them were huge--definitely something you could split if you're not super hungry, but if you are, you'll happily finish it. The flavors were great and the portions generous. What really stood out were the house-made sodas--especially their root beer, which was delicious--and the house sauces, which were all worth trying. But the most fun and unique part? They have buckets of different kinds of pickles you can sample for free! Such a quirky, memorable touch. All in all, I have no complaints. Everything we tried was good. It's definitely a place I'd go back to--and one I'd recommend if you're in the mood for a solid burger and a laid-back, flavorful experience.

Great and fun service. Food was delicious. Ambiance was lively! We all had burgers. Burgers are amazing! Fries were good and onion strings were light and tasty.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service! Give it a shot if you are interested in a relaxing evening in a fun environment!

I love the ambiance of Twisted Root. The space is perfect for large or small groups. I got the classic burger, which came with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It was the typical burger. The meat was tender, not dry, and well seasoned. The only thing that I didn't like is that fries are sold separately as opposed to a combo. I never understand when restaurants do that. Overall, this restaurant was worth trying.

Wow! What a fun experience, the restaurant was clean, the staff were super welcoming, and the atmosphere overall is just great! Definitely a 10/10 burger spot. Great food, great decorations!

Twisted Root has a bunch of burgers to choose from. One vegan option, the vegabond, is made with a veggie patty. It is very good- definitely one of the top veggie burgers I have had! You can also add specialty house pickles for free after receiving your order, and there are sauces like BBQ and a house ketchup (which i highly recommend). Service is great; and the ambiance is nice- they make your order under the name of famous people! Laid back atmosphere and good food!

Pretty decent burger. Wish the bun would have been a bit more firmer and only because it had a hard time keeping the structure with all the ingredients while half way through eating it. Kind of started falling apart due to onion rings and sauce on it. Nice take on the different types of pickles you can just grab from the barrels and try. While none of them jumped out as a must have pickle, they were all decent. Fried pickles were great. Nice and crispy and just salty enough to offset the fried taste. The dipping sauce is a must for these and compliment them perfectly.

A newer Twisted Root after the nearby Richardson and Allen locations closed. This one is massive, and offers outdoor, indoor and two level seating. Same great pop culture theme. Delicious burgers and bean burger options available. The fries are terrific. We adore the soda fountain. Such great flavors. Mmmm, the root beer. This location also offers a full bar. Also, we live the pickle bar. Pickles can totally make a sandwich and these do. Such a stand out option. Also, we love the condiments. The chipotle ketchup is my fave!! Service here was not as great as the Richardson location. All in all, best burgers in Dallas!!

Our first impression of Twisted Root Burger was FIVE STARS. The first two visits were excellent: fresh hot food, amazing energy, and first-class service. Our last two visits .. ONE STAR! The consistency is not there, and the amazing ambiance does not make up for bad food and bad customer service. This last visit made me angry enough to write this review. We ordered: The Western, Aint No Chicken Club sandwich, and Yes Siree Cobb Salad. $35.00 plus tip! The hamburger was cold and dry, the bun was stale. The chicken sandwich was cold, rubbery, the bacon tasted like it was precooked the day before, and the bun was stale. The cobb salad was nothing like what I've had before... this time they threw salad in a bowl, sprinkled bacon, blue cheese, tomatoes, and two slivers of egg on top like a tossed salad, not in layers like a traditional cobb salad and served the dressing on the side. If you've ever had their cobb salad, you'd know it's never like this, and it's typically a generous portion. Yes, I complained. The manager spoke to me like it was good food, so what's the problem? She asked what was wrong with the salad because it had all the ingredients. I explained what it should "look like." They got out food pictures and talked amongst themselves. The manager said she would fix it and bring it out to me. I said I'd rather have a refund (because I knew what they were going to do). She said no, she would fix the salad. Zero interest in what I wanted. Side note: the traditional cobb salad was important to me for diet reasons. So when I ordered this specific salad, I expected it to be in layers. The manager brought me the salad. She did exactly what I thought she would do! She dumped the first salad and all of its ingredients into another bowl. Mixed in the dressing. Kinda layered it so it looked like the picture. This time there was no avacado slices. I still needed the ingredients to be separate for diet reasons. She did not understand this concept and did not care. The whole experience ruined our night. More importantly, the food quality and customer service are the reasons why we won't go back. Dear Twisted Burger, You've shut down two locations and invested in this new location. If you don't get your quality control fixed, you'll be out of business by the end of this summer!! There's too much competition in this area, too many burger/ salad places that make a real effort to make their customers happy ...

Prices are all within a reasonable price. Price point is around $12-$20 dependent on choice of entrée. Beers are well priced as will, with certain days having specials at $4 pints. Usually, most bars are either too fancy or just ok. This place matches the perfect menu choices for the environment while not sacrificing quality and it shows the unknown chef/ cook working in the back is passionate and loves what he/she does by producing the dishes that come out of that kitchen. *Atmosphere of establishment is impeccable. The staff is always on top of cleaning, sanitizing areas when patrons leave. In the military, I knew when things were clean when I could smell bleach. Buckets of bleach water with clean rags are used to wipe down the bar tops. *Additional staff, constantly wipe down, remove rubber mats on the bar top, and sanitize multiple times while in our presence, demonstrating the utmost meticulous discipline on clean areas. Men's restrooms are known to smell at bars, however, at this location the restrooms are constantly checked on by staff and cleaned if needed. I have never gone to the restroom and not been able to wash hands due to no soap or dry hands, due to no paper towels. Bartenders (Traci and Kyla) and waitresses are friendly and respectful. The manager, Buddy is very friendly to my wife and I and now at this point, when he sees us walk in, he will ask if there is anything we want to see that isn't on the multiple TVs. If there is a San Antonio Spurs game, he will make it a point to put on the game, so we are able to enjoy my team. *This bar accommodates me in the manner I love having a draft beer dressed with chamoy and Tajin. The staff already just by seeing my wife and I knows our drink, and makes it a point to fulfill our expectation.

Piper (waitress) provided great service despite having no visible management support. The wine I ordered was on the menu but unavailable, (the wait time was unbelievable) and I also found the staff's attire to be more revealing than expected, but...to each their own. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I can't recommend this establishment. I have yet to hear from the owner. Regardless of the dirty, lack of support, & non-response from the owner of the establishment, I still gave our waitress (Piper) a great tip! She deserved it and tried to make our experience better.
