If you like dive bars, reasonable drinks and throwing darts, this is your spot. There is one pool table but darts are game of the house. Drinks were reasonably priced and the place felt clean. Definitely a spot for locals, but I felt welcomed by the bartender so it was a good hang for a bit. Plus, they actually stay open past 10, which is hard to find in the area it seems. read more

Wife and I stopped by Drinks for a quick nite cap. Drinks has plenty of great reviews; but, one in particular by "Summer D" (2017) sold us on the great vibe, accepting atmosphere and great drinks!! And let US say, Drinks didn't disappoint! Owner CHRIS and bartender CHRIS #2 were both great (see pics). On top of the great service, heavy pours and good music playlist (everything from James Brown to rock & 2000s RnB), they also support a local businesswoman (Rashondra) who's Jalapeno poppers were (see wife's face enjoying them!) and her pic with Rashondra. My favorite find on this trip to Dallas. Wasn't sure what to expect in a dark shopping plaza with subway. True dive bar. To me dive bars are kinda hard to find with cheap good drinks. Checks all the boxes. This particular spot is known for darts. They have plenty of darts boards with free darts and there is usually a wait on weekends. I didn't partake since drinking and throwing things with sharp ends is not something I'm good at. One pool table in the back and kick ass juke box. There are several TVs with all the sporting events. From the first time I walked in I cant remember feeling more welcome. Most times I'm the only African American here but no matter. The regulars include me in their bar conversations, recruited me to help find some car keys a regular lost. Remember me every time I come in. Even the manager at Cheddars was like "hey I was talking to u at Drinks the other night." Bring your own food or pizza made in the back. Good strong drinks and a great double IPA for me. Perfect. Everyone was so welcoming , it's really a bar that has "regulars" and a few new people, I love that aspect! The business owner Kaitlyn is great and lovely she loaned us darts and honestly the drinks she made were not lacking at all. Great UNDERGROUND SPOT. Supper hidden place in Richardson, may look scary to come... don't be fooled!! I once thought I have tried the best dark beers ever, until I came to this place. They got at least 20 beers on draft. Smacking myself SO SO hard for not previously visiting Drink's Bar. ARGH! Great spot in a relatively secluded spot near the TI campus. Went there as part of our yelpcation tour tradition (new places, highly favored reviews) and was really impressed with the space (very large), friendly service and great dive-like atmosphere. A darts tourney was in progress when we visited, and it was fun to sit at a table and have a Miller High Life, while having a nice conversation about life with the wife. Divey but relatively clean and comfortable, under new management as of this entry. Good drink specials (especially the "big" beers) clientele is generally an older but more friendly crowd and some TI employees. You go there to relax, not to impress anybody. read more

As I drink my way around DFW, I like to try out different bars and next up is Drink's Bar Having not read reviews before hand, I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. First of all, this isn't a place you find by accident, you pretty much have to know it's here either by recommendation or finding it on a map. Unless you work at TI, you're not going to be just 'driving past'. Now, I was thinking to myself, "urgh, Richardson, smokey", but I forgot that this far south is actually in Dallas so there's no smoking inside. Drink's is in an small, unassuming strip mall but don't let the ouside put you off. Inside the first thing you'll probably tell yourself is, "Dang! That's a lot of dartboards". About 12 plus a couple of the soft tip electronic ones for those who cannot add up :) The bar was towards the back and straight in front of me, past the 2 pool tables. My bartender was really nice, by the name of Hayley (spelling assumed). Thought I did make it to the bottom of my beer a couple of times, she was always quick to offer a refill, even though it looked like she was working the whole place by herself this night. I noticed, to the right of the bar, there was a chalkboard with a list of beers, however it wasn't exclusive since it didn't have all the tap beers listed. It would have been nice to have the full list up there. The overall atmosphere was laid back and friendly. I imagine most of the people are regulars and/or local. Overall, friendly staff & customers, nice drinks selection for a tucked away bar, just wish they had all the drinks listed. Good atmosphere. What's worse than a dive bar? How about a dive of a dive bar? This place is in the sticks. I even got lost finding it with a GPS and a map. They should call this a shack bar because of how tiny and deserted it is. Once you see this place you will forget you are still in Dallas, because the location looks like the backwoods of Alabama. This is the type of bar where you'll forget how to get back home after a night of drinking. Btw, call ahead of time if you plan on drinking here at night. The scheduled closing times are inconsistent. Sometimes they will close 2 hours early on a slow night. read more

Great for an after work happy hour or if you love five bars then this place is it! Good drink prices and a ton of darts :) There is also pool tables, but just not as many. They let you bring in your own food - which is rare for a bar that I've been to. This may be due to the fact that they didn't have their own food to provide. They have just recently started serving their own food -pizza if I remember correctly but they still let you bring your own. I hope that doesn't go away any time soon! We've done quite a few work happy hours here because it so close to work. They really treat you well when you let them know ahead of time that you have a big group coming :) This place doesn't have a huge selection of beers, but they carry a few that I like and the special on ziegenbock is absurd for happy hour! I would still recommend this place as a chill hang out. They don't have too many wines (if any) to choose from but their bar is stocked for liquor :) read more

This is a true dive bar. It's a small bar they is definitely in need of a remodel. With that being said they do have VERY friendly staff and they hold dart tournaments several times a week. If you love darts this is the place for you. They have about 10 to 12 boards, a pool table, and 3 soft tip boards. The drink are well priced and they sell pizzas for $7. read more

This is a below average dive bar hidden in a nondescript Subway strop. Mostly regulars, and a big darts business. Good bartenders and stiff drinks, but the regular clientele isn't very open to anyone different from them; I went after work and got jabbed from all angles for wearing a blazer. Lots of customers were trashed and bragging about their drunk driving skills. Go here if you're feeling dirty, otherwise save it for a second (or third) stop IF you're in the area. read more

Drinks is easily in my top 5 bars in the Dallas area. It's a true Dive Bar. My coworkers and I venture out to drinks at least once a week. It has a very chill atmosphere and is never crowded like other dive bars in the area. There is darts, pool, and Friday night Think and Drink Trivia (my personal favorite). The crowd is friendly and the drinks are the cheapest I've seen! Definitely make a stop here if you are in the Richardson area. read more
