Thanks Summer for leaving a great review!

Wife and I stopped by Drinks for a quick nite cap. Drinks has plenty of great reviews; but, one in particular by "Summer D" (2017) sold us on the great vibe, accepting atmosphere and great drinks!! And let US say, Drinks didn't disappoint! Owner CHRIS and bartender CHRIS #2 were both great (see pics). On top of the great service, heavy pours and good music playlist (everything from James Brown to rock & 2000s RnB), they also support a local businesswoman (Rashondra) who's Jalapeno poppers were (see wife's face enjoying them!) and her pic with Rashondra. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Dallas. Til next time Drinks!

My favorite find on this trip to Dallas. Wasn't sure what to expect in a dark shopping plaza with subway. True dive bar. To me dive bars are kinda hard to find with cheap good drinks. Checks all the boxes. This particular spot is known for darts. They have plenty of darts boards with free darts and there is usually a wait on weekends. I didn't partake since drinking and throwing things with sharp ends is not something I'm good at. One pool table in the back and kick ass juke box. There are several TVs with all the sporting events. From the first time I walked in I cant remember feeling more welcome. Most times I'm the only African American here but no matter. The regulars include me in their bar conversations, recruited me to help find some car keys a regular lost. Remember me every time I come in. Even the manager at Cheddars was like "hey I was talking to u at Drinks the other night." Bring your own food or pizza made in the back. Good strong drinks and a great double IPA for me. Perfect. Stop by and tell that sweet bartender Jeanine Summer said hi for me.

Everyone was so welcoming , it's really a bar that has "regulars" and a few new people, I love that aspect! The business owner Kaitlyn is great and lovely she loaned us darts and honestly the drinks she made were not lacking at all. Great UNDERGROUND SPOT. All of the regulars thought us the rules of darts.

Definitely one of the friendliest and most welcoming I've experienced since moving to Richardson.

Free Play is fun and a great bargain in my opinion at 13 dollars a person per entry. You can stay…read moreas long as you'd like and continue playing games, all in free play mode! There are a variety of games- PacMan, a foosball like hockey game, racing games, pinball, frogger, shooting games, old classics like Fix-it-Felix, DDR, shooting hoops, skee ball and more! It's relatively clean and employees come help is something is glitchy or a ball is stuck in the basketball game, for example. They play music at an appropriate volume (this place is way less deafening than cidercade, and less crowded too!). I've never had food/ alcohol here so can't speak to that. It's definitely a great place to go, especially with a buddy, to get competitive and just unwind a little! My only complaint- the arrows in DDR are not very sensitive and tend to stick a little on their machines. It's very hard to adjust the initial difficulty level because the DOWN arrow on both sides of their machine is so not-receptive to touch you have to jump on it with intense force to move it from basic to more difficult. I'm actually pretty good at DDR and kept getting BOOS from arrows I was hitting. So just don't come here specifically for a DDR marathon and you won't be disappointed. Everything else was in good working order!

I visited on Father's Day, and dads got in free, which made for a great bonus…read more If you enjoy classic arcade games, this place is well worth a visit. For about $13, you get unlimited free play all day, making it an excellent value. The arcade is a little smaller than some of the other Free Play locations, but it's packed with classic games from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s, along with a nice selection of pinball machines. There's a full-service bar and food menu. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there aren't many places to set down a drink while playing, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy. The arcade is tucked away in an older shopping center, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Even with the Father's Day crowd, the staff stayed busy while remaining friendly and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it's a fun and affordable place to spend a few hours, whether you're reliving your childhood or introducing someone else to classic arcade games.
