Been here a few times. Food is always top notch, and fresh. Fun atmosphere. Great service. All around, always a great experience here.

Good Tex Mex. Rice and beans were very good. Crunchy tacos were good. My wife would have been happier with street style tacos but they didn't have them. The salsa comes in tiny ramekins and is a very smooth thin sauce. Not a lot of flavor in the salsa. I had to ask for hot sauce which came in small plastic containers. read more

Iv been coming to this place for over a decade because it is the best Mexican food in Plano. It is also very reasonably priced. The service is always great and they have specials every weekday. Just watch out for that booth right underneath the ac vent directly to the right when you walk in. Unless it's the middle of summer then definitely sit there. read more

Me and my wife went here last night and had Jake as a server and let me tell you we'll definitely be going back! Beans and smoky salsa with the chips - LOVED pastor tacos - Smokey sweet, spicy, delicious! California burrito-yes just yes. That is a burrito when you don't know what you want get that it's everything you're craving! Both of which entrées were recommended by Jake and did not disappoint! Restaurant was super clean and just gave off a good vibe. You could tell there were some regulars at the bar having fun. And even the other staff members that walked by looked at you and smiled asked how you were doing and you could tell they were glad you were there genuinely.! prices were more than fair for what you get and I was looking all over the place at other people's plates looking at what we're gonna get next time as well! For our first impression of this place it will definitely last and will definitely be coming back with friends! read more

We love love love this place. We rarely eat in, just because we like taking it home Whether we do or don't - the food is excellent, staff is friendly and service excellent. The music is rather loud but enjoyable. We love the Tex-Mex deco There's inside and outside seating. There's a bar and seems to be quite a 'happy hour crowd' even though we don't join in. The restaurant itself doesn't feel like a bar, there's plenty of seating away from the happy hour crowd. I highly recommend Senor Locos! read more

I really like this place. Great staff, location, patio, size of plates of food, for a nice price. This is very Tex-Mex so it keeps California's away. Nice local hang out spot. They play Hispanic & American music. If you go sit in Tricia section, she is great. Bartender Rosa is funny and has a great smile. read more

It's been about 6 or 7 years since I've been here. I went with my family last week and, wow, I forgot how good it is!! Maybe even better than before. Service was perfect, the food was great, fair prices. They have the best chicken enchiladas. The chicken inside is juicy and seasoned. Their chips and salsa and bean dip are so addictive. The guac is really flavorful too. Definitely heading back again soon. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place!! I have to go at least once or twice a week. The customer service is amazing and the food is always Delicious, Hot and Fresh. It was a tasty meal after a little skating sesh. First, the black bean dip that accompanies the chips and salsa is absolutely delicious. You could really just eat that and a tortilla and be content. The salsa had the right amount of spice. We ordered a chimichanga that had good flavor. The crust on it seemed a little soggy, but that could have been potentially due to the sauce on top sitting a little too long. The quesadilla was hands down a favorite. Super cheesy and perfectly toasted. The rice had great flavor, plus being paired with those black beans (substituted the refried beans) made the sides even better. The flautas were a little too crispy/fried, so it overpowered the meat/cheese flavor. The guacamole was a great accompaniment to different dishes. The korbel rita with champagne was fantastic! Not too sweet (we got strawberry) and quite delightful. Overall, we will be back when in the area and recommend trying it. read more

We've lived in Plano now for a year, and even though there are so many great options for food here, we find ourselves at Señor Loco's almost every week. The food and margs are always fantastic. The service here is unparalleled. Every waitress we've had has been fantastic and the managers come by your table often to ensure you are taken care of. If you're looking for a nice spot to become a regular at, you should definitely try Señor Loco's. read more

The staff was super friendly. The food was good. They have interesting combo plates and cold draughts. My San Marcos plate which included a beef taco which was crispy and good, a chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce (yummy), and a carnitas enchilada topped with tomatillo sauce which was delish but had chicken in it instead. Still good. Nobody's perfect right? I would come back here. Chill vibe and kitschy/divey with a patio iirc. read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. The wait staff is not very good. The service was almost non existent. I have been going to eat here since 2015. The original folks were great and the food and service was really great. I am not sure what happened but I do not recommend this establishment any longer. The staff just does not care about the service. My wife decided to stay after waiting for 20 minutes to get some one to take her order. They were not busy either. She had to ask for service by stopping them while they were taking orders from people sitting directly behind us and who had come in 15 minutes behind us. There is no ambiance in this restaurant as it is mainly a bar. read more

We saw this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was great and also the service. I had the chimichurri tacos and my husband had the street enchiladas. Do they even want business? Every time I have come here the attitude is so bad. I come back a couple times just to see if maybe it was a bad day for them. It's a whole family. The food is not good. The salsa is good the drinks are awful. Only thing that this place has going for them I would say is location and the outside patio. Other than that the food is like a two out of five and the drinks are nasty watered down. I would come back here for the location and sitting outside but their attitude just sucks! I mean straight up resting bitch face on everybody in there. I don't know if they need a spiritual cleanse in there or what! The only people who are smiling or the cooks in the back. Everybody else mumbled and grumbled and gave attitude like nobody's business. It was definitely not a good spot for anybody to go to just chill out. No thank you food was bad read more

The food here is amazing! This was our second visit and we will continue to go back. The owner is super friendly and checked on us twice. Our waitress was so friendly and personable. We ordered the #9 lunch plabano stuffed pepper and upgraded to the steak fajita and cheese. The batter was very light. This came with flavorful side of refried beans and rice. The portions are huge so my husband and I split this dish. They have happy hour from 11 to 7, I had their house margarita on the rocks. Actually, I had two... We highly recommend you check them out! read more

I'm kicking myself right now.... I've been living five minutes from this place for the past eight years. I'd pass it every day. I didn't try this place until last night (5/5/23). My wife and I decided to give this place a try for a nice date night/ Cinco de Mayo celebration. THE LOCATION Easily found on West Parker, not even 45 seconds from the 75.... Maybe a little longer if you catch a red light or two. PARKING On most days it seems decent. Cinco de Mayo was a bit of a different story. QUICK TIP: The strip mall next door seems to be protective of their parking. So avoid parking there during business hours. SEATING There's outside and inside seating. We wanted to sit outside but we didn't call ahead. The other issue was that there was a 70% chance of rain and it was a bit windy outside. We decided to sit inside. Still a nice experience. Indoors is decorated very festive. It kind of reminds you of a Mexican food dive that would be located on a beach. I can't explain it but the place definitely has a beach vibe. THE MENU Lloyd to choose from. They even have burgers THE STAFF Very friendly and hard working. Cinco de Mayo wasn't terribly crazy but the kitchen was backed up and there were quite a bit of people there to eat. The staff handled it like champs. Our waitress was very friendly and got our orders right. THE FOOD I have to be honest. I'm a bit disappointed.... IN MYSELF that I didn't stop by this place a long time ago!!! My weakness is for chimichangas. Not only did they have them, they made it exactly the way I asked for it. And they have charro beans! The bean dip that they bring out (with the nachos and salsa) is pretty good! My wife had a shrimp tacos and a chimichurri taco with steak. We both enjoyed our food. THE PRICES Very reasonable. Our bill came to $35 with a drink. OVERALL I'll definitely be back. This is my new neighborhood spot for Tex-Mex!!!! read more

My family goes to Señor Locos pretty much every Friday. The servers are fast and friendly, the margaritas are good, and the food is fantastic. Not a bad place if you are looking for some Tex mex and maybe some cocktails . Although this stop I just stopped by to get chicken nachos & some guacamole . The sauces provided were good and needed as there really didn't seem too be much chicken. Buried under piles of lettuce was some chicken. All & all it was filling so I'll give it that much but definitely had better elsewhere. read more

The service is terrible here. The restaurant was not that full, and the server still could not keep up. Hubby and I liked the black bean dip served with the chips and salsa. My beef taco and Hubby's fish tacos were both good, but I asked the server for more salsa, which she completely ignored me. It took her forever to bring the check. We haven't been here for years, but we were recently at a friend's house near the restaurant and I suggested it. I love the atmosphere allowing the front of the building to open up in nice weather. Our waitress started off by offending one of the ladies in our party. She asked to see ID when alcohol was ordered, the lady smiled and someone said you just made her day. She then said, oh your my dad's age and gave the ID back. Not cool. I went with my usual, the ground beef nachos. I've always loved these and they are still just as tasty. They are stingy with the beef it seemed, but still very good. My wife got her usual, the beef fajitas. They absolutely do no skimp on the meat with these. She only ate half of hers, I only ate half of mine. This isn't the most amazing Mexican restaurant, but it's pretty solid. We'll be back. read more

Great food (and drink) with lots of options served hot and fast. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Good prices.

We are regulars at this neighborhood TexMex place. The food is good, but ask for the spicier salsas as the default one is pretty boring and bland. I like their enchilada variety plate. read more

I've been on the hunt for that perfect little taco shop with great margaritas. I found it at Senor Locos on a Saturday evening. The glass garage doors open to the patio made the place feel more festive. Our bartender was fantastic- she was making margaritas, directing the wait staff, checking on orders and answering all of our questions. The open kitchen allows you to see cooks hard at work filling orders. We started off with margaritas (pic is of the Blood Orange House Margarita and the Luchador) which were not only pretty to look at but also reasonably priced and very tasty. The small guacamole went well with their warm complimentary chips and a variety of salsas. Ask for the Pendejo Loco salsa, it isn't that hot but tastes great with the black bean chorizo dip. Our street tacos were great, next time I'm definitely ordering their nachos. Just to make sure, we had another round of margaritas that were are good as the first few rounds. We met a few fun people eager to strike up a conversation. The staff was so nice to take pics of us around the place as we imagined we were on some tropical vacation. (Blame it on the margaritas). I'm looking forward to going back to that little taco bar. read more
