What a great surprise. Running from one meeting to another, I pulled up Dream Tacos on my GoogleMaps search and had the best Taco in my life. Best I can describe it is World Peace in a man's hand as the heavenly fusion of eastern and western flavors filled each bite. Server named Chai was top notch. He knew and promoted the menu effectively. Finally the ambiance was very cool. Great Bar, casual and comfortable. I will be bringing customers there for the NCAA tourney for sure. read more

This one was hard to rate 4 stars for food 3 for service and cost On the one hand the interior is beautiful, stunning and so fun. The menu has so many tasty offerings and the food was delicious. However, the prices are, in my opinion, steep for street size food. My Mahi Mahi taco was delicious, but it was small. I was still hungry and could have easily ordered a second or even third taco BUT at $11 for one taco that was too steep for lunch. Instead, Dani and I PAID to split chips + salsa - not free, but a paid appetizer. Our server was so quiet we had trouble hearing him and he mostly left us to ourselves, occasionally dropping by to fill waters. Dream Tacos has excellent food, but the portion sizes and cost are far too steep for this area and for being a taco joint. We were looking for a quick bite to eat at night and came across this place. The inside is decorated like a Bridgerton ball but they also have a full size bar with TVs. So you get best of both worlds. The service was just okay. I think our server was close to clocking out so didn't check in often. He also messed up our order so had to redo a taco. Hence why the star was taken off. The food was great. Tons of unique tacos and plenty of variety of proteins to pick from. While the tacos are up there in price, you get your money's worth in toppings. Overall I enjoyed it and would go back. The waitress who took care of me was one of the loveliest person I had ever met. During my initial visit, my sister and I shared the brisket tostada pizza (a solid 10/10), and for our tacos, I went with the mahi-mahi topped with fresh mango and pineapple salsa, citrus sauce, and sriracha (10/10), while she ordered the bulgogi Korean taco (also 10/10). We also tried a few martinis during happy hour (available for $2 off from 3-6 PM, making them around $10 each). In February 2025, I had my birthday lunch here with approximately eighteen guests and they were extremely accommodating. Everyone was happy with the food, service and drinks. I visit this location at least once a month now and I always order the Lemon Drop Martini with Kettle One Vodka, and they never disappoint. I have been driving by this restaurant for a while. Finally made it inside with a group of friends. The concept is cool as they give you dreamy, playful and unique tacos. You walk into a fun and whimsical restaurant. I really wanted to love The Dream Tacos. There were things I really liked and others were just ok. I will probably go back again to decide if it's worth the hype. Ambiance 5 STARS It's a vibe and fun, bright and colorful. It's cool and happy feeling. Love the decor and details very girly. Cocktails 3 STARS Asian Peartini was average. I wished it tasted more like a pear. It wasn't too sweet and I enjoyed that. Food 3 STARS Different and surprisingly interesting tacos. Nice Presentation on all of them. Carne Asada Taco It was ok but lacked flavor. The meat wasn't well seasoned. The marinade is missing something. Catfish Taco It was fried nicely and the pickled onions were a bonus. Shrimp and Grits Taco Interesting play on this one. Nice sized shrimps. Service 3 STARS The waitress was pleasant and helpful. We were a big group and she managed the table well. I had to remind her to get water. But overall she handled our table well. Overall I had a pleasant experience. I've been twice now and can say it's one of my favorite places to eat now. On my first visit I got the smokey bbq quesadilla and while it was super greasy it was also very tasty. The show stopper here is those thin cut fries I got as an appetizer. My server was amazing and brought out this fry seasoning salt and man - those were some of the best fries I've ever had. This last time I had a fried catfish taco which was simply divine. The catfish was perfectly fried and not greasy at all and the sauces and garnish just made it spectacular. Wishing Yelp would give you half star options as I'd probably give a 3.5, but it is what it is. Service was great. The ladies that took care of us were so helpful and attentive. The decor and interior is truly insta-worthy, and the tacos I had were great. I had the spicy chicken taco and the smoked BBQ brisket taco and they were very good. My son had the carne asada taco and there were like two small bites of meat and it was filled mostly with pico and guac, which was a bit disappointing. We also ordered chips, queso, and guac and while both dips were extremely good the chips were either rushed or say too long and half were perfectly crispy and half were rubbery and not fried all the way and pretty greasy. Almost like 2 batches were added to make our appetizer. I also ordered a drink off the drink menu and while it came out very pretty and I HATE to complain about this, it was too strong. I know how that sounds. It's usually the opposite problem but the liquor was so strong I had to ask for an extra glass to pour half of it into and add iced tea to it to even get most of it down. I will say it was worth the $13 and equated to what I'd expect as 2 drinks for as potent as it was. If your looking for more picrure perfect than what id consider typical taco shop, this is it.
